The war between Hell and Earth is about to commence. But first, Chase must save the girl he loves.
Hell should have killed Chase Winters when it had the chance. Now, it’s too late. He is coming for them—all of them. And he won’t stop until he gets what he wants. Angel. Chase will be damned before he lets Hell take the only thing that matters in his life.
Angel Morgan is as feisty as ever—more so. She is embracing the darker side of being other than human. The line between good and bad has blurred, and even if Chase can find a way to bring her back, that kind of betrayal leaves nasty scars.
In the most sensual and action-packed installment yet, the world is crumbling down around them, and the stakes are higher than ever. They must do whatever it takes to rid Earth of demons. One thing is clear. Their love will either save them or destroy them all. No matter the outcome, lives will never be the same.

It’s taken me a bit to come back to the series. But I’m glad it’s over. It dragged a bit for me and I even skimmed a lot just to get to the point. The fight with Alastair was short and boring not at all what I expected after 5 books. Was disappointed. Would have been nice to delve more into the Kira part to learn what she is and why she’s so special so that leaves things open. Book was ok glad it’s over
The Conclusion. The final battle. Who will kill Alastair? Also, equally relevant, will Angel snap out of Apollyon - demon! stop it, brain! - mode?
The last installment needs to be told in two parts, obviously, because firstly, and most importantly, Angel has to get her inner girl on again. Everyone who´s read the Covenant series will know how this part will end. Everyone else, too. I came to like the story for its entertaining character and fast read status recently and don´t expect any great, earth shattering depth and twists. I just enjoy it for what it is.
The second part evolves around a solution for the higher demon problem the friends are faced with. Nothing new on that front, too, but hell if I didn´t suck it up nevertheless.
I´m left, after 5 books, lots of rollercoaster style feeling (due to the plain plagiarism) and an even greater love for JLA books, with a satisfied heart. We got what we wanted, sappy ending included. Even the last salute to the Lux series was there. If you started something you´d have to go through with it until the end, I guess.
I´m curious, though, because some questions are left open and provide enough material for a 6th book. After all, we don´t get any information about the deal with Kira or if Angel is able to control the inner demon, now do we? Those things still stand in the room, awkwardly, like an ugly vase.
This was an exceptional series if I do say so myself. There were a few grammatical errors here and there in the entire series but if you can overlook those, it's well worth it. I fell in love with Chase in the first series and Angel has been my spirit animal. When you read the first book, you think "how can a guy like Chase possibly get more lovable?" and then you read the next book and you're like "Holy crap! I didn't think it possible." I've always loved how much of a spitfire Angel is. She was born to become the ultimate weapon and I don't think there was any doubt about Chase saving her because really, when has he not? I sincerely hope Lexi has found some kind of happiness because I think she deserves it after everything that has happened but I'm glad that she got to experience love even if it didn't last long. I'm so glad that I read this series and that stories like this exist because it only furthers my resolution that love is out there for everyone.
I read this book a while ago and was sad to see the series come to an end. Chase has become one of my many book boyfriends. I have a lot of them too! Shh... don't tell my husband. Anyways, back to the review... This was a great ending to the series. Chase and Angel seemed perfect together and the ending was the best conclusion for the two of them.
I enjoyed this book. I will miss the characters to this world. It has grown on some people but not others. Yes i will say this book 1 is similar to Lux Series book 1 but different in its own way. It could be said Archanic Series by Regan Ure is almost similar to Lux Series as well. All series are good now back to this book.
It was very detailed with emotions, fight scenes. The possible sex scenes were not overly detail in fact sometimes i had to go back and reread a few words to make sure that was what they were doing. I do wish they were little more detailed.
I still love Angel and Chase. Emma has grown on me more in this book. Travis is still funny as hell. Lexi... i really felted sorry for her when her boyfriend was killed at the end. Now i can't wait for her series to come out.
It sounds great. Now it's just me but is it before the Epilogue in this book or not?
Eh, I gotta say I really had to push myself to finish this series. I thought there were parts that shined, but I felt as though some parts were simply fabricated for dramatic effect and didn’t make much sense (such as the fight Chase picked with Angel on Homecoming night that was “out of the blue”, where was Kira during the final battle scene in book 5 if she was so concerned about Travis and Lexi, Emma’s ever-changing personality, etc. I enjoyed the relationship between Chase and Angel, but man, am I the only one who thought that Angel was a shitty friend for most of the series? There were quite a few grammatical errors that disrupted the story flow in certain pivotal scenes and I skipped over pages of repetitive internal monologues. Overall, it was a decent series with shades of emotional turmoil.

