Who is Sir!!!???
I am giving this story a 3.5 star rating. I like stories where co-workers/enemies are hiding sexual tension. It happens everyday in real life. This is what happened with Joel and Sarah. A bet was made at work, someone lost, and became the slave of the other for a day. It happens that Joel doesn't want a slave but a genuine relationship with Sarah.
The story took a twist I didn't expect. At first I didn't understand what brought this on. I really wanted to read about the development of Joel and Sarah's relationship. I want more character development. I don't want these people to be shallow and cookie cutter. But I really want to know who "Sir" is. Why is he/she doing this to Sarah? And how will Sarah find out who this person is? Well Joel ever trust her again? I hope all of these questions and more will be answered in the next episode of "As the World...", I mean in "Command Me".

Great Read!
Sarah works hard at her job. But when Joel is leading at the company meeting, she realizes that he has won the bet Will she hold up her end of the deal? It is the way she was raised. So she will be Joel's slave for 24 hours. But during that time they both realize that they want more together. But then the unthinkable happens, Sarah is being blackmailed and part of it is stay away from Joel. She is embarrassed by what Sir is making her do. Will she find out who Sir is before she loses everything, including Joel? This is a great story and I can't wait to read more.

This is actually Dark Desires Book One and Two! Cover and description on Amazon was completely wrong. Regardless, it was free. VERY short, quick read. I didn't even realize that I had transitioned from Book One to Book Two until the end of Book Two and I was left hanging. May possibly get Books Three and Four later on.
As for the storyline itself, it moves along rather quickly - but not so much so that you can't keep up. You've got a gal that should have been done with a guy long ago, but for whatever reason is still hanging on. Then, meets the Dr. MMMMMMM! Enough said!

Intriguing!
The first book drew me in with her "relationship" with Joel. But the second keeps you guessing as to who is trying to control her, entirely! (Although I have an idea) I want Sarah to get a backbone and stand up as the strong confident, successful woman she started out as in the beginning. I will enjoy reading the rest of the series. I like the hint of a real relationship that could grow from their unusual, but very erotic beginning. Would recommend this series where a little sluttiness and a lot of lust is what your looking for.

Uncomfortable
Well written, no spelling or grammar errors.
Very little plot, just words to hang the sex on. The sex is demeaning despite the heroine's evident, graphically described delight. The characters are unlikeable and unrelatable. Maybe this is meant to cater to the extreme end of the submission spectrum, but for me coercion, humiliation and manipulation aren't even slightly sexy.
Two words: sexual harassment.
Two more: Blackmail's illegal.
Final two: utter rubbish.

It was ok, easy to read as didn't take a lot of brain power. Had a story line you could follow. Not my kind of thing in the bedroom but hay ho whatever floats your boat. Have to say the second book became far to unrealistic and I certainly wouldn't waste my money buying the rest in the series seen as I only read the first 2 as they were free (thankfully)

This was a mediocre book, I think could have been longer and the story line did lack a little. There was an element of wanting to know what was happening so that kept me reading, but to say the least, not really that great.

I liked the sexiness of the story but can't understand why this series wasn't made into one book. If you can read two "books" in an hour, they're short stories, not books.

Like the book very easy to read. I started getting annoyed with the main character at the end of the book for obvious reasons, let's see what the other two books do about it.
