I love the artwork, but the story (what story there is) isn't very engaging. It's weird, abstract, humorous, but not really structured (at all) in a way I enjoy. I pushed through the first 4 issues to see if it went anyplace or got more interesting as it went on, but sadly it just bored me.

Still I adore the art style and will likely still get prints of it. Wish the story was as good, for me.

no structure at all so it can be confusing at times but cute and super light hearted

The different art styles from the main story compared to the side/extra stories threw me off a bit. However, I still did enjoy seeing what little journeys Bee and Puppycat got into.

I found physical copies of 1-4 but now I need to read the rest! I have little hope of finding actual copies at a decent price but I would give 1000 Pretty Patrick bills for the rest. 😸

3/5 stars for Bee and PuppyCat, Vol. 1 (Bee and PuppyCat #1-5)~ I'm a huge fan of Bee and Puppycat and Adventure Time, both of which have comic spin-offs. But like some Adventure Time comics, Bee and Puppycat, Vol. 1 just didn't have all the laughs and shenanigans of the show. It only took me about 15-20 minutes to read and the stories felt really disjointed, just randomly moving from one scenario to the next, probably because each was done by different people. It's a cute novelty item to have for Bee and Puppycat fans, but I didn't feel like I'd ever read it again. I'll just watch Bee and Puppcat again for the bajillionth time instead.

Really loved "Plantsapalooza!" for whatever reason, as well as "Play the Game!" But I continue to wish that they would stick with only two stories per issue.

I also realized when reading this that the Bee and Puppycat comics lose some of the humor of the webseries because of the lack of the sounds that Puppycat makes when he talks... it makes some of the punchlines of the stories suffer.
