How can you not love a book about Ueck? The pictures are phenomenal and the stories are good, but SO repetitive. His last broadcast transcript still stings with that loss to the Mets. What an incredible man…we sure miss you, Bob! You were the best!

An absolutely amazing book! Uecker meant the world to Brewers fans across Wisconsin and America! My childhood was spent staying up late at night listening to Uecker call games. This book, hit me hard. A strong recommended read that portrays the life and career of the late great Bob Uecker. RIP Mr. Uecker.

At one time, you could make the argument that Al McGuire was Wisconsin, but since then, there can be no dispute that Bob Uecker is Wisconsin. I sorely miss him every day, and I doubt that I am the only one. He was a part of our life for decades. He is probably the most beloved Wisconsin figure ever. He captured the humanity of all of us with wit, humor and humility. This retrospective of his broadcasting career is a must for any Brewers fan.
