Very romantic!
It is sometimes very nice to read books like these where the man is just a great guy. In this book, Alex marries Olivia for a year to get his family off his back from fixing him up with an old neighbor that he dated in high school.
Alex doesn’t want his family (or Olivia) to know about his BDSM lifestyle. Olivia says yes to marriage because she needs the money to take care of her Mom who has Alzheimer’s. Throughout the book, Alex is so generous and sweet to Olivia, you just have to wish you had a man like him of your own. The hotness factor doesn’t hurt either.

Though, Alex has secrets of his own and just what is this secret "lifestyle" he is talking about? When she discovers this dark secret of his, she is scared, terrified even. She's never been exposed to the kinky side of sex and she is as innocent as they come. It is completely unknown to her and she's surprised when she starts to enjoy submitting to Alex.
Alex has had his eyes on Olivia for quite a while and he saw a chance to get her in his hands--he did. He devises an ultimate plan: marriage and it would benefit both of them. Her, to help with her money issues and him, to get his mother off his back. He firmly believes himself to be a sadist and cold man void of feelings. However, Olivia proves him wrong; she shows him a side he's unaware of. Soon, the small feelings that began with the fake marriage bloom into something so much more as their marriage becomes real.
This book wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing either. Maybe it's just my mood these days since I can't seem to find a book that just clicks. The plot wasn't anything unique, but I do have to the applaud the author for executing it nicely. It was enjoyable and quite sweet to see the cold dom, Alex find his soft side with the help of his angel, Olivia. Cute epilogue, too! ;)

Love it! Bibi has a gift of taking a story and just making it her own. Olivia the heroine was not quite broken, but very burdened with life. Although this takes place in London mainly it is erotic story that becomes romantic. I enjoyed Alex he was very strong, determined and fucking hot! The sex is intense, but necessary for the story. Again Bibi through her art sets the stage for what is submission and who is the master. I don't want to say too much, READ IT.

Olivia Walker a shy unassuming character, working three jobs scrapping together enough money to support her mother who is in a nursing home with Alzheimer's. Losing a bid on a manuscript for her employer, acquiring this manuscript meant a much needed bonus...what is she going to do?
Alex Davenport has seen Olivia at auctions and feels a connection, although he considers her to innocent for his alternative lifestyle he still feels compelled to help her. What does he do? He out bids her then offers her a proposal she just cant refuse.
I'm not one for spoilers and would encourage reading it to see what happens between Liv and Alex...
There are so many thing I enjoyed about this book... the story was fast paced and flowed really well. I really felt the connection between the character both physically and emotionally, Not to mention those steamy sex scenes..
This was my first book by Ms Paterson, not my last and it will be added to the re-reads list.
I recommend this book to all fans of romance and erotica. 18+ due to the adult content.

I absolutely loved this book. It had me in a total trance from the start and just drew me into it's world and held me there - fabulous !
I was drawn to the characters from the start. Olivia was very relatable as the sweet almost shy quiet type and you could feel the pressure of the burden her shoulders carried.
Alex Davenport is the sexy "I always get my way " alpha that honestly us girls love!
What I loved about this is it also had some fantastic humour laced through out which was a brilliant addition to the tense drama that also occurs, giving this a great balance in the book.
This book takes you on a fantastic ride and believe me Mr Davenport is up there with the top alpha dominant males that I've had the joy to read.
Move over Mr Grey there's a new Dom in town :)

I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
Alex Davenport has watched Olivia Walker for months Alex is used to getting whatever he wants and he wants Olivia. Alex is wealthy and arrogant and sexy and he is also a Dom ( although Olivia doesn't find out until she moves in) who introduces Olivia to her submissive side. I have read all of Bibi's books and this is her first BDSM and it is written very well. I loved the character's in this book there where very well written and the sexual chemistry was very good. I think that each one of the character's brings out the best in each other for years Alex thought that he was a sadist that needed the dark, but with Olivia he liked doing vanilla as well. For Olivia, Alex was like a lifeline Olivia is struggling to make ends meet while trying to take care of her mother who doesn’t even remember who she is. When Alex makes the propositions she agrees to marry him just after one encounter. She knows she has to do everything she can to help her mother since her father left when she was a young girl. Alex makes all the arrangements and just after two weeks Alex and Olivia fly to his home to get married. The arrangement is that they stay married one year and Alex will pay off her debt. On their honeymoon they become friends and then lovers. I really liked reading this book and I am looking forward to reading more from this authors. If you like hot alpha males who are use to getting what they want and the women that they fall in love with a little BDSM thrown into the story than I recommend this book.

