I fell in love with the Regulators because of ICE. Hammer, is tough, passionate, and falling a part at the seams. His back/hip is destroyed after getting hit by a car. His MC brothers are worried about him. His brother, Evan, does what he can to help Hammer. It isn't until a fiesty, take no prisoners, Des shows up, that Hammer starts to get his act together. But, Des is running from someone. What happens next is heartbreaking, beautiful, and healing. Please, please, please, write more Regulators !!!

HAMMER

I absolutely hate when authors think that it's sexy for us to hear about the sexcapades of the H with other women in this case we got to read it repeatedly it's a complete turn off for me I get authors want to originate the sex/erotica i think this book completely missed the mark if they authors are going to go there then they better be able to have one awesome love story to back it up for me in this case they authors did not even come close really disappointed in this latest installment in this series.

Hammer!

Great male character, decent female char.

Not as good as the last one, but pretty decent nonetheless. It's fast-paced, pretty short and a pretty good MC book, so it's perfect for a lazy day.

------------
I don't know what the reason to show the hero having sex with other women (it was a disgusting moment of reading, because the heroine was present at home) doesn't work for me!
I was disturbed and forced me to finish reading. The story of the first book was better.

“Just remember, son, actions speak louder than words.”

A group of the club barflies are hanging around in a corner. My eyes find the luscious ass of none other than Jane, and my dick gets hard instantly.

I brace my weight on the bar top with my right hand then bend over enough to slowly slide the neck of the bottle into Jane’s sopping wet pussy. She moans around my cock, and that’s all I need to know she enjoys the cool glass inside of her warm cunt.

Her pussy is one of the tightest I have ever had. I know from past experience her ass is even tighter, and that is where I plan on finishing.

“Fuck it! Please fuck my ass, Hammer!” “Damn straight, woman.”

“You’re one hell of a man, Hammer. Let me know if you ever change your mind about having an ol’ lady, because whoever makes it there with you is one hell of a lucky lady.”

Jane might think I’m one hell of a catch, but the thought goes both ways. Whoever lands Jane Jackson one day will be one lucky motherfucker. In another time, another place, maybe we could have been more, but she’s not it for the long run with me.

20 pages of the Kindle fucking Jane the other woman

“I’m thinking of how much fun it would be to have a dick for a day.” Tripp laughs. “Gotta pee, I take it?” I raise an eyebrow at him. “I’m a chick, and we stopped the car, so of course I have to pee.”

Yesterday, I called a barfly here and fucked her hard. No, that’s wrong. She fucked me hard. So hard the bed was banging against the wall and Desirae, thinking I fell, came rushing in. The blush that hit her face only had me thinking of how pink her pussy is and if I could make her blush everywhere. After her invasion, I wasn’t able to finish and sent Kate...

An hour later, I’m on my hands and knees, cleaning the grout on the tile floor in his bathroom, when I hear the laugh of a woman and the deep growl of Hammer’s voice.

I can hear the sounds of them kissing, sloppy lips slapping together. At first, I want to run out there, scream, and maybe throw some shit. Then I stop myself and think I want space. I want this to be professional, even if every part of me wants to give life a chance.

Then again, the asshole has some stranger in his bedroom right now, so what future could he see with me?

I’m disappointed as hell that he has brought another woman to his bedroom.

Desirae was in my bathroom. I remember moans coming from behind the closed door. I’m pretty sure she got herself off in there after hearing me fooling around with a barfly.

“You? Ethan? The guy who’s always hammering broads till they can’t walk anymore and then kicking them out before they wanna cuddle? Mr. McCoy is telling me he is actually trying to get a woman to stay with him? As in, she doesn’t want anything to do with you, and you’re trying, anyway?”

I loved book one and there are things in this book that I love. I really really wish I could finish this but it is riddled with triggers for me so it very sadly is a DNF for me.

This story was boring. The characters of the H and h fell flat. I just couldn't connect with them.

I hate man-whores. Worse when I have to read about it in explicit detail. Just gross and a huge turn off.

