K.G. McAbee has had a whole bunch of books and well over a hundred short stories published, and she considers some of them quite readable. She writes steampunk, fantasy, science fiction, horror, pulp, Westerns and creature horror. As they say: Write what you know. If you’re into stories with talking trucks, snide demons, cursed gadgets, sarcastic sidekicks—so many sarcastic sidekicks—rampaging gorgonopsids, haunted mesas, and cabbages with subversive agendas, you’ll probably survive her books. And if you’re into Lovecraft, she’s written more Cthulhu stories for various anthologies than you can shake a stick at.

This is the second book in The Witchfinder Wars series. This book starts right where the last one left off, and when you least expect it, in comes more twist to this storyline. Our two young loves can't find a break and now that Anya is back, you think that her and Tommy will get their happily-ever-after. They are in for a surprise because the witchfinders are hot on Anya's trail. Tommy's cousin in this book is even more evil than anyone had expected and he shows us how evil he can be. We find out what really happened to Tommy's parents and even find out more about Anya's. The curse that is in Anya and Tommy's bloodline still keeps them wondering what will happen to them. This storyline keeps growing and growing. Since there are so many things happening in this story, it is impossible to not keep reading it until you are finished. Do not start reading this series at night because you will lose sleep. Loved reading this incredible paranormal story!