Olivia was having hard time since her mother deteriorating health and mental state, but that doesn't stop her to continue her life. Alex has been eyeing her since he first saw her, and wanted to help and protect her. An opportunity showed up, and Alex take a step to put his plan on the move. As story goes, the character also evolve from being stranger into being in relationship, and I really love the story flow, no rush sex scene and Alex domly acts really put me in the spot. Olivia was well developed to the sub act, and I really having hard time to put this one down.
Kinks are really a turn on (me).
Definitely on my Re-Read list.

Once again, Bibi Paterson has written a story that sucks you in (no pun intended, unless you've got a filthy mind like me!) that not only has a good plot, but the characters are great and have amazingly hot chemistry together. But this is more than just a sexy BDSM story, you're privy to witnessing the bond that develops between Olivia and Alex. But along with amazing chemistry and loads of hot smutty sex there is the angst that threaten to tear them apart. Will they or won't they make it as a couple? You'll just have to read it (and trust me, you won't be let down with this book).

One thing I like about Bibi Paterson's books is that your grabbed right from the start and you cdnt let go . Her books are erotic, yes, however they are also a gentle love story as well with interesting characters and a very interesting subject handled with great sensitivity. Although this is an on going love story Bibi manages to get an underlying sense of tension throughout the story. What might go wrong ? Is it too good to be true?A good book to have on your shelf if it's your genre and if it's not it's worth a read

This is the first book by this author I have read but it will not be the last. An interesting story which is well written, with detailed characters that have unique interactions. A business arrangement, marriage, secret lifestyle and blackmail! Olivia and Alex find the path to happiness has many obstacles but love always finds a way. Enjoyed this story very much.

I was hooked from the beginning! The characters in this story are wonderful, I loved Olivia, so strong and Alex was sweet and caring but oh so hot and sexy. The story draws you in and I couldn’t put it down until the end. Great Read!

this is not my 1st book by bibi Paterson, I had previously enjoyed her writing style so was a little excited about reading this one.
so I guess this is bound to be compared to 50 shades of Grey and I guess it kind of had the same Dom/sub storyline but that is about it.
Olivia Walker is just about at rock bottom, she had a mum in a care facility, working 3 jobs to keep her head above water and seems totally alone. She sees some light at the end of the tunnel at an auction for her boss, a manuscript that will earn her a pretty penny, but when it all falls apart when she looks at her ringing phone and takes her eyes of the auction for a fraction of a second she losses which means her hard ass cranky boss looses too.
So she had taken to chasing down the winner bidder, one Alex Davenport, rich, arrogant and obscenely hot. Olivia tries to hide her reaction to him, but what she didn't know is - Alex knows who Olivia is and has a perfect ploy to get her. one meeting changes everything!
Olivia meets up with Alex, and is told she can have the manuscript if she will agree to marry him! WHAT! Yep, that is it. marry him for 12 months, make a fortune, he will look after the care facility for her mum and her bills that are spiraling out of control. thinking this is her one way ticket, she says yes!
So with a trip to Australia to be married in front of his family, it all seems so easy. pretend to be a loving couple, no sex, separate living quarters. piece of cake until it is not.
Not long after the marriage is "finalized" Olivia quickly realizes that this is more than a marriage of convenience, she is falling in love. and that is such a bad idea. I really loved this book. When we first meet Alex he is so cocky and confident that Olivia will fall at his feet right away. But Alex also knows that Olivia is very different than the lifestyle he is use too. Olivia is struggling to make ends meet while trying to take care of her mother who doesn’t even remember who she is. I really liked Olivia from the get go. She is such a sweet and loving person even though she doesn’t know anything about Alex when he propositions her she agrees to marry him just after one encounter. She knows she has to do everything she can to help her mother since her father left when she was a young girl. She Alex sets all the arrangements and just after two weeks Alex and Olivia fly to his home to get married. Olivia falls in love with Alex’s family right away. They are all very loving and accept her right into the family. It’s at the wedding when Alex kisses Olivia she knows she is in trouble with her heart. The arrangement is for Alex and Olivia are only suppose too be married a year and his family will be off his back and Alex with pay all of her debts. Over the next week Alex and Olivia form a friendship on their honeymoon. But once they are back from the honeymoon Alex changes completely. When Olivia goes into the basement one day she realizes that Alex is a Dom and the lifestyle he has been hiding from his family. From that day on Alex and Olivia form a different type of relationship. It was pretty amazing seeing their relationship develop into love. I fell in love with both Alex and Olivia even more. When things start to fall apart, Alex steps up and does everything he can to protect Olivia. I loved watching the changes in Alex after he fully lets Olivia into his heart to help him realize his true feelings about his past. I look forward to more from this author. I would love to see more from Alex and Olivia!!

