An action-packed supernatural horror series about a battle over eternal life!
Nawa Kanetsugu used to be a police officer, until his wife and child were murdered and he sought revenge by any means necessary. In a new quest for vengeance after he’s released from prison, he discovers that a mortal wound won’t kill him. A confrontation with a mysterious girl shows Nawa that he’s eaten the fruit of Yomotsuhegui, the tree in the realm of the dead, and now he’s an immortal with monstrous powers. The girl is a god of death who wants his help to fight other dangerous immortals, since there may still be a seed of justice in his heart. Will Nawa find his humanity again in saving others from supernatural evil, or will these ghastly powers turn him into a monster?
İlk kitabda obrazlarla tanış olmuşduq, bu kitabda keçmişə gedib hadisələrin necə başladığını oxuduq. Əla idi, 3-cü kitabda savaş var və çox maraqlıdı mənə. Ümid edirəm, yola verdi şəkildə yazılmaz, çünki bir oturumda oxunub tez bitir.
Similarly to many other trilogies, the middle book is usually the lowest scoring of them all. I didn't dislike this volume, but it was less exciting than the first.
That being said, we did get more lore on other characters that I really enjoyed, and the story did not drag. It simply wasn't as impressive as the first as far as the content goes.
That being said, the art remains incredible and grotesque. The story is still interesting, and the plot does move forward at a good pace. I really don't have any complaints, it just wasn't quite as good as the first entry.
In this volume we got to learn more about the history behind the fruit, what it does, and how Ren came to be who she currently is. And just wow! Great story, great art, and great questions ask. This volume asks a version of the trolley question to its readers and puts you on a tough spot. Once again the arguments of two sides makes the reader question their morals.
I disegni continuano ad essere splendidi e la storia prosegue che è una meraviglia, finalmente si conosce la storia di Ren Mi domando però come possano concludere il tutto con un solo volume rimasto… o rovinano tutto o fanno il botto
