Demi stormed into my diner, nearly tore me apart, and then stomped away.

One look at that hissing little kitty and it felt like my heart was actually beating for the very first time.

Locking down the single mom wouldn’t be an easy task. She was already beaten and bruised from a past that continued to chase her.

But I was going to prove to her that she could trust me with her heart.

outstanding

This is so what I needed today. I needed a book I could lose all day to day stuff with today. This one met all my expectations. This is a “new to me” author and I am looking forward to reading all the books in this series while hoping all are just as good as this one. This story is about an abused woman and her child hiding from her ex boyfriend and his social climbing parents. No actual scenes of the abuse. There are some scenes of PTSD being triggered, so we get the jest of what she endured. She meets her Kingston and finally gets to know love. It’s a great read. Highly recommend.

Just okay. I was honestly pretty bored throughout this book. There wasn’t any emotional work done to actually build a relationship. It was just basically they saw each other and then they loved each other. Nothing else. Kingston (the hero) is in an MC but that is not central to the story at all. It is basically just mentioned like once. Demi is running from her abusive ex but there is no suspense there either. It honestly didn’t really make sense to write this story. There was no plot, suspense, relationship building, or really anything.

I don’t recommend. I don’t think I would read again.

excellent

Demi is in the run with her little girl from her ex and his parents. She has been so beaten down, she is afraid of her own shadow, but she has a temper. Lots of twists and turns. Everyone needs to read this!

Loved it

I love seeing this next generation of Hannigan men act just like their fathers, soft for the ones they love but lethal to those who threaten those they love. I loved watching Kingston bring Demi back to life and love Iris like his own.

Insta love with a DV theme and with a biker MMC.
The FMC is a single mama with a toddler white à DV trauma.
I’m not a fan of insta love stories so I couldn’t really get into the whole story.
I read it but I won’t recommend it as I found it blend!

What a book this was. Had it finished very quickly. What a little darling Iris is. I just loved her antics, certainly put a smile on my face.

Loved It

Loved it and couldn't put it down - I love that he gave her the chance to end her abuser and the tools to move on past it, along with the love and guidance she needed.

build up

Don’t get me wrong it was a good book but I felt like the story was rushed. Boy instantly get girl, girl moves in, girl’s pregnant and the end. Not much to the story line.

Another great story. Nothing like a sweet baby to bring a family together. And everyone gets their happily ever after
