Daniel is building a resort to bring his guests’ fantasies to life. Then Vanessa walks in — and suddenly, he has fantasies of his own. Vanessa can’t believe her luck when she lands a job designing the main club for a resort catering to people with… exotic tastes in the bedroom. Since she’s one of them, it’s the perfect opportunity to finally put pleasure before responsibility. And the man who hired her? He looks like he stepped straight out of her wildest dreams. But that doesn’t mean she’s ready to give up her fierce independence.
Daniel might have had his guests’ experiences in mind when he picked out the furniture for the club, but after meeting Vanessa, he can think of plenty of ways they could break it in before the resort even opens. Having her around to ease the tension when his mother shows up unexpectedly is just another bonus — even if he knows he’s asking for more than she ever planned to give.
Giving in to temptation is easy. But when the lines between pleasure and something more begin to blur, staying carefree might be the hardest fantasy to hold onto.
So good! I personally love the idea of a BDSM resort! The connection between the characters is absolutely amazing! You can feel everything they feel as you read the book! So worth the read!
Thank you for gifting me this book. Here is my honest review.
3 stars 2.5 spicy
This is in 3rd person and dual point of views.
Definitely hits the bdsm trope. Shorter story and a beach vacation feel. The island sounded like paradise.
I absolutely love love Dominic and Luca (both are side characters). I love the banter and I would love to taste Lucas cooking. I can’t wait for more of them.
Daniel (mmc) buys an island and turns It into a bdsm resort and he is a workaholic dealing with family abandonment issues. Vanessa brings sunshine and is enjoying her freedom from being a care taker. I do feel the compliment each other well. I wish we got more of their relationship building and development.
The first half of the book is about the resort and then the second half gets heavy with his mother. For me It didn’t quite fit what I was hoping for. I wanted more of the beach club resort. I wanted to see how It was after they put in so much work to the resort. I also felt like It touched on Ava and Ethan so I am hoping for more because It was like a tease.
If you loved Ali Hazelwood’s Deep End but found yourself wondering what it would look like if someone took the BDSM themes a step further — this is the book for you!
Allure Resort follows Vanessa, an interior designer who lands the job creating the signature club space for a luxury resort catering to those with BDSM tastes. Which is such a unique concept. Yet nothing prepares her for the intense spark she feels with her boss, Daniel. Their chemistry is immediate, but it’s the slow burn of trust, vulnerability, and emotional connection that made the story shine. With great tension, delicious spice, and thoughtful exploration of power and pleasure, Allure Resort is the perfect read for anyone ready to dive deeper into the world of kink romance. 🔥🖤
⭐️⭐️⭐️ ARC Review Daniel buys an island to build an exotic club but needs help designing the rooms, so he hires Vanessa through mutual friends. The first half of the book moves slowly with little plot and made me wonder about a side character (Ava) instead. The second half of the story picked up with past family issues and became interesting that had me finishing it fast. Heavily focuses on a dom/sub dynamic and it worked for them. This book is for when in the mood for a light read with spice.
Includes: •Third person dual POV •BDSM •Family death •Abandonment trauma •No cheating
If you can't get away this summer, this book is the next best thing to a summer escape. The island setting takes you away and the BDSM delivers everything it promises. I love that Daniel had to work out some issues, it made the story more than just a summer fling, and gave him a great character arc. If you're looking for something fun and sexy, then Allure Island is the one for you.
This is a light quick read for those that want a bit of BDSM spice set in a beautiful location with some fairly lightweight characters. There is very little by way of plot, although you have a couple of side stories that seek to add a bit of depth. It is an enjoyable and pleasant romantic story but with little depth.
