9 books51 followersCarrie Anne Ward grew up in the seaside resort Clacton on sea in Essex, England, with her mum and two brothers until she was 16 years old, and then moved with her mother to Colchester (where she still lives to this day) to go on to study Art and Design at the Colchester institute. However, after recovering from the illness glandular fever, which meant she couldn’t finish her degree, she went out into the world to become a working class citizen and a glamour model on the side.
For many years she would write story in her spare time, mostly horrors or supernatural, but never felt the passion to take it further. Her love for literature at school didn’t, at that point, over take her love of Art, but as she grew older her passion in writing surpass any other desire she ever had.
When BDSM erotic books took the world by storm, and what with Carrie having experience in this area, being a submissive, she finally found the genre in which she want to write about. Not to mention her love for erotica. Now at the age of 33 she has release her first erotic book and is currently writing the second part book in The Taylor Made Series, A Taylor Made Master.

Corrupted Desires is currently FREE on Amazon and contains a number of dark, steamy short stories. This was the first time I've read stories by these authors and I thought this anthology was a great way to introduce me to their writing.
Come to Me by Alisa Easton - Alex and Laura are two people, who although they don't know each other yet, they need one another to survive. With the help of Laura's Ouija board on All Hallow's Eve, her dead husband Mike will push Laura and Alex together.
The Dark Night by Sharon Cummin - Maddie gets roped into going to a Halloween party with her best friend Patty. She's not interested in going. She hasn't been interested in any man since years ago when she and her high school sweetheart Pete broke up. But Pete's moved on. Or has he?
Employment Benefits by Carrie Anne Ward - Marie works as a maid at Bennett Abbey. She knows she should quit and find another job, but she can't. Not when there's the chance of being taken by the Master.
Room 113 by SJ Warner - Jake stupidly cheats on his fiance Alya and gets caught. He ends up at a hotel after she demanded he leave. When Alya shows up, does that mean she has forgiven him?

This is a nice little collection of Halloween-themed erotica. The pieces range from fairly tame but sexy romances to some dangerously dark stories that are definitely not for everyone. Thankfully, the editors have coded each piece with a 1-3 star rating reflecting how far each one goes.
Horror erotica can be tricky, because the genres differ quite a bit in their conventions. Mixing the two requires a careful balance to keep both themes working. These pieces naturally vary in quality, with a couple of them getting the sex right but falling short on the scare, or vice versa.
Still, I found most of them engaging, though only a couple really stuck with me. My favorites were probably "His Wicked Way" by Felicity Brandon and "Broomswick Island" by Pen Name K. I also liked "The Sanitorium" by Sarah Greyson, though it ended much too quickly for me. (Note: these three comprise a 2-star and both 3-star stories, so tread carefully here.)

there are 9 authors that have written a compilation of stories that are Halloween themed. Each one is different ranging from spooky romance to some (especially the last one) with more violence. Each story has a star marked against (1-3 stars) going from tame to darker/violent.
worth a read and it has introduced me to authors I have'nt read before.

Really great bundle I'd recommend to anyone who loves dark erotica and with the variation, paired with the rating system, it basically has something for most people.

Wow! I absolutely loved this! Sanatorium horrors always get to me, but this was great for a short. I was turned on, freaked out and outright confused! Great little surprise at the end, I think I kinda suspected, but still made me wonder afterward.

At first I was disgusted, but what a proper way to show justice. This was a great read, if you believe that writing freedom has great power, this shows just how great stories can be when reality is thrown in your face, but made a little sweeter with a touch of fiction.

This was a quick, scary, sexy and dark read of several short stories. I do prefer to get more into a story and the characters than a short story allows, but this was an enjoyable anthology centered around a Halloween theme.

This anthology covers from tame to dark stories. Would definitely recommend this collection for those who like a little fright and some who like some dark sex.

Some of this collection was ok or not to my tastes, but 2 I would rate as 5 stars. I loved Room 113 by SJ Warner. You know a twist has to come based on what he did....and wow did it.
His Wicked Way by Felicity Brandon was another short story I loved. Great story from told from the pov of blindfolded Melissa...in the woods. I'm glad Brandon left us "blindfolded" too even though questions still remain.

Good mix of stories
An electric group of Horror based Dark Erotic stories. The stories were rated for the reader by darkness by a star system from 1-3 stars. This was good for me to avoid trigger stories.
Excellent writing by all authors involved.

If you enjoy dark fantasy erotica, this book is great.
From straight hot sexual scenes, to BDSM, to Oh my goodness moments, this book has them all. Beware not for the faint of heart or someone easily offended. Awesome star code to indicate intensity. Left me wanting more!!!
