Caelius is a young man with oodles of old-fashioned charm. It is not just because he is still learning the 'slang' but because this is who he is. And I don't have a single complaint about that, let me tell you!

Rhia is an 'older' lady who can certainly feel like time is creeping not so slowly up on her but can't resist Caelius when he wants to get to know her, simply because of how drawn she is to him.

If, for some reason, you think that reading about an older lady with a young man will make you uncomfortable then let me reassure you. You notice it at the beginning, mainly because Rhia makes a big deal about it when Caelius asks her out for a coffee (psst, love the reactions of the old ladies next to them!!). But you will soon be carried away by the story and hoping and wishing for certain things to be different. And no, I'm not going to be giving away spoilers here. Suffice it to say, I was heartbroken during one part of the book and my eyes were leaking again.

Not only do we have Caelius and Rhia's story here though but we also have the continuation of Ulixes and Kallon. My god, I wanted to bash their heads together! I felt just as exasperated as some of the other characters but was completely unprepared for the emotional whallop their story gave me. Yep, you've guessed it, my eyes were leaking during this part too so consider this fair warning!

Old friends and family (well they feel like that to me anyway!) show up at various points and I am always happy to read about them. Nothing detracts from the main storylines though, just perfect cameo additions.

This series just keeps on getting better and better and I LOVE IT!!! Highly recommended for all fans of Celeste Prater, the Fueled by Lust series and/or erotic Sci-Fi! Absolutely fantastic! The snippet for Maxim already has me drooling and holding my breath - don't worry, Celeste, I promise to keep on breathing but I need to know more about this lady with the triple moon tattoo who knocks Maxim off his feet!

Id give it 4.5 stars!!!

I love this whole series, I'm always anxious to grab the next one. I just enjoy Ms. Praters talent in writing stories. Her ability to write a character that will hang around in your mind, is just awesome.
This particular story was different only in the fact that it had dual stories in them, still easy to read
and follow.
Caelius is one of the younger dancers in the Insedi group, he has kind of a wanderlust going. He is more than anxious to find his mate. He thinks he has met her in a cooking class he attends. Rhia is a 40 something woman that has plans to open her own cooking school, so she is going to a beginning class to kind of get her feet wet. When she meets Caelius of course he is epitome of a sexy male, huge and cut. When he tries to flirt with her she is quick to let him know her 40 something body is way too old for his early 20 something.

Also

Everyone else can see that Kallen and Ulixes have feelings for each other. Kallen doctor and of course a Insedi male (which I've always adored) he has always able to help others in their time of need. Whether it was medical of mindful. So why is it he cant seem to tied down the sexy “adopted” Insedi warrior. Ulixes has some shadows on his soul, he is guilt ridden and that has him pushing Kallen away. He is so set on believing he is damaged, his tragic and hurtful pass wont let him go. Because of that he tries his best to give Kallen the cold shoulder.

What will it take for these four people to come together? We all know how fate works. Past can cause Irreparable damage if allowed to fester. How many times can one be pushed away and give up hope? Of course there is the whole age matters thing, when you're in love does the numbers really matter? Oh oh and lets not forget the stalker, we have a dose of cra cra with a twist. So now you have a amazing story to sink your teeth into. The fun, the mmm hot and sexy scenes. The family and friendships of old characters and new ones.
Of course Id recommend this book. Is it a stand alone...well being book 5 it would be a bit of a challenge, you could but it has old characters and some background that you would miss. So Id say read the others first. It would be well worth your time to read in order to get the amazing story of the Insedi family. Thank you Celeste for the wonderful experience. Enjoy

Usually I write a little bit of a blurb, but for this one, I'm jumping straight in!

LOVED IT!! I'm done. Nah, not really, so here goes.

Caelius, who we met briefly in a previous book, has been on earth for 6 months and attends a cooking class, where he meets Rhia. Rhia is older, by 22 years, and fights against her attraction to Caelius with every inch of her being. BUT Caelius is not going to give up, and once he has her, he doesn't want to let go. However his neckalce doesn't react to Rhia and Caelius runs away, thinking thats whats best for them both. Rhia, though, thinks otherwise, and chases after Caelius, and gets a cor-blimey shock!

There are some twists and turns here, that I didn't quite see coming, and that made for a much more interesting read and I loved that. Caelius is a charming young man, in his own sweet way, and I want a Caelius of my own!

The age gap between the two is mentioned a lot near the beginning, but then, once the story gets going proper you don't get it again, until near the end, so don't be put off by the large gap.

AND THEN we have Kallon and Ulixes! thank the lord Prater let them give into their feelings, finally! Its not often a story can be dragged out for several books successfully (in my opinion!) but Prater pulls it off here. Ulixes broke my heart with his tale, how his past affected him, and why he felt he couldn't be loved by Kallon. broke.my.heart. TISSUES, girl, you should warn that we need tissues for this one!

Up next is Maxim. We get a little snippet right at the end, and I just know that when that book comes out, it will be my new favourite.

Every time there is a new one of these, it becomes my favourite. And that is never a bad thing, believe me! I'm sorely tempted to go back and reread these books, and I am NOT a rereader, so for me to say that, you know these are good ones for the keeping.

OMG!! Finally I got book 5 that I've been waiting impatiently for. And let me tell you the wait was definitely worth it. Gotta love a book with uber hot alien/humans who look like Gods. You remember Caelius, he was sent to cooking school for scratching Maxim's truck. Well he takes a class and finds the woman of his dreams, there's only a couple of problems. Number one is she's 22 years older than him and she sees that as a problem even though Caelius doesn't. Number two is his fang doesn't heat up so she's not his mate. He's devastated by the lack of reaction to her by his fang so he decides to leave and travel across country to do male reviews at other clubs. Also in the story are Ulexis and Kallon who we've met before. They're in love but Ulexis doesn't feel worthy of Kallon's love. Kallon is determined to make Ulexis realize that he is worthy and that they could have a life together. Now i get to pace for book six because the end sets us up with Maxim finding his mate so be prepared to scream at the end. I so love the way these book are written with such love and the consideration given to full figured women. These sexy men don't want tiny little women they want a Jane Mansfield type figure and I applaud the author for writing a series about women who are desired for being healthy and not anorexic.
