Dear Reader, ready for a rollicking good romance? Then hang tight. You're about to meet my latest character, Caroline Spencer--a hilarious single mom who's up for almost any adventure, including chaperoning a bunch of boisterous teenagers on their class trip to Mexico!
What Caroline's not up for is Blaine Madison-a fellow chaperone and single parent. Now trust me, honey, when I say this guy is tall, dark, and take-you-breath-away. But just as our leading lady is falling in love, two of the teen-agers get caught up in an international smuggling ring. One is Blaine's daughter-and the other one is Caroline's.
Kids will be kids, crooks will be crooks, and hearts will be hearts, but love trumps all.

Copyright 2005, hardcover book. This book caught my eye. I was in the mood for some Christian Fiction. This was a new author for me. I did enjoy the lite, easy reading. There was enough action in this book to hold my attention. In a nice way the book reminded me that God is in charge of all life and the Bible does tell us what God wants for us. I will seek out other books written by this author.
I didnt realize the book was so religious, i honestly picked it based on the cover and title out of a thrift shop. I did enjoy it but it is not my usual preference. It is a great fast read and had a beautiful story attached to it even though it starts extremely slow and then accelerates to rapid speed near the end
when the book say it is a Christine, i didn't realize it refer to god over and over. Totally awful. I am not one to sit around and wait for God to figure out the problems nor to pray instead of figuring out a way to fix the problems. I will do as much to fix the problem.
no thank you. ready to return the book to the library as soon as I finish the ending!
Stopped at 11% when my loan went back. I guess they’re phasing out audiobooks through my library and Libby because it was unavailable to renew. Libby no longer carries that audiobook. This is the second or third time this has happened in the last month.
Cute book . After traveling for school, Caroline and Blaine found each other. The mix up with the package of stolen stamps added an unexpected suspense. I'm glad everyone was safe, thanks to Johnny. I'm also really happy Caroline and Blaine are going to adopt the little boy from the orphanage.

Unrealistically fast but cute and funny romance. Not as much action or suspense from the smuggling subplot as I'd expected. The faith aspect was a little fluffy.
Ah, well, I really don't know what to say. I loved and hated Paper Moon at the same time.
Paper Moon starts out with single-mom Caroline Spencer, who is chaperoning her daughter's trip to Mexico. Our male-lead if Caroline's daugher's best friend's dad, single-dad Blain Madison. During the trip, they slowly fall in love with each other, all the while juggling difficult pasts and their daughters's interference with a 'international smuggling ring.'
I guess what I hated about Paper Moon is that it was really slow. I don't even know how long it took me to get into some interesting parts, and even then, it didn't pull me in all the way like some other books.
But what I loved about this book was the chemistry between Caroline and Blaine. No sex, unlike most romance novels, but oh-so sweet kisses that take your breath away. Added onto that was a little heart-racing moment where our characters were faced with death.
It was a fairly well read, not one of my favorites, since it took a while for me to get into.

A widower and a single mom both chaperon a trip to Mexico, with their teenage daughters. Caroline is a lady with faith in God's plan for her life. Blaine is a man struggling to forgive himself and God for the death of his first wife.
Their teenage daughters get themselves into a spot of trouble, when they are targeted as mules by a couple of young thieves. Shared faith sees them all through disaster and awakens love in the hearts of Caroline and Blaine. Aw
No sex, sweet kisses, clean humor, wise-cracking teenagers who manage to remain respectful, scripture, prayer, intrigue without too much violence ... it was an okay little read.
Will I read the next two books in this series? Only if they come to me free. 'Just okay' isn't enough to motivate me to purchase anything new. Still though, I don't consider the time spent on this to have been a waste of my time.
This was a wonderful story! It was funny, emotional and very heart felt but also have enough action to keep you hooked. I loved it from beginning to end. Yes it talk about religion and god but i found that pleasantly. A very big change compared to the world and the craziness we are living today! I was asked by my 12 year old if she could read it and im glad i can say yes. There was no cursing words and no sex scene. Just love and some innocent kisses. I will give it a five out of five. At least to me it was a wonderful story and i cant wait to get the other two books from the series. :)
Not good. It's my own fault for picking this up from a garage sale just because the cover was cute. It's a "Christian" book and they reference religion in every single paragraph. That would have been okay though if the writing had been better... very predictable. 10 pages in and I could have written the Cliffs Notes for the entire book!
The story was amusing - but I've decided that this book seals it for me: I'm not a fan of Christian fiction. I prefer books that are just clean and not overpopulated with sex & gore. The distinguishin line for me seems to be the fact that Christian fiction somehow means that the character can't pick where to eat dinner without prayign for guidance. It's irritating.
Pretty good. Not my favorite of her books, but the suspensefulness at the end was plausible and kept my attention. I'm not really into books that make it seem normal for people to fall in love in a matter of days, which is what happens in most of Linda Windsor's books. I didn't get the paper moon reference, but For the most part the book was entertaining.
The first book in Linda Windsor's Moonstruck series. Two single parent chaperones on a class trip to Mexico get together. It was fun and entertaining but not as good as other Linda Windsor books I've read.