What happened with Desire's sister was over the top. It felt too forced, too brutal, too unexpected. We didn't know anything about her, then she turns up unexpected and acts like a dumb bimbo and then she gets herself killed. Really? Without considering the help of her sister, who has good connections to the local MC? I just couldn't believe that her sister would endanger the h like that. Totally immature and dumb.

The back and forth between H and h. OMG just stop it. Hammer should just grow up and act like a man he's supposed to be. "I love you, but I have to leave you, because I failed you and you're better off without me." This seems to be a fairly common method in romance books right now. But I think it's just plain stupid.

DNF!!

Ok so I am a HUGE MC fan and was super excited to find another MC series. However, I cannot stand that authors think we want to know about previous sexual encounters in vivid detail. I also do not think it’s even remotely ok for the hero to bring home and try to have relations with two different woman while the heroine is living with him. Yes, they might not be in a relationship right now but they want to be and worse, the heroine isn’t even seem upset about it.
I can’t believe this was even classified as romance because all it’s done is make me anxious and unhappy.
I’m just so disappointed.
This is my honest and unbiased review

There are times Hammer could be sarcastic but he also knows when to back down, I just haven't decided if he's doing it sarcastically or not, “oh, baby, you’re all woman; that’s for sure .” He holds up his hands in surrender. “I promise to never question the need for chocolate or impede on your ability to have said chocolate again.” I really enjoyed this book I loved Hammer these MC men sure act tough but they're all lushes at heart for their women.

*Happy sigh*...I have waiting for a year for Hammer and it was WELL worth the wait. Camaron and Lane did not disappoint in this story. I actually think they kicked the volume WAY up in this one with Hammer and Desirae. This story was intense and sexy and sexily intense (if that even makes sense :) ). Although I do declare Hammer as my new book boyfriend, he does have moments that will make you want to kick him...then kiss him. The beginning of the story starts out with a gripping introduction and doesn't let go until the very end.

If you enjoy a different type of MC romance, then definitely add this series to your TBR list.

Hammer, the second in the Regulators MC Series, has taken a long time to get here. Ice, the first in the series came out in 2014, and at the end, Hammer was in a wheelchair due to a massive injury during an op. Since then, I’ve wondered about Hammer and even periodically checked to see if I missed any new releases in the series. Unfortunately, after all this time the book ended up being just okay for me.

I guess since it’s been awhile, the author thought we’d need to go back over what happened to put him in the wheelchair. This meant a big chunk of time was spent going over ground already covered which made me seriously regret re-reading Ice. Because of the rehash of events, Hammer and Des don’t even meet until the 37% mark. To add to it, the timelines didn’t quite match up which is like nails on the chalkboard for me.

Des’ story is a sad one. Losing her sister who’s also her best friend, then having to leave everything behind because of her sister’s poor choices would be a hard pill for anyone to swallow. It’s good that Des’ adopted family is the Hellions and through their relationship with the Regulator’s she has a safe place to go to while in hiding. Des is a physical therapist and Hammer is in desperate need of one which gives Des the perfect place to go and she has something to do while she’s there.

Hammer is in a full alpha male temper tantrum because he’s in his chair. I did crack up at Hammer learning the hard way it’s not smart to piss off your physical therapist. Unfortunately, this book spent most of the time spinning it’s wheels while Hammer whined, pouted and drank.

Because of the close quarters, we do get an almost slow burn romance feel while Des and Hammer actually work together to help him heal. I liked them becoming friends and learning to laugh together before hitting the sheets. There was lots of smolder to get you through to the “finale”. I chose to ignore the club whore interludes during this time, not that they did Hammer any good.

I’m glad I got to see Des and Hammer get together, but I can’t say I’m satisfied after such a long wait for their story.

Ice (Regulators MC #1) was a favorite of mine so I was looking forward to Hammer. Wow...This story was so much more than I expected. I absolutely LOVED Hammer and Desirae. What Hammer did for Desirae in the epilogue just about killed me!! If I wasn't already totally in love with him that would have definitely won me over. I just love a badass with a warm gooey center!! lol ;) Hammer is definitely at the top of my book boyfriend list. I loved seeing Tank and Sass again and Evan was a great addition ~ he was so funny with Hammer. I'm looking forward to reading Coal next. Can't wait to find out what his story is all about and who his heroine turns out to be.

