Whew!!!
Well I feel like the family already knew that it was Jonathan who did our girl Kiersten dirty but they let him slide enough that he put a bounty on their heads…. It’s a lot of drama and I can’t wait to see what’s next because someone is going to feel some pain but I’m also ready for the love connections to be made … On to book 3

Too long winded
The author needs to write more action and less description, so much about moods and energy shifting, details of what everyone was doing, there was a lot of showers and clothes changing,peace seeking, very little action. 2 books in and very little has happened. I'll pass on anymore books by her.

Great Read
I have to be brutally honest. This was very predictable. I can't lie because it was good but just too damn predictable. Everybody and their momma knows that Johnathan was the person behind Kiersten attacked that had her in a comma. I don't know why they felt the need to have proof. Kiersten is a sweetheart. She don't have not one enemy. Only thing they did by stalling was give Johnathan more time to plot and plan right under their nose. Saint and his crew didn't have no beef in the streets. So there were no reason for them to think Kiersten attack had anything to do with it and plus Johnathan have put his hands on Kiersten before. Hell Kashtyn and Bakari are the retired OG's. They didn't have anybody from their past coming back for revenge. Hell it wouldn't have been far off if Melody delusional ass would've been behind the attack to get back at Saint because he chose to end their relationship and she don't want to let go. I will say that Johnathan isn't the only snake in Saint crew. Jason is a snake as well. It proved he don't have any loyalty when he tried to slide up on Jream knowing Saint been kicking it with her but Jream shut that s**t down. It second option was Melody. Her drunk, miserable ass fell for it. Sire definitely knew Johnathan was behind Kiersten getting almost beat to death. That why he had someone following Johnathan. What he didn't expect was for their to be an attempt on Saint and his life. Khalil showing Sire a picture confirmed more than what Sire thought. Johnathan better get his dumb ass on somewhere because he have no clue that Kiersten woke up and the plan he set in motion has come back to bite him in the ass

Ok, so boom, yes, they’re still BBW virgins, BUT at least this time we had some action. 👀 These psycho exes really didn’t know how to move around, and it kept things interesting.
I actually enjoyed this one more than the first, so we’re definitely building up. My only thing is… when are we gonna get to the real romance of the urban romance? That’s what I’m waiting on.
Still, it was a good time, and I’m rolling right into book 3 to see where this goes.

Side Characters Took Over
The book is well written and has great parts but it felt like the FMC and MMC were side characters in their own book. I get having a side plot and adding that to the story but we got CHAPTERS of Melody. I don’t care about her. She’s a side character’s side character. The author focused so much on her and her story, it kind of ruined the book for me. I just skipped over her parts.

As the plot thickens!!!!! I hope that Jonathan gets what he rightfully deserves! X I’m sure will be dealt with, maybe not right away, but will be. I love how the family rides for one another. There is so much h going on and truly entertaining. I can’t wait to see what book 3 holds. Vee, you did your thing with this one.

Family dynamics. Everything else is written in detail EXCEPT the two baby daddies the momma they reference to as two different people. The three sisters. Jream does hair. The mom/caimans travels for all her businesses but does hair on a regular. Decent story line. Too descriptive but no background unless I missed some books.
