The Intern

Rate this book
Eren Yeager/Levi. 399,477 words.
Armin was convinced that it was the opportunity of a lifetime, but Eren just saw it as just another chance to fail. Nothing good could possibly come out of an internship in a stuffy office at Survey Corporation. Eren would have been content to sit and watch the remainder of his senior year pass him by. However, after one elevator trip, Eren finds himself questioning everything he thought he knew about life and himself.

I have read this 10 + times and I always come back year after year to read again. It’s such a great fan fic and I adore it and can’t wait to read next year.

A toxic fic, so I cannot fathom giving it good ratings, erwin and levi relationship was not healthy, the way levi with eren started was also not good, Armin and erwin? the age difference? h0rmonal teens or some fujoshi being into these type of things shocks me, I like my fair share of otp and fics as a fujoshi myself, but never this type emotionally abusing one, sorry not sorry, just my opinion.

Would i recomend reading this book? Definetly! but with the side note that you do read the triggers before, as it can be quite shocky to some. But if you don't mind, you definitely won't regret it

When you read a fanfic, the first thing you often are faced with is that it is written by someone that writes it because they love the series the write about. Resulting in lots of mistakes, no real solid storyline and hoping that there will be an ending written. Now, you also expect this when you read fanfic, so its something you can look through. This however, this felt like I was reading a book that was fully published and sold with a hardcover even. The reading was soo smooth, the storyline was so well written, and, even if you would not know attach on titan, you would still be able to enjoy the storyline with little problems.

I read this story when I was around 13 and loved it. But, like most things, you forget about it and years later, you question to what happened to the book you were reading. Well, after some searching I found this gem back again! And really, it is a gem. Now yes, it does talk about big age gabs, taking advantage of 18 year old's (if not 17) and some other heavy stuff. But, when reading it, it all make sense. The view of levi, a grump adult managing his two lives. Erwin who is the Captain America, with a hidden agenda, or maybe not, and eren, mikasa and armin, all having their own troubles, while also navigating adulthood. And yes, I won't deny that the topics were sometimes really showing toxic behavior and the trigger warnings are needed, but if you can handle all that, you really wont regret reading it. Because, the book really pulls you in, making you want to read everything in one go. And even with the book being around 350k words, it feels like its just a normal 300 page book that you can read in one go (but please don't try it)
