Absolutely love this freaking book. Big shoutout to Granger for giving her readers an update of things happening over the break. Parts one and part 2 were nothing short of her usual wonderful writing. Love how Ahsa is maturing, becoming more open, and finally growing into what she was born to be. While this book is titled ‘Asha’, it’s not only about her. There are POVs of the familiar characters as well as introductions to new characters. I feel like the plot is one that will add on to the fourth book of the Drew Collin’s series.. Definitely would recommend this book..I just wish it were longer like the Drew Collin’s series lol
This was soooooo good. The story development and world building and overall concept of this book was phenomenal per usual. I can’t wait for school to be back in session so we can get book 4!!!
*SPOILERS* Asha was already my girl but now even more so. This may be my favorite Drew Collins book and I need more. I love that Granger exposed us to more parts of the underground. I have so many questions. We already knew Crystal city existed with the Queen but there’s a Kingdom too! There’s more Taluwi! I was so excited for Asha not to be alone just for none of them to really hang out and I completely lost my focus when it came to them. But maybe that’s a Taluwi trait? They all seem to move on their own. I agree with Jean, DCU not teaching Asha enough for me, but she rarely goes to class. This has my mind spinning. I think the Taluwi were killed for a reason, a much bigger reason, a power reason. I almost don’t like Solo because he knows a lot more than he lets on and I feel like he keeps Asha close just to make sure she doesn’t catch on. We’re so caught up in Maggie it seems Asha might have supreme power in the underground too. It makes sense that they tried to make her lose her scholarship, her legacy status, Asha finding her power threatens the first family power structure. Then there’s Silas. New book boyfriend unlocked! Fine and nerdy and stays out the way! I already loved Silas for Asha, the calm to her storm, but he’s the OG triton! Everything makes sense. Asha never gravitated to Solo because he isn’t naturally a Triton, they were never end game. I can’t believe this book isn’t out to the general public like the others because it closes so many gaps. All the cultural divide of Nymphs and Sirens just to find out it seems a nymph and siren offspring seems to create tritons, possibly. Selah meeting Quan was not by chance they are end game and so is Solo and Isis. Ugh I loved this book.

I enjoyed this read and I need more. I need Solo to wake up and get a back bone. Solo mom is just sneaky and evil. I need more of Asha, Silas, Isis, Zeke and Solomon. Quan really lost sight of the goal which is so disappointing. I don’t trust the Jamilla girl it’s just something about her. I need Asha to actually tap into herself. Her wanting to be human so bad is aggravating 😩😩😩. I’m starting to feel like the sirens are the real evil family.
I kept saying I don't need to read winter break... Maaannn!!! The fact this is a "draft" & was so good truly shows the awesomeness of this author. I feel like I just caught up with my peoples on FaceTime lol. Running to part 2!
Love love love. Love love love! I love how we got to see Asha mature in this book and it really gave Isis a lot more personality, but I still have so many questions!!!
I can’t say this one was my favorite. I love that Asha knows herself now and has come into her calling. I also love that she found her mate, although I’m sure she doesn’t know that’s who he is to her. I feel bad for Isis. I’m sorry, but Asha was NOT a good friend to her throughout the book. She seemed so boy-crazed. I think I like the idea of Isis and Zeke. Silas is the calm that Asha needed, I believe. I wonder what Souxie got going on now man… that girl always into something. Will there be a post 3? The way that one ended, I would think there definitely needs to be a part 3… I guess we’ll see.
