This was an okay YA contemporary romance, but I lost interest.

Briar/Lily was an okay character, but I didn’t love her. She did babble a bit at times, and I got to the point where I realised I didn’t really care all that much what happened to her.

The storyline in this was alright; I didn’t fall in love with the love interest though, and the way the prose changed from past to present tense and back again made the whole thing feel awkward to me. The storyline concerning Briar/Lily’s dad was left until way too late in the book for me, and I just wanted the book to end.

Good book needs a sequel though or even a trilogy!

Good read but felt the story cut short and big jumps one minute she was hit by car the next she's in San Fransisco what happened to her dad?? Who was the girl cal was hugging, feel its missing big chunks. But a good story line and kept wanting more.
