A continuation of A Witch’s Plea, but from 2 other characters standpoints?! I wasn’t ready for that but I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED.
Just like Cami from A Witch’s Plea, her twin sister, Lanie, is also a Benoit witch. And she’s been suppressing her magic ever since Lanie had left without anyone knowing why. Leave it to a Duke of Hell, Asmodeus, to recharge her in the best was a Duke in charge of lust would.
Just like last novella, there is as much plot as there is spice, tension, and burn, and I absolutely love it!
I cannot wait for book 3! 🥰

This novella starts a bit after the end of the first one. and is from the prospective of her sister. it was really good. I can't wait for the last one to be released!!

Sultry, sweet and fast burn. This time the story follows Lanie, Camille's twin sister. We see her continued mourning for her sister's loss, and her conflict at not using her magic. Luckily she has a duke of hell as a hidden guardian, and he steps in just when he's needed.
Asmo is a fun character, and I enjoyed his protectiveness over Lanie. They make a sweet pair and the spicy scenes hit just right.
Can't wait for the finale part!

A Witch’s Touch
This is the second book in the Hellbound Hearts series… it is the story of Asmo and Lanie. If you read book one you know they are the siblings of Ash and Camile.
The story continues with them. You instantly fall in love with them. This novella is beautifully written, I loved the world and the magic and everything in between. The spice is 🥵🥵🥵 Deanna Hill’s book are an instant buy for me and I love what ever she writes. She has a way of making an amazing plot that strings you on with characters to fall for. If you haven’t picked up one of her books I advise you do. Can’t wait to have this book on my shelf. I loved every minute of it, and can’t wait for more🥹🥹

As with book one of this trilogy - I am left craving more. Not because the story lacked - but because it was so good! This one ends on more of a cliffhanger - but knowing book three will be out in October means we won’t have to wait long to figure out what’s next for Camile and Lanie.
Once again DeAnna provides some rich depth in the plot along with some solid character building, and topping it with some spicy spice and swoony passion. I might even be crushin’ on this Asmo more than Ash! I am so excited to continue this journey through Hell and am anxious to see what happens when we get back to New Orleans in a Witch’s Reign!

Better and even better. After Camile and Ash’s story now we get to meet her twin sister, Lanie and I couldn’t be happier !!! While Camile’s story was more an enemies to lovers one full of tension and daggers to the throat kind of scenes (literally), this one felt gentler somehow but still fused with the inevitable truth that it is still dark and with a witch, slowly unveiling her powers and a demon who falls in love with her !!! I loved it. Loved it. Loved it. And the great thing is, it’s still such a fun and fast read !!! I feel like I’ll be binging the entire trilogy in less than a couple of hours !!! And the spicy moments between Lanie and Asmo … hot damn !!!! When you ask for a man to fall first and the hardest … be sure that that man is not a Duke of hell !!! Because they know what they are doing !!! I loved it. I loved it so much that I will dive into book three right away because I can’t stop !!!

This was an exciting, climactic, and doubly sultry novella, packed with the perfect amount of description, character arcs, and plot, even with the limited space required for a novella-length project. I expect nothing less of the supremely talented DeAnna Hill.
We are introduced to two new and enigmatic characters in the second book in the Hellbound Hearts Series–adorably clumsy and grieving witch, Lanie, who does not know her own strength; and Asmo, a Duke of Hell who is eclipsed in some ways by his brothers. The setting is New Orleans–an exciting change of pace that had me eager to discover more about Lanie's world.
Lanie and Asmo's tale was so captivating–and the plot twists were incredible! I can't wait for the next book in the series!

A Witch's Touch follows Asmo and Lanie, siblings to Ash and Camile who we met in book one. Lanie has refused to use her magic ever since her sister Camile went missing, that is until the Duke of Lust, Asmo sparks something inside of her. Asmo was tasked with keeping an eye on Lanie and staying in the shadows, but he cant deny how he is drawn to her and cant help but intervene when he finds her in trouble. They two were definitely steamy, but what else would expect from a Duke of Lust.
I cant wait to see how DeAnna ties in these two couples in book three. Also I need to know what will happen with the girls mom.

I loved every minute of it! Deanna packs a punch in just over 100 pages. Lanie discovers not all its as it seems. She's spent the last year abandoning her magic while grieving her sister for nothing. I loved Asmo, silently watching until she needed him. They make a good pairing.

Just like the last book this book was fast paced and delicious!! The Dukes of Hell are seriously top tier.
As usual it’s just so well written it draws you in, you feel like you’ve just read a 700 novel at the end of it. Such details shoved into a novella is amazing.
I’m going to need book 3… ASAP! We neeeeeed to see more about the last Duke and Eve 🤤. Would tie the series in a nice little bow!
