Answers important questions surrounding the much debated and contested subject of Sufism. For the size of the book, there's an impressive wealth of information. Unlike many of the works on the topic, the book does not get caught up on the minutiae but addresses the topic in a more comprehensive and general manner. I find this one of its strengths.
I also appreciated the outsider narrative at the beginning of the book.
Defo recommend it to others.
