Really funny with great voicing: typical example:
Derek heaves a heavy sigh. "I can't even pretend to be surprised."
Stiles is surprised that Derek has ever pretended to be surprised.
Also:
When Derek doesn't give him a verbal response, as usual, Stiles feels personally obligated to fill the silence with words and animated hand gestures.
Bottom line: Excellent ratio of length to enjoyment.

This was so stinkin cute I just wanted to pinch its cheeks!
What started out as a nice gesture turns a "platonic" relationship into so much more.
Read R.A.P.I.L.A. Drabbles after - it's a series of shorts that showcase these two. This is chaste, sweet and dorky - you will enjoy Derek's infinite patience as Stiles gets him into situation after situation. LLOL!

A sweet funny Sterek in high school where Stiles finds himself friends with the Rapillas - Really Attractive People in Leather Association.
Even better there's a still increasing number of short stories set in the same verse. Peter is a smug popcorn nibbling creeper. Laura a bacon buying, umbrella breaking enabler. And Batman is serious stuff!
Great fun.

This was a nice story, but not what I was in the mood for.
The writing was great and it had great premise.
But I do rate my books as to how I like them and I would have liked it more if something actually happens in this one.
Because nothing happens… No sex, no kissing, no I love you, not even an I like you. It was simply a sort of prologue.
I think the author can accomplish great things, but I need something more from my (fanfic) books.
Here is a Sterek gif to brighten up this depressing review.

I gave this one 5 stars because I was entertained from beginning to end. It also made me happy and had me smiling the whole way through. And that, my friends, is what I consider a successful story, though this was more an episode than a whole story, but when combined with the R.A.P.I.LA drabbles this little episodic series becomes so much fun.

Sweet and short.
Derek is in high school, possibly a year older than Stiles. There are no werewolves. And though they seem to run in different social circles, their paths cross. With Derek having this strange RAPILA (Ridiculously Attractive People in Leather Association) group, consisting of Derek, Isaac, Boyd and Erica and Stiles...being Stiles, there is hardly a chance for them to meet. And yet, a rainy day offers them the possibility to interact as Stiles shares his umbrella waiting for Laura to pick up Derek. This becomes a recurring pattern until they actually get acquainted and everyone around Stiles becomes convinced he's in love with Derek Hale.
It's all very innocent and sweet and totally normal. And it just makes you smile and want to root for them. And also ask the author to maybe write a sequel on how the pair would actually become a couple.

Stiles (a junior) is shocked when Derek (a senior) acknowledges him, mainly because Derek is the leader of a cool group of kids Stiles has appropriately named R.A.P.I.L.A. (Ridiculously Attractive People in Leather Association). The two get to know each other while they hunker down under Stiles' sturdy umbrella every time it rains after school.
Stiles is all flail-y and ramble-y in this one (YES!), and Derek is all broody and expressive with his legendary eyebrows (YES!!!).
This was waaaay too short but thankfully there are a bunch of mini shorts available, here.

I've read the first part and just had a read of a couple of the drabbles in part 2 - really funny, sweet and everyone is in character. I love the way the hales sit with popcorn and watch out their front window :)
Part 2 is still a WIP, but as it is a series of little snippets over time, you can stop after any one of them. They are fun little glimpses that build a picture but that you don't have to read all of them in one go.

This was a pretty good story. This is a Sterek fanfiction story. For those of you that don't know...Sterek fanfic is based off 2 male characters, Stiles and Derek, from the TV show Teen Wolf. In the show they're both heterosexual but some viewers have fantasized about them together in a m/m relationship and thus Sterek was born. This was a human AU with no resemblance to the TV show.
Derek is a senior in high school and Stiles is a sophomore. Stiles has been watching Derek and doesn't think Derek has noticed him. One day after school, Stiles shares his umbrella with Derek and they start a halting path towards friendship and then towards something more. The story ends just as the more is showing.
This was a cute story and I enjoyed it very much. I liked the interactions and how things built between them. :D

This was basically a slightly disjointed continuation of R.A.P.I.L.A. There are a bunch of shorts that show Stiles and Derek in different circumstances, some important ones (like their first kiss and meeting each other's families) and others not so much but still cute. My only real complaint about this was that since it was a bunch of shorts it didn't have a real ending. Still, that wasn't a major issue and overall I liked the shorts very much. :D

This (and the additional drabbles) totally filled my Sterek fix. I loved the humor style and Peter creeper is at the top of his game.

In this AU fic, Derek is still in high school, super cool and broody as he is, and he met Stiles one rainy day when Stiles shared his umbrella with Derek. Cute, but Derek acts more like Stiles is an annoying school friend than a love interest. And the Hales is a bit weird for my liking!
