Sometimes genuinely so-bad-it's-good, sometimes unintentionally hilarious, Captured is sort of the perfect beach read for 2017 in its energetic pointlessness and multiple bad endings.

This whole book seemed a bit unrealistic. I didn't enjoy it. It felt as though there was Stockholm syndrome going on and that the motives for each character was unjustified. The only person whose action actually made sense was Alexa's. I expected more from this book, but I was quite frankly dissapointed. The whole situation of Abrianna being questioned felt missing if some realistic aspects. The only reason I gave this book 2 stars is because I liked the first ending and my original score is a 1.5. I don't like the fact that there are alternative endings. The first ending leaves you questioning everything, but lets your imagination take place. The other two endings left not much more to be said, especially the second paranormal one, yet I like the concept of that one. The third ending was dissapointing. Now overall, I didn't like this book. It was lacking in many areas, the author's writing was a bit rough. The only reason I kept reading was because I just wanted to know how this was going to end. If this is picked up as a movie, I am curious to see which ending they choose.

I couldn't sleep last night and browsed my "to be read" list to find something...anything that could hook and keep my attention. After several failed attempts with other books by other authors, I opened up "Captured" by Kelly Anne Blount and literally could not put it down.

It keeps you interested, on the edge of your seat and has a great balance of narrative, dialogue and action. Not many authors can pull this off! Wonderfully vivid descriptions that also allow the reader some room for imagination (also important).

I can't wait to read more books by Kelly!!

This was the first book I read off of Wattpad and I thought it was interesting. The story line was cool and there were some major twists that I liked. The pace was fast- I finished it in just a few hours. I wish there had been a little more substance to it though. I felt like the chapters were really short and I didn't get to know the characters very well. This could just be because of Wattpad (i'm new to it), but overall not bad!

This book left me hanging every page with chills! However, it has two different endings which I didn't like. The first one was confusing, and the alternate ending was too corny.

I picked up reading this as I needed a quick-paced story to go through a bad flu.
There were some good twists in the story, but gah, the clichés! Was a tad too much!

Okay I was about to vouch this book till the ends of the earth but I realized that the book changed?? I first read this book when it was on Wattpad and I SWEAR in the beginning the main protagonist was legally blind and her mom had left her in the van to go inside a store and then the guy hopped in the van right after her mom and stole the car with the main character inside it and that’s how the whole introduction went. I never remember this date being the beginning of the story and her not being blind. For this reason my rating is now 3 stars because I don’t even know how much the book must have changed since I read it. Anywho,, concept is still good,, the ending is shocking,, read if you wanna.

Thru the whole book I kept thinking, how could her sister do that to her? To have someone named easton kid nap her sister and abuse her several times, and wanted to kill her, I thought it was Abriana who had went thru all the pain but at the end it has a twist Abriana killed Alexa, and she is in a mental hospital the doctors tell her what really happen, and Alexa tells Abriana all of what happened It gave me chills at the end. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes major twist at the end of a book.

I have mixed feelings about this book.

"Captured" started off strong, I was filled with eagerness and dread in equal measure as Abriana attempted to escape her attacker. I felt almost compelled to continue reading until the very end of the book. However at a few crucial points in the book, it fell short. For instance, motive? Can petty jealousy really drive flesh and blood to murder? More could have been done to justify the hate one sister has for another. The same can be said for her attacker. The ending was slightly confusing as well.

When I first started reading this book I couldn't believe what was happening every moment i read a new section I got flashes of each scene in my head and I knew I wanted to keep reading until i knew exactly what was taking place. Main character Abriana Vega's went a date one night with a guy by the name of Easton Price but the problem is she doesn't return back from the date.

The purpose of this book was to inform the readers that anything can happen and always watch your surroundings and the closet person to you can set you up and want to hurt you . Teens is the the audience I believe this book is directed to but the audience is for all ages because anyone can be kidnapped and or set up .

Kelly Anne which is the author of this book , i believe she wrote this book because she knows that their sick minded individuals out their . I believe she is a very bright writer because of the books she has wrote and I personally loved "Captured" she has accomplished her goal because she is a best seller and the books she rights has something to do with real life situations.

Captured will always keep you guessing even when you get close to the end of the book , I feel as though everyone should give this book a chance.

The book that i’m now read is called Captured. The author of the book is Kelly Anne Blount. The book overall is a very good and includes all my favorite genres: mystery/thriller and horror. But I wish it did include a little more suspense at the end of the chapters. The main setting is about how there are two sisters, one older and one younger they are both teenagers and the older one gets kidnapped because the younger sister wants her dead. The main characters in the book are: the kidnapper: Easton Pierce, The younger sister: Alexa Vega, The older sister: Abriana Vega. The main conflict in the book is that Alexa wants Abriana to be dead. Alexa thinks Abriana gets more attention than her and that everybody likes Abriana more so Alexa wants her to be gone so she can get all the attention and steal Abriana's boyfriend, matias. I would highly recommend this book to all people who like mystery, thriller, and horror. Who I would recommend this book to is my parents and my friends and family . And why I would recommend it to them is because it is good it includes a lot of mystery and also thriller and I would recommend it to people who love reading.

I gave this book 5 stars because it was really interesting. My favorite character was Abriana Vega because she is a fighter. She keeps fighting for her freedom even though she doesn't think she can. I learned that you have to keep fighting for what you need and want. I also learned that you shouldn't trust people that you don't really know. A connection I made was when she escaped out a window, I connected with this because I've jumped out a window. Another connection is when she was in the hospital and she wanted to be left alone, I also connected with this because I've been in the hospital before and wanted to be left alone. You should read this book because you never know what's going to happen next and there is a lot of thrills.

The book “Captured” by Kelly Anne Blount is a realistic fiction book. It is realistic fiction because the main character gets captured because of a dating website which can totally happen now a days. This book is told in first person, but switches of the person who tells each chapter. The theme of this book is probably trust because you can’t always trust people.
This book takes place in a small town, much like here. Briana Vegas meets what she thinks is a nice guy, but realizes that he is not what she expected. When she was about to meet him, BAM!! She is in a truck of a car. Will she ever see her family and sister again? Was this man the only person in on it?
I recommend this book to 13+ because younger kids might not understand this book.

3.5 stars!

Blindfolded and hand-cuffed in the trunk of a car, Abriana’s date did not go as planned. She was warned about meeting up with a guy she met online, but never did she think it would happen to her. But little does Abriana know, her kidnapper is not the one pulling the strings on this mission. Someone is out to get her, someone she loves. Will Abriana escape in time to survive? And if se does, will she even be safe?
'Captured' is intense, and fast-paced. I was instantly captivated by this short story and its plot-twist.

I thought that the book Captured was good. It was very interesting and it made me want to read more to figure out what was going to happen next. I thought that it was suspenseful and in a way it had a twisted plot to it. At times I thought it was hard to follow with it going back and fourth between the sisters, but overall I thought it was.

It was actually planned out pretty nice and it was as well a thrilling story. A page turner, some may say. I think you should try this one out if you think wattpad novels are cheesy: This will most probably change your mind.

The only thing I didn't like was I eventually got bored of Alexa's sick mind and the ending was...so out of place.

At first, the book was really good. I enjoyed the writing and I was hooked but the ending spoiled everything. Both of the endings really sucked for me. I was very disappointed and felt she needed to conclude things better.
