This was an incredibly powerful collection of essays.

It is a contributor-led anthology of poetry, essays, and art from Gaza and other writers. Every single piece was powerful, and I had to take breaks multiple times throughout the book. Reading this book is part of our moral obligation to bear witness, if that is the absolute least we can do.

The most notable essays for me were Nasser Abourahme's In Tune With Their Time, Rahul Rao's The University in a Time of Genocide, Lina Meruane's Palestina en Todas Partes and Mohammed Mhawish's After the Ceasefire.

This was genuinely incredible. There are no highlights and no low entries. Every poem, essay, diary entry, letter, photo and drawing was excellent. It was beautiful, devastating and informative from start to finish.

This is a book I think everybody should read. Not only is it incredibly beautiful and poignantly moving...it's also unbelievably insightful. The kind of insight that heartbreakingly, only comes from first hand experience.