This author was kind enough to give me a copy of her book for an honest review. This is the first book I have read from this offer and I am impressed. I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I really like when the characters have great chemistry together from the get go. I don't like to have to wait until half the book is over before the real fun begins. As you know their is the BDSM dynamic so if thats not what you are in to, then you shouldn't read this book.
Olivia is deep in debt and she doesn't know what to do. Her job is on the line if she doesn't win the auction for a manuscript. Alex has his eyes set on Olivia. He has a proposition for her in order to get the manuscript. She takes Alex up on his offer of marriage. A marriage of convenience for 1 year.
He doesn't want anyone to know about his lifestyle. Olivia has been given strict instructions to stay out of the basement.
Does Olivia discover Alex's secret? If so, how will this affect their relationship? Based on the prenup, they have a year together.
Alex is approached by someone from Olivia's past. Someone is also out there from Alex's past that is trying to sabotage their relationship as they become closer together.

I LOVED this story! Olivia Walker is not making ends meet. Her mother is in a nursing home, and Olivia has run out of funds to keep her there. When she loses at an auction where she's trying to buy a rare book for her employer (and get a nice check in exchange) she begs the auction winner to let her buy the book. Alexander Davenport has seen Olivia at other auctions and something draws her to him. But she's much too sweet and innocent for him and his "alternate lifestyle." But something calls to him to take care of her. At the same time his family in Australia is making noise about him getting married and they are trying to play matchmaker with a girl from his past. To get his family off his back and to help Olivia, he offers her a one-year marriage in return for the book. He'll take care of her for that year and she'll help keep his family at bay. No sex, and they can each their own discrete relationships with others. Of course, Liv discovers that Alex is into BDSM, but rather than being horrified like he thinks she'd be, she's curious. It's interesting watching their relationship grow and, especially since they are both very likeable characters. Olivia is older than your typical PYT that finds her billionaire Dom, and her maturity is much appreciated. My only complaint about this book is that it is told in present tense, which is not my preference, but hey, that's just me.

Olivia has had a tough go of life. She’s barely making ends meet soon to be without a job or a home all while shouldering the responsibility of taking care of her ailing mother. To make everything okay for just a little longer, she just needs to purchase an exclusive book for her demanding boss.
Alex has success and wealth, unfortunately he also has a loving and meddling family who wants him married. He has no desire to have a long term relationship considering he has certain proclivities in the bedroom which those close to him know nothing about. Taken by a woman, he sets a plan into action to get what he wants.
I really enjoyed this book. It doesn’t quite follow the typical formula of a bdsm or even romance novel and yet doesn’t stray so far that it’s off-putting. For the plot directly, I like how Olivia and Alex did everything backwards. They put a marriage before a friendship or relationship but in their case it works. Olivia is great because while she comes across as a natural submissive, she’s also feisty and independent. On the flip side, Alex believes himself to be a firm sadist but he isn’t quite that either. Overall this is a book that is well written and just different enough to stand out. I can’t wait for further projects from Bibi.

LOVED IT!
Olivia— or Liv as she's so often called— is a shy woman who bids for manuscripts for her job. She meets Alex when he bids higher than her on the manuscript she's trying to get. They make a deal that will ensure she gets the manuscript, as well as care for her sick mother for a year— as live struggles to pay her own bills as well as her mother's healthcare — and Alex gets an excuse not to date anyone his family wants to set him up with. In this story, we explore Alex'a desires and Liv's struggles.
This was such a cute, sexy book. I loved how Alex (and might I add that his name totally fits him) was domineering but sweet and gentle. Liv was shy, but not a pushover. The whole Australia/London setting/background/accents was really unique, too! I loved Alex's big family and Liv's background. It's not often in BDSM stories it's the female with the problems, and the male with the supportive, loving family. The sex scenes were hot and I just loved the detail and the care Alex had for Liv afterwards.
Maybe a little more insight into their families and personal thoughts would have been nice, so we could get a better picture of them. Minor grammar and punctuation errors. But I still think it was such a great read! Really loved these two! 5 fat stars! Woohoo!