4, It's Hammer Time stars

Another great addition to this already sexy MC series!

I loved the fact that Des gave as good as she got and never backed downed, no matter what! I loved the interaction between the both of them, it was super charged and funny to booth.

A few questions left unanswered and the ending was a little rushed. But overall I really enjoyed Desirae and Hammer's story.

Looking forward to Coal's book...while reading Hammer, all I could think was about was what was up with him not liking Woman touching him! Very strange but intriguing.

I loved the first book and was really looking forward to this one. Unfortunately it just didn't live up to my expectations. The sex scenes with the H in the beginning were gross (and not just because they weren't with the h. All of those scenes happened before the H and h were together so it wasn't considered cheating) and I just couldn't connect with either of the H/h.

While this was also a great read, it didn't have the same impact on me as the first.
I enjoyed the reality of the story once more, it is great to have that element of realism in the romance element as a change up from the usual.
The struggle for Hammer after his accident was humbling and gave the reason for his grumpiness to the forefront. Desirea was the perfect mixture of pleasant while still not being a pushover!
I felt the family unit of the bikers wasn't as prominent in this one, I missed that element a bit.

Rounded down from 2.5
The first book in the series was much better. This one was just dripping with misogyny in an unappealing way, and despite being written by two women, felt like it was written by a man imagining what women like.

Hammer by Chelsea Camaron and Jessie Lane
I received this book from the author for an honest review.
Oh Hammer you a$$hat. Oh Des you saint. I mean to be able to deal with him….but thankfully Tank was able to help get you hardened (not in a bad or naughty way) to the biker life.
Hammer is a hard and cold guy. He will not fall for anyone. He is going to be an island. He is going to live life doing what he wants and looking out for his needs. PERIOD. Woman are a hole for a night but that is about it. A warm body for comfort for a few hours but that is it. He thinks its great Ice found Morgan but love is not in the cards for him.
Des has been through one heck of a nightmare. Her sister visits and she witnesses her being brutally murdered. The Hellions come to the rescue and help protect her. She is part of their extended family because she was Tank’s therapist after his coma. She needs to escape and so they hook her up with the Regulators. They have a BAMF who needs his butt whipped back in to shape after a mission goes wrong.
Hammer sees Des and is giving her a “full salute” but then thinks he sees pity in her eyes. He is done being nice for all of 3 seconds when Jacka$$ kicks back in. Des is stunned stupid by the God like man in front of her but is quick to remember this is a job. She must remain professional.
The banter and chemistry are great. I love that Des gives it right back at Hammer especially after hearing him with a barfly one night. When Hammer realizes she is the one for him….she becomes Mission Priority for this ex secret op’s guy. Keeping her safe and mending her heart is priority number 1. When the bad guys find Des, Hammer flips. First because she isn’t safe and then because he couldn’t keep her safe.
Loved the guys pushing Hammer to open his eyes and especially the fact that cold, scary, killer looking guy Coal is the one who finally made the point to Hammer that Des is the one he needs in his life. SO operation Get Her Back is formed!!!
I am telling you…Coal is a scary guy but man do I wanna know his story!!

Oh how I've missed these two authors writing together. Hammer finally give us the second installment of the Regulators MC series but its also a mix of Camaron's Hellion series and Lane's Ex Ops series.

Since its been a while since Ice's book I was glad the first ¼ of the book was backstory for not only Hammer who at last we saw him was in bad shape from a mission and was confined to a wheel chair but also for Desirae who was the physical therapist who helped Tank recover in his book (Hellions MC series).

Hammer was a broken on the outside and wasnt dealing with not being a man (in his eyes) any more. Desirae was a woman broken on the inside from seeing the gruesome death of her sister. They are put together for Des to get Hammer's body back in working form and to keep her safe from the men who killed her sister but turns out together they are emotionally the healing factor the other needs to get over their past traumas.

I always love reading other reviews when I've read a book that has a shocking scene in it and boy does this one have one (its before the H and h meet so no cheating). Hammer was something else before he was tamed by Desirea...

