Yes! A Book That Understands My Brain!

I’ve read more “get organized” books than I can count, but ADHD Organization and Cleaning is the first one that resonates, offering realistic and compassionate strategies that fit the way an ADHD brain works.
Everything feels doable. The author doesn’t expect you to overhaul your house in a weekend. Start with one tiny task, build momentum, and celebrate progress rather than perfection.
The step-by-step routines, visual reminders, and “calm zone” concept help you manage clutter without burnout.
The checklists and short, focused sections make it easy to dip in and out when your attention wavers.
If you’ve ever felt defeated by mess or frustrated by rigid advice that doesn’t match your brain’s wiring, this book will change your approach. It’s a mindset shift toward self-compassion, structure, and calm.
Recommended for anyone with ADHD (or anyone who lives with someone who has it!).

Helpful and Easy for Follow

This book gave me simple, clear tips for organizing my space and routines with ADHD. I liked the color coding ideas, the checklists, and how it breaks things down step by step. It feels encouraging and not overwhelming.

The routines are easy to start, and the decluttering tips really helped me focus on what matters. I also appreciated that it doesn’t try to “fix” ADHD, but works with it. Great for anyone who wants less chaos and more calm in their day. Worth the read….

Finally something that actually works for my son

My adult son has ADHD and has struggled with mess and disorganization his whole life. We’ve tried so many books and systems, but nothing stuck until this one. It’s written in a way that makes sense for how his brain works, with simple steps and no judgment. He’s finally keeping his space clean and organized, and he feels proud of it. Highly recommend for anyone who’s felt stuck or overwhelmed by clutter.

Some of the tips given are fairly practical. You can tell that the author has an understanding of ADHD. Some generic advice here and there (e.g. not everyone is receptive to visual stimuli), but overall an easy read. Each chapter is really short so it's less daunting for an individual impacted by ADHD.
