Chicago native Naomi has made a home with her boyfriend Erik in lush, tropical Hawaii, but she misses certain things about winter now and then. To give her a taste of home, Erik hatches a plan to bring winter to the beach, but it doesn't last long because when their bodies meet, the temperature is always scorching.
Short in length but high in heat, this is the perfect little morsel to read poolside as you may find yourself in need of a cool-down afterward. (Story is approximately 4,000 words.)
I'm that friend you have who's usually pretty quiet, but who likes to chime in occasionally with some horribly inappropriate sexual innuendo or humor. Also, I hate writing bios.
Erik and Naomi are madly in love with one another but Naomi craves a vacation away from their home in Hawaii. She misses the snow, changing seasons, and layering blankets for warmth. Erik compromises and the reader is taken on a quick steamy adventure into pure bliss!
▷Very short story. Erotic. Ice cubes and popsicles involved! Enjoyed!
Don't get me wrong. The writing was promising, but the main issue I had was the plot which wasn't there. The character description was also vague. I don't know how the male and female lead were related to each other. They could be lovers, husband and wife, or anything.... ??? It lacked on so many levels. Anyway, there's always a room for improvement. :) I hope to read a better work from this author in the future.
Overall, I thought that this was a good read. However there was a couple of things wrong with the book. There was one spelling mistake and there was a comma instead of a full stop. But apart from those two mistakes, I thought that this was a good read.
I would recommend this to people who love romance and a short read which should be read by the fireplace during the evening for a cosy read.
Nice, short and streamy as promised. It could support a lot more heat but it's okay. Really reminded of these erotica stories in literotirca. Didn't really have a plot, but sometimes it's just not needed. I can't really get why she missed the snow and the cold so much to be honest. Having a place in Hawaii sounds like a dream coming true.
It did promise to be a short read and delivered on that. I would have preferred more descriptive language, though, it felt more like a reportage. Still, it delved into the sexy part real quick without much ado. It's an ok book for romance lovers.
Scorching winter read, the couple lives in Hawaii and Naomi wants to go somewhere with snow for Christmas. Erik creates a cold sexy scene for them as a prelude. Quickie read full of action!
Quickie read, grammatical errors throughout the book, made the reading tedious the storyline was realistic. I hated the ending and most people (males/females) would have slapped her for what she did to the guy, not that I condone domestic abuse but it would be warranted in this instance.