I really enjoyed this book. I LOVE the way the characters meet. Alex is so romantic and I can see why they are attracted to each other & I couldn't wait for them to get together. They are both really likable and realistic characters.
This book is told in the present tense & the author does a wonderful job of holding it together - I know this is a really difficult style to write and when it is done well it makes for a great read.
The pacing of the story is perfect, it flows along well. I was disappointed because the author introduces some very interesting conflicts which are unfortunately resolved too easily - I would have liked a little more attention to those scenes and a little more background info. I would like to meet Olivia's dad, maybe even add in a scene between Alex and Becca? The scenes between Olivia & Sofia and with Alex's mother Sheila work well because there is dialogue between them, and that is more interesting than just being told something happened & then was resolved.
This was my first book by Ms Paterson and I am definitely looking forward to more.
I recommend this book to all fans of romance and erotica. 18+ due to the adult content.

I really loved this book. The Authors writing flowed well and the book was easy to read. I was immediately drawn to the main characters, Olivia Walker and Alex Davenport.I read this book in one sitting because it was too good to put down.
Olivia is working multiple jobs in order to pay for her mothers stay in a Nursing Home. When Olivia realizes that she will no longer be able to pay for her mothers nursing care, she enters into an arrangement with the Very Sexy, Very Successful and Very Cocky Alex. This is the only way for her to be able take care of her mother, this is her light at the end of the tunnel.
Olivia has no idea what's to expect and what's in store for her is Hot, Sexy and Romantic.

I enjoyed this book. I LOVE the way the characters first meet. Alex is so romantic, dominate and just plan drool worthy! I can see why they are attracted to each other & I couldn't wait for them to get together. They are both really likable and realistic characters.
I was immediately drawn to Olivia. She's sweet, kind, and determined to do everything on her own because she has always had to! And pretty much sacrifices everything to take care of her sick mother.
I loved Alex from the very beginning. He is a very strong, caring and commanding man, not to mention sexy as hell. I immediately wanted to know more about him. And I fell for him even more when he becomes determined that he would care for Olivia no matter what.
At first at though it was going to be told in duel POVs and I really liked that idea, because the author started off the first 1 or 2 chapters in Alex's POV and then the rest of the book continues in Olivia's. Still very enjoyable though and didn't put me off reading it.
If you enjoyed 50 shades then this is a book for you! Only this is shorter, sweeter, so much more adorable, the attraction between the characters are much more believable (not hating on 50 shades) but Move over Mr Grey there's a new Dom in town ;-)

Tied To You is an erotic romance novel by Bibi Paterson. I haven't read this author before, but based on this, I would definitely check out the rest of her books. This tells the tale of Olivia, a young woman who's having a seriously tough time of it lately. Her job is demanding, and she absolutely has to achieve everything her boss asks in order to get the pay cheque she so desperately needs to help her family. Normally, this isn't much of a problem - until an item she's bidding on for her boss is snatched from under her nose. She literally cannot afford to lose out, so she chases after the winning bidder in order to persuade him to sell to her. From there, things take a definite turn... but I'm not saying whether it's for better or for worse.
This is a very interesting read. I admit, there were elements of it that I wasn't keen on - but overall it's a fascinating twist on the whole billionaire Dom angle. The characters are very likeable, the sex scenes incredibly hot, and the plot and character development certainly keep you turning the pages. So if you're looking for your next fix of BDSM erotic romance, you should consider adding this novel to your eReader.

Her writing style allows you to fall in love with the characters and gives you such an in depth history that you feel you are there with them.
This is her first book in the land of BDSM. I must say she she did a very good job.
The friendship, attraction and trust that is developed at the beginning of this book, allows you to be comfortable with their growing relationship,'". Not to mention the scenes are pretty HOT.
A fast read, but great read.
