He completed a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Dallas with the thesis “Thomas Aquinas on Natural Law and the Twofold Beatitude of Humanity.”

Dr. Taylor Marshall masterfully lays out the challenges facing Christians and our nation in the first five chapters. What stands out most is his ability to weave together detailed descriptions of how the founding fathers established this country on Christian principles. His research is thorough, and his references are meticulously chosen to support his reasoning, demonstrating his passion for truth.
Transitioning from diagnosis to solution, the next twelve chapters of his book offer a series of strategies aimed at restoring our culture. Most of his action items were very practical; while a few may seem ambitious and unattainable. The chapters on pornography/child trafficking and how he connected that to the increased murder rates blew my mind. I mean he was quoting Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer...💥

This is a very good book. It summarizes a lot of what I have seen in other places for how to better society and Christianize it. That’s also why I can’t rate it five stars: it lacks originality and holds little surprises to a reader who has been studying societal problems. The most interesting parts for me were reading about how other countries try to increase their birth rate and the section on the Apostles’ Creed.
However, if you are more apolitical, this book may well hold a lot of surprises for you. As I said, it provides an excellent summary of the means people have proposed to institute the Social Kingship of Christ. I hope that it gains a wide readership.

We are living in a time unlike any other. Can we look for the silver lining when things seem dreary? Sure. But let's be honest. Evil has a death grip on our society right now. How did we get here? Well, in many cases....good men did nothing. It's that simple. All evil needs to succeed is for good men to do nothing. Mind your own business, be passive, don't cause a scene, don't rock the boat, stay under the radar....and here we are. We have all heard about gateway drugs leading to hard core addictions. Just a little bit won't hurt, right? Go on, have some fun! No one will find out. Ah, but a taste of one thing leads to feasting on another. The small things add up. They become "normal" and they lay the stones on the path to a broken society.
Not all that long ago, we lived in a country where prayer was part of everyday life, where the NYC skyline was lit with crosses to honor Good Friday and Easter. Christianity was a defining characteristic of who we were. But all of that changed - bit by bit, until we became unrecognizable. How did we get from here to there? We decided we were too busy to actively love God. We started living for today "Seize the moment!" instead of living for eternity. We stopped prioritizing faith in our families. We started tolerating opposing ideas. We redefined marriage, and education. We found ways to rationalize things like no fault divorce, contraception, abortion, and allowing others to make decisions about how we should raise our children. We looked for happiness in all the places that would never deliver it - pornography, materialism, exploitation of others, and justification for violence. If we found the end result we were seeking, we disregarded the means used to get there.
Taylor Marshall did a lot of research in preparing this book. There are numbers in here that will astound you. There are explanations for how one thing led to another that you never could have dreamed up. He uses history and data to explain how a Christian society went lukewarm. The good news is that he also offers practical advice to fix this mess we are in. Some of his suggestions are simple things that any average person can accomplish on their own. Other ideas will take some serious work and even potential legislation to change, but we have to start somewhere. We cannot continue down the path we are on. Our children and grandchildren and future generations can inherit a better world, but we need to act. We need to stop being passive. Good men need to do good things.

In this book, Dr. Taylor Marshall emphasizes the need of our nation to return to it ‘original’ Christian morals. In the first few chapters, he briefly covers the principles integral to our Constitution, and explains how Christian doctrines were the foundation of our society. He then paints the picture of how we, as a nation, have fallen away from our strong religious based moral beginnings, how the “secular religion” has slowly inundated our government and society. He calls it “secular,” I call it satanic evil spirits, and how Christians, Catholic & Protestant, have sat back quietly watching it happen. I was just starting public school when our government decided to abolish God from school, and I remember being more upset than my parents. I remember asking my mother “why are we (Christians) allowing this to happen? I told her, “One of my friends doesn’t have a Bible at home, her parents don’t take her to church; so school is the only time she learns anything about God.” My mother replied, “just pray; God will take care of it.” My response was, “maybe he will, maybe he wont! Maybe he might see Christians are too lazy to fight for Him, so maybe He will just let the devil have them.” She smacked my rear for that backtalk, but it didn’t change how I was feeling about it. I have grew up watching our country slowly drift into a soft totalitarianism, while Christians remained mostly silent. Dr. Marshall explains it well, and his later chapters explains steps Christians must take to save our nation. I pray that all Christians come together, but Christianity in the US has been so infiltrated with false doctrines, I am not sure that is possible. As of now, there are 33K different “Protestant” religions, all claiming to be “the one,” and Rabbi David Touitou, among others, claiming “Islam is the broom of Israel to sweep away Christianity.” IMHO, Christians have to put their differences aside, join together, and fight against the evil that is destroying our country from within, and Dr. Marshall has laid out some good plans in this book.

Dr. Marshall's latest book "Christian Patriot" is what we've been waiting for. Many of us know the culture is in trouble but don't know what to do about. Dr. Marshall as a Catholic philosopher has written previously on how the Church has been attacked, so it was a natural progression to discuss how the country is attacked. I think Dr. Marshall hit the mark with a very thorough explanation of the problem and the solutions. He had considered running for president in 2024, but Christian Patriot might be the next best thing.

This is a must read book for all good will and God fearing Christians who want to recapture back America from the centuries old pagan tyrants. Dr Taylor Marshall had laid out both intricate and practical solutions within individuals, communities and the current government on giving Christ the King his ownership in our lives. Though these foundations may not be easy, but with a collective voice to the higher authorities alongside with a prayerful life, nothing is impossible to make America great again. Congratulations , Dr Taylor Marshall on being role model of a Christian Patriot!

I listened to this on audible and I did buy a signed hardback copy, but gifted it to my Dad for his birthday. I enjoyed this; the sections on the explanations over hot political topics and how they correlated to Catholic teachings was highly beneficial and informative.

This is a fantastic book. Marshall Taylor delivers a high quality description and prescription for what Christian Pariotism would look like. It is biblically oriented and intimately tied to church history and tradition. Every Christian who has an interest in politics should read this book

4 stars because Dr. TM considers schismatics and heretics as Christian. also, America was founded by Protestants — not Catholics. yes it was a Catholic, Cristoforo Colombo, who discovered the land which was inhabited by native pagans, but the United States of America in 1776 was founded by Protestants. however, that doesn't mean we can't turn America into a Catholic Christian nation. before Christ's second coming, there will be a mass conversion from the Jews, Eastern Orthodox, and Protestants. otherwise, this book does encourage all Protestants, Eastern Orthodox, and Catholics to unite against the new world order secular religion and how to navigate and stand firm against the demonic issues in our country, and eventually shape America into a whole-hearted Christian Nation. loved Harrison Butker's compelling introduction as well.
