USA Today Bestselling Author Regina Duke presents an escape to a true love fairytale! A new Colorado Billionaires novel!
Belle Daireng’s dream career brings heartbreak, betrayal, and the threat of a lawsuit. Her reason for becoming a nurse was born of a secret that could destroy her future hope for happiness. But right now, she’s nursing a broken heart and she’d settle for any job that would ease her financial worries.
Ulysses Garrison’s secrets could cost his family billions. The last thing he wants is a full-time nurse telling him what to do and driving him crazy with her athletic beauty. If only he hadn’t told that first lie. Now he has even more secrets, and one of them is his growing love for Belle.
USA Today Bestselling author Regina Duke lives in Northern Nevada with her canine companions, and she's hard at work creating a new novel for you to enjoy!
Regina says, "I've walked the beaches of Spain, shared a Mexican shower with a four-inch-long cockroach, and heated my 10th floor British walkup hotel room by running hot water in the bath! Back home in Nevada, I write mostly sweet contemporary romance, with some cozy mystery and soft science fiction. I sometimes write dog books and share credit with my alter ego, Linda White."
A short contemporary romance. Billionaire with an injury, a nurse disgraced. She's hired to care for him. They're both lying and holding secrets, but can they come together anyway? His dad forces a marriage of convenience and he chooses the woman physically closest to him, his home nurse. Not a bad read. Overbearing family, lots of money, lots of secrets.
This is the fourth book in the Colorado Billionaires series. They are all very sweet, clean, easy reads. This one starts out a bit different than the others, but they end up at the same place. Needing each other to fix a problem. The Wedding Belle features Thor's (from the second book) big brother, Ulysses. And his unwanted personal nurse, Belle. Uly needs to once again step up to help his father close a huge business deal over seas. And since his father told his business associates he was already married, now he has to make it so. And Belle is looking at having need of his family's many lawyers in the near future. There is a reason she is unemployed and looking for work in Eagles Toe. They both are holding back information that when finally revealed could end their business contract, even though they are starting to have true feelings for one another. Each book features a different couple who all end up in this small Colorado town and their circumstances lead them to enter into a business contract that includes marriage, to help solve their immediate and in some cases long term problems. They are a bit predictable and slightly formulaic. Their endings seem a bit rushed. But there is something that draws me back to read the next one.
It's a lovely short story and I was able to finish it in less than two hours. I like the storyline---a fired nurse (Belle) starting over. A disgruntled man with injuries who absolutely does not want a home care nurse. A mother/mother-in-law who is overly involved in her children's lives--to the point that one of her daughters-in-law checked herself into the hospital because she couldn't cope with all the stress anymore. A father and brother who both sound like workaholic businessmen. Yes, they're billionaires but I do wish they were a little more active in their family life as they are in their business life.
Side note: Ulysses is an odd name for a guy in a modern novel, but I guess it works!
This is my third reading pleasure of the series. Loved this one as much as the 1st one. Once you read one (they are like potato chips) you have to read more!! Fantastic!!
Secrets are always hard to carry but especially hard on relationships. When a couple is getting to know each other and they keep secrets there comes a time they must trust each other or risk their marriage falling apart.
And I sense a theme... another setting where the characters have to get married, he because being single could cost his father a lot of money, her because she got into trouble and needs money to defend herself, or more specifically, she needs lawyers, because sometimes is not who is right but who has the best lawyers who gets free. Both Belle and Ulysses have a secret they have to protect themselves from, and by getting married they can do that. For them it was hate at first sight, but after some time together they find out that they are good together.
Of all the books in the series, that have the exact same setting, this one is the best. I liked the interaction between the characters, and the misunderstandings and actions, and everything in between.
This is the fourth book in the Colarado Brides series. It is a lovely little story that has its stars Uly and Belle meeting each other. It also has snippets of the stars in the previous books. Once again Regina has written up a storm and made us sigh at the ups and downs of yet another relationship in Eagles Toe.
Beautiful story of two people needing to find their own voice and be who they are to be happy and long the way find in each other the strength to be who they are.
I really liked this book and the whole series. Wished there were more than just 4. Easy and fun to read. Moments of laughter. A nice quick book to read that allows you to escape for awhile!
