About the author

Anya Bast is the author of numerous works of romantic fiction, mostly all paranormal and mostly all scorching hot. She lives in the country with her husband, daughter, eight cats, a dog, and an odd assortment of rescued animals.

She grew up in Minnesota and still favors the colder climates. After high school she moved to the southeast United States where she attended college. While in graduate school she sold her first book and decide to pursue her lifelong dream of writing instead of a career in psychology.

Somewhat reclusive by nature, she can be drawn out with a good bottle of red wine, classic movies, or good music. This is the last book and last sister

I absolutely love Caroline's story. it is filled with many obstacles and it is sad. I had to hold my breath and read through to see how it ends for Caroline and Torrent. this book will put you on an emotional rollercoaster.

The title of the book may have been Capturing Caroline, but there was nothing capturing about this book; how ironic. The main characters seemed flat and one dimensional. I understand the painful position that Caroline was supposed to be in but she seemed very childish. I could not see why this this peculiar mating - where there's a relationship of two and not three- was so special. There was no love, no chemistry, no passion, there was nothing. Caroline demonstrated no traits of being a leader as I would expect from the supposed mate of an alpha. Actually Caroline demonstrated no personality at all. ~sigh~ I could say the same about Torrent. He seemed more interesting in the previous books.

Everything was terribly rushed.

I was really looking forward to this book. It started out as I expected but then it sort of ran out of steam for me. The hopelessness of the prophecy was too weighty. Then when things started to play out it all moved too fast and parts felt incomplete. I am sorry to say that I was disappointed.