One of my absolute favorite things is how these authors inter mix their series together and we get to continue to see previous characters plus we always get a glimpse of a future characters story. After reading this book yes I want Coal's story but I am also looking forward to Lucas Young story which will be part of Lane's Ex Ops series.

3.75 "It's Hammer Time" stars.........d:)

I wish we could rate with half stars. I was really looking forward to Hammer's book and I have to say I'm a little disappointed. Approximately the first 40% of the book was about their lives prior to them meeting. I realize CC and JL were trying to create a backstory and mesh characters from CC's Hellions series into the Regulators, but it took so much of the book that we really didn't get to spend much time with them as a couple. Additionally, the authors told us how their relationship progressed rather than letting us see it for ourselves. Considering Hammer was a rough tough SAA I anticipated he wouldn't be too happy about being in a wheelchair, but I have to say, his whole "I'm not a man, I'm a broke-a$$ cripple" macho a-hole pity party thing made me want to smack him upside the head. I mean c'mon, it's not like he was paralyzed, he just needed extensive PT. Which I might add.... when that eventual dramatic event that authors like to use came..... he went from barely being able to walk and falling down the steps to somehow participating in a mission.... go figure. Also, be prepared to brace for more eye rolling stupid macho behavior after that as well. On a positive note, I liked Des, she was feisty and didn't take crap from anyone and it was nice to see Hammer's relationship with his brother. The book was ok but I wanted more time with them as a couple and watching them fall in love. Try it, you might like it......d:)

I love these Regulators MC boys...they are not only bikers but they all have strong military backgrounds which is what gives them all a stealthier, more bad-boy edge to them.
This book is about "brothers"...both by blood as well as by choice...brothers-in-arms, brother-by-blood and their tumultuous but loving relationships. They will always have each other's backs no matter what happens or how angry they get with each other.
Des is a strong woman who is dealing with personal tragedy and because of a need to "get lost" for a while, she is thrown into the world of Ethan "Hammer", a biker dealing with an injury that has him confined to a bed and then wheelchair for months. Their struggle both to heal and survive their enemies puts them into a situation neither one of them was emotionally prepared for.
I loved the witty and sexually playful banter between them, the action between the clubs working together was exciting and the danger intense. One of my favorite books so far and an awesome collaboration between two really good writers.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Warning: contains a spoiler

I really enjoyed this book, it was a little different to Ice (the first book in the series) but not in a bad way. I liked the start of the book and although part of it was horrifying (not overly graphic, it was more the thought) it was a really interesting start and quite different to a lot of books. It wasn't until the 37% mark of the book that Hammer and Des actually meet which would usually have me not too happy but I really enjoyed the staging for the rest of the book - another warning is the book finishes at the 86% and then there are excerpt chapters for other books. So even though the book wasn't particularly long (my only complaint with the book) I thought the development of Hammer and Des's relationship was great and I liked the drama. Spoiler ahead not too major though - Just a warning for those who don't like to see the main characters with other people Hammer is featured with several women through out the book including after they had meet but not after they were together.

I freaking loved this story. So why only 4 stars.... I really didn't need the scenes to let us know the man whore Hammer was. It always brings my hero down a bit.

But other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Desirae is a great female character. She knows when she needs help and she reaches for it. There are no TSTL situations. Once Hammer (Ethan) gets his head out of his ass he goes full steam ahead.

The family visit near the end...had me tearing up.

A shout out to the authors...I've said this before with Chelsea's books, thanks for introducing other books and authors at the end.

I very much enjoyed this book. The characters, Hammer and Desirae drew me totally into the story. She's on the run and he's recovering from a crippling accident. There's a slow build and a real feeling of love between the two. I also enjoyed book one in this series, Ice (Regulators MC, #1) by Chelsea Camaron . Now I'm moving on to book 3 in the series.

Another good book by Camaron. At first I didn't like Hammer himself not the book but later I liked him. I am still not sure if he will be a dog later on. But this book has lots of drama and romance and sex. And Its always nice to read to previous couples from other books. Can't wait for the next one.
