In the deadly underworld where loyalty is currency and betrayal is a death sentence, Feyi "Fire" Adeoye thrives on chaos, destruction, and the pure, unfiltered thrill of the kill. A hotheaded assassin with a fearsome reputation, Fire has never needed an excuse to unleash hell—until now.
When his older brother, Smoke, sends a cryptic SOS text, Fire doesn’t hesitate. 36 hours. A warehouse in Buffalo. Four hostiles. Armenians. That’s all the information he needs. His mission is find Smoke and burn down anyone who stands in his way.
But even Fire knows he can’t do this alone. And there’s only one person outside of Smoke he trusts to watch his back—Symphony Jones.
A fellow assassin with a deadly skillset and an even deadlier grudge, Symphony was once the only woman who could match Fire in both battle and bed. Their past was a dangerous mix of bullets and passion, but when Fire betrayed her for a job, he turned his greatest ally into his most relentless enemy.
Now, she’s the only one who can help him. Not for him—but for Smoke.
As the clock ticks down, Fire gathers a chaotic crew of killers, thieves, and mercenaries to take on an army of Armenian criminals, corrupt cops, and hidden threats lurking in the shadows. In a city about to erupt in violence, Fire and Symphony must navigate their deadly history, unfinished business, and undeniable chemistry to survive.
Because when Fire comes to town, nothing but ashes remain.
The Fire’s Symphony is a high-octane enemies-to-lovers thriller packed with ruthless action, explosive romance, and a colorful cast of dangerous misfits. Betrayal, revenge, and bloodshed are inevitable—but in the end, only one question
Will Fire and Symphony burn together—or burn each other down?
From critically acclaimed author A.A. Lewis, The Fire’s Symphony is a gripping, pulse-pounding ride that will leave readers breathless and begging for more.
Fire definitely came with the fire and with someone that knew how to keep that flame going, steps in Symphony!!!… It was sooo good to see a woman with the skills to her level and not afraid to step or spk on it!!!… This book was goodt and o know that although everyone said they are done, I’m sure someone still wants revenge and will bring them back out with that Smoke and Fire!!!…
The second book was better in my opinion, there was more action and thrill. Fire and Smoke are the perfect duo. Symphony was the cutthroat diva that tied this story perfectly together. I loved how this book ended.
Ohh they done FAAFO!!!!!! His name ain't Fire for no reason..... he don't play about his. I absolutely loved the urgency and loyalty he showed when it came to his brother and Symphony. He left no stone unturned when it came to them... Hot headed with an IDGAF mindset but get it done by any means!
A.A. Lewis is a new-to-me author. After reading and really enjoying her series 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔, I was hungry for more of her work. When she said she was looking for ARC readers for her 𝑺𝒎𝒐𝒌𝒆 & 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒆 series, I knew I had to join her team!
What I really like about A.A. Lewis is that you don’t have to wait months, weeks, or even days for her to complete a series because when book 1 in the series drops, you get the second installment the same day. So, when I was able to get my hands on the entire 𝑺𝒎𝒐𝒌𝒆 & 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒆 series, I tripped over myself trying to get home to read it and I must admit, I was not ready! This series was so much more than I expected, and it was so so so so good!
The 𝑺𝒎𝒐𝒌𝒆 & 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒆 series consists of two books. Book One is 𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐞: 𝐀 𝐇𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐲. Book Two is 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐰: 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲. This series is a crime thriller romance. It is an action-packed series with so many twists and turns and mysterious characters and in the background of all of that, we have two men, who were born into a world of darkness and death where love meant vulnerability. But what happens when they meet two incredible women who are worth dying for? Will they finally decide to leave the dark underworld? Will they choose love over their loyalty to the game?
A.A. Lewis is an incredible writer. Her vivid, descriptive writing style allows the reader to transport themselves into the characters’ world. While reading I felt like I was watching a movie. There was so much going on, which kept me on my toes. I had so much fun reading, and the books were so entertaining, that I just could not put them down. They were really good page-turners. As soon as I finished the first book, I immediately started next one.
I also liked the characters in both stories. Because this is a hitman, crime, mafia type read, the characters are far from angels but as a reader, you are able to understand why they make the decisions they make, and though flawed, we get real characters that are very relatable. The female characters, Melody and Symphony were strong FMCs who I really liked (Symphony being my favorite overall character in the series) and the male characters, Smoke and Fire, were the ultimate protectors of their women. I also really loved the relationship between the brothers and how they stood tens toes down for each other, putting their lives on the line not only for their women but for each other.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable series that I highly recommend. If you are looking for an intricate, thrilling, mysterious series with some romance and spice, this is the series for you. I have really been enjoying A.A. Lewis’ work lately and I look forward to reading more from her in the future.
Where there's Smoke, there's Fire. First off... 1. The cover is beautiful. 👌🏾 2. The visuals of the characters are gorgeous.😍 3. The title played its part in this story.❤️
🎬This is an action-packed story with romance, betrayal, secrets, and so much more. Trust me you will finish this book in one sitting.
