In my family, the notorious Fausti famiglia, I was known as…The Casanova Prince.
I, Mariano Leone Fausti, was a world-renowned Lothario.
Until the great hand of fate smacked me upside the heart, and Sistine appeared wearing a leather apron and holding a blowtorch. My reputation preceded me, and it seemed like all the fire in her veins was aimed at me—out of disgust. If looks could kill, I’d be The Dead Prince.
Sistine was a challenge I refused to lose, though. And it was more than Sistine herself that presented a hurdle.
She was the daughter of the head jeweler of the Cappello family. I was the son of a Fausti. An ancient rule existed between her blood and unless I accepted fate’s test, we couldn’t be together.
As with all epic love stories, fate directed our destiny, and even if I won Sistine’s hand, the battle to keep us together was far from over. Fausti history would repeat itself in a way that might tear us apart in the end…

I truly love reading about the Fausti family. They are family I visit often. Mariano is Brando thru and thru. Their story mimics Scarlet and Brando. The trials they went thru, the lost of a child, the trip to Fiji, even Mariano's later indifference to Mitch. Sistine, with the crazy sister Capri and Scarlet's crazy sister Charlotte. Both selfish, self absorbed individuals. The bar scene was hilarious, and I had to laugh when Scarlet mentioned Puddin. Too funny. The book was good and it was nice to see Romeo's eldest son Angelo. I hope the other sons will be included too. By now I'm sure Luca has got to be pushing 70 if he's not there already, Brando, Rocco, Romeo and Dario and Mac have to be up there to. This story is very much in-depth with Mariano and Sistine's relationship. All he went thru to have her, her family, also crazy especially her father. With the separation, Mariano about to lose his mind, the crazy Rattler guy in Wyoming, the maze, besoted Iggy, and Lev making his appearance. The crazy mediator who fell in love with Nino's wife Dr. Musa, that was tragic. Poor Oscar to lose both parents. Then Everett Posey passing away. The loses in this book are vital characters who have been here since the beginning of the Fausti saga.. With all of that, Mariano and Sistine came out strong. Only thing is Mariano need to get a new word. I can't count the number of F-bombs he drops, which is about every other sentence.
The Casanova Prince (A Fausti Family Royal Organized Crime Romance) The Next Generation
By Bella Di Corte
If there was one Fausti son who was just like his father it would be Mariano!
He was the spare and what exactly does a spare do? In his case he did many things…..played soccer, ran a investment company with his brothers, cattle ranching, oh and women….he is called the Casanova Prince but really he was running, to whom, to find the woman who would take his heart, take his love and make him feeled loved.
The Fausti’s had their own private jeweller, Cappella’s Jewelry….only served those members of the Fausti familia! They had no idea that the most treasued gem in their store was Sistine. She was a Cappella daughter who was beautiful and talented…and she was not that anamoured with Mariano Fausti. He on the other hand knew the moment he saw her that she was his heart, now just to get her to feel the same way, feel that he was her heart!
The Casanova Prince follows how they fell in love, the obsticales that were in their way and their story from Venice, to Wyoming, Fiji to Natchitoches and back to Italy. There are twists and turns that keeps readers on their toes! In the end though fans get to spend time with our favorite Mafia rulers as the next generation of Fausti’s men and women find out what true love brings to ones heart.
I am a huge fan of Bella Di Corte’s criminal romance stories and I can’t wait to see who we get to spend time with next!
Another amazing read in the Fausti family, damn these men and women keep getting better. Mariano, the Casanova prince, loved all women he had no preference until his eyes landed on Sistine. These two had no easy road to love at all, as a Fausti he was always being challenged, and as his woman she would be challenged even more. These two had the love that stood the tests set forward, and there were quite a few, until one heartbreaking moment almost broke then completely. I absolutely loved this read, I devoured it and I can not wait for more of this family.
I have immensely enjoyed nearly all this author's book but the more recent ones, meh. This book could have definitely been edited a bit more, some scenes didn't add anything to the story, for me. There were also mistakes of repeated paragraphs, etc. The one major issue I have is that this is not the story that was alluded to in Prince of Stars. At the end of that book, this couple is not together but she gets pregnant and that's where this book should have started with that conflict for continuity sake.
Woah this was a big book. So it took a little longer than expected to read.
Mariano is known as the Casanova Prince, so he has been a bit of a ladies man. When he encounters Sistine he knows she’s his. But will she feel the same?
The next generation of the Fausti family are just exciting to read about as their parents. I adored Mariano and Sistine’s story.