I loved this last book, it was packed full of surprises, love, sacrifice, sadness, and an epilogue that just made me smile from ear to ear. It starts with Angel still in the cage and Chase trying to find an answer of how to get his angel eyes back. Chase makes some serious decisions that puts him at risk and brings some people into their lives that may be good or bad. It broke my heart when Chase had to do something that went totally against everything in him. The author shows his pain when Chase says “Please God don’t take her from me. Not my Angel”. Some major surprises are discovered when Chase risked everything and in the end it was the thing that changed everything for them.
5 stars because I liked the ending. I don't really believe any male such as Chase could be so considerate and loving, but I enjoy the dream. The author brought the struggle of life and destiny together very well. Lexi, Emma, Chase, Travis, and Angel were just kids and through the series, watched them go through senior year and on to college. It felt like they had aged and went through so much in such a small time. This book also opens up to possible other stories with Lexi finally meeting her Mom. Who knows where that could lead....dun dun dun.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It is full of close calls and dangerous pursuits, but still managed to finish up the Divisa series nicely in a complete HEA package. I'm looking foward to reading the Lexi continuation of the series at a later point and time. I'd recommend this book to anyone that has kept up with the Divisa series thus far, and those looking for interesting YA adventure type books with a bit of danger and good times all meshed in together.
I don’t think I will ever be able to read a series by JL Weil and not be completely addicted, followed by a total book hangover. Angel, like all of JL’s leading ladies, is a strong, brave and spunky spitfire and Chase, also like all of JL’s leading guys, is infuriating, sexy and charming. Their demon infested world is terrifying and dramatic, keeping you on the edge of your seat, similar to all of the worlds JL creates. I can’t get enough!
Lexi chase emma travis and angel go to war with alistars demons with angel having found a new distructive power that destroys demons it looks like they will all get there happy ever after... that is until lexis boyfriend is killed.. i hope theres gonna be a spinoff just for lexi as id like to see her find love and happiness too. The epilogue of 10 yrs later is a lovely touch.
The series develops and evolves over the course of the five books, each book closing one arc and opening another. All the main characters growing with each book. While the last book may not have been the best of the series in this readers mind, it was still a riveting ending to the story. Fans of coming of age stories with a paranormal twist are sure to enjoy this series.
If l could rate these books higher l would, loved them never read any of miss weils books , but thanks to cameo renae she recommended them and bang l found another wonderful author. Adventure, romance, danger, and who couldn't fall in love with chase and angel.this is one series that l will remember. 💓
Just finish reading the last book of the Divisa series. I’m filled with emotions of happiness yet sadness it’a over. I really enjoy reading this series. I would love to read more on Lexi, Travis and Emma’s life and what ever happen with kira. I love angel and chace. The ending was great!
I think she builds up the suspense well, but the ever changing emotions from angel in the series and very “convenient” times for her emotions to go wild or cause problems has me questioning. I love the story though so I give that hard work applause. Overall it’s a good series that I enjoyed. Thank you.
Back to Angel’s POV starting with her being in the Hunter’s underground cell. But it switches back and forth as Chaise tries to bring her back to herself. He finally comes up with a desperate plan to save her that has a family twist. Love the ending.
Fave scenes: Chaise & Kira’s car accident, Angel getting back into her own bathroom, the peach-strawberry smoothie, Lexi meeting Kira.
Oh what a great last book for the series! J.L. Weil has done it again! Another great series ended! But I am glad she will be adding additional information to the story every so often online! I will be looking for these!
This was a perfect ending to this series. It was not rushed and progressed perfectly. I love how the the author wrapped everything up. I hope there is a spin-off or novella on Lexi. She deserves a HEA too.
I just enjoyed reading all the books so much. Its so easy to get involved with all the characters.. Really loved the love Chase and Angel, through all the horrible things happening their love was never ending. Love the family all working together.
I wasn’t so sure on how to rate this. Through all 5 books there’s glimpses from JA’s books, although not as bad as book 1 and 2. I did enjoy the book thou. If I hadn’t real any of JA’s books I would have given it a 4-5 stars.
This story flowed smoothly but had an array of emotions, laughter, spunk, lust, and love. The snarky characters even the side characters you loved them all. Im sad its over but they are alive again in crowned darkness and I am so excites to just see angel and chases name again!
This has been one amazing series. The love story is epic, character interaction stellar and funny, the love among this extended family also comes with personality clashes but they get through and are there for each other