Fire can be proactive, but he's also reactive. In the world that he lives, it's best to be proactive. When situations take a turn, you should already have a backup plan or work together to come up with a plan. Fire...no so much. I understand why he wasn't at times and I was here for it. Sometimes you have to do what has to be done.
Fire and storm together are double trouble. They went in to do what had to be done. Kill or to be killed. Being killed was not an option for them.
Fire and Symphony, I need to know more about the two of you. Symphony was a mystery until she wasn't. What had been done to her in the past was awful. She was a top-notch assassin. She played no games. When Fire and Symphony came together there was chaos, which you find out why later in the story.
Remember your past will catch up with you at some point in your life.
I am happy with the way this book ended, but I know there's more to the story.
I am recommending this book to you. You will love it.
Okay! We see you Fire! This man does not play bout his brother, at all! He was coming for any and everyone who harmed him, and ready to burn it all to the ground. I wasn’t sure how this would play out when he received the SOS from Smoke, but he put a team together quick, and let this war begin!
Then there was Symphony, the one who got away. She would assist him for Smoke but wanted nothing to do with Fire on any other level. Or so she says. These two together were perfection during battle, moving in sync while taking out the enemy. But once the action was over, they were at each other’s necks. Fire was a hot head, moving on emotion and not thinking things through before execution. Symphony was precise, planned everything to a T, so they butt heads. But the chemistry was still smoking!
I was a bit surprised at who was pulling the strings behind it all, making me wonder is this it, or are there still loose ends? Hmmmm… Another action packed read that I enjoyed. 👍🏾👍🏾
Fire was off the hook. I love his personality and was willing to do anything for the people he loves. I knew A A Lewis would bring it on after Smoke cliffhanger. Fire had to come save his brother and realize he was in love with Symphony . He was willing to go to any lengths to get his brother back and help him save his girl. The best parts were when they came together and did what they were taught. I love how they had people willing to help them no matter what. Smoke and Fire were able to get their women and move away in the end. I laugh, was on the edge of my seat, and couldn't put the phone down. A A Lewis did her thing with these two books. I have the book box, but I am willing to read them again.
Fire is the little brother that has made a deal with his older brother smoke they can’t be in the same city unless it life or death and smoke has let the alarms go off . Like their say were their smoke their fire. His mission is to fine his big bro and burn everything else out of his path. Symphony Jones was a fellow assassin that could help fire find his brothers he would do anything for his older brother but can they really play nice.fire was the crazy brother but I feel like him and symphony had a thing but never really went anywhere . It was a lot going on with smoke and melody being kidnapped and fire and symphony have to work together I can say A.A Lewis knows what she wrote with these two brothers.
Wow! The Outlaw Fire’s Symphony by A.A. Lewis absolutely blew me away. This is one of those rare novels that grabs you by the soul from the very first page and refuses to let go. Every scene feels alive, crackling with tension and heart. But what truly sets this book apart is the writing itself: bold, immersive, and breathtakingly beautiful. Lewis manages to craft sentences that feel like music, blending danger, hope, rebellion, and raw humanity into a story that lingers long after the final page.
book 2 to me was definitely better than the first more action the twist and turns definitely kept me on my toes Fire was definitely a hot head he gave off little brother energy this was good like I said about the first book it was like reading a movie I definitely see this on screen both books.
AA's pen is evolving beautifully. And this is the goal of any crafts person... the goal of any being on the planet... EVOLUTION! Excellent storytelling and smooth prose that gets better and better with each book!
About this two book series- Smoke and Fire. Nuff said.📚💨🔥🎉
Book 1 was good but Smoke and Fire together were everything. When you add Symphony to the mix nothing was stopping them. Good series, a lot of action and some romance. Good read would recommend
Two brothers born into the life of living on the edge being a hitman. But life has a funny way of throwing you a curve ball and make you reflect. I enjoyed the journey these brothers were on especially when meeting their women.
This read didn’t disappoint with the action and suspense. It started off with drama and it didn’t let up until the end. When Smoke & Fire set out on a mission, bodies are sure to drop.
Smoke sent up the bat signal and Fire came running with reinforcements. Book 2 was just as action packed as book 1 with a couple of twists that I didn’t see coming. I enjoyed reading about Fire and his crew. The tension between he and Symphony was thick!! For very valid reasons btw.
ARC READ!!! This story gives the point of view of how the life of a hitman is not all glorious and without casualties and consequences. There may not be a happy ending with this lifestyle. They may never fall in love, have children, and sometimes have to give up family to keep all safe. Symphony is a way better MFC than Melody to me. Now the situation Melody goes through is so unfortunate and she will never be the same person again. I like how she’s a part of the story but not the focus in this book. Symphony is a bad B fr. Love me some her. This story finishes the jobs of eliminating all current and hopefully future threats. I highly recommend this book.
