After being thrown out into the cold by the people who were supposed to take care of him, Grant finds himself walking through the cold snow to find a person willing to take him in. Little did he know, no one in that town cared about him… except for one boy. A boy just like him…
Will they figure life out together or will they choose to take life into their own hands and make everyone pay?
Yess! Such a spicy short book with some serial killer shit :) I do think it could be longer and more detailed how they got together and fell for each other.
This was a different take on a Christmas read lol. It’s short, it’s dark and it’s perfect! Loved every minute of this twisted read. I highly recommend you check it out!
Literally the coolest little murder filled book I've read. I've seen the movie krampus and read the original stories and this one's is a nice take on the idea.
I just finished it and WOW. I actually felt this book and even though they off people lol on Christmas eve. I love a good pull in read that has u flipping pages not wanting to finish. They both was orphans kicked out of their homes on a cold winter Christmas Eve night . Brad and Grant didnt need anyones love, they had their own Twisted Love 💋 Perfect f🍬 love story.
the unhinged unaliving is absolutely stunning!!! I tore through this short story. Brad and Grant meets each other in the most sad way you can think of, but the way they belong together *chefs kiss* amazing job!!!!
This premise delivers a haunting and emotionally raw story about abandonment, survival, and the fragile line between connection and destruction.
At its core, the story follows Grant, a deeply vulnerable protagonist whose world is shattered when the very people meant to protect him cast him out. His journey through the cold—both literal and emotional—sets a bleak tone, emphasizing isolation and the desperate need for belonging. Grant’s pain feels immediate and real, making it easy for readers to empathize with his search for even a sliver of kindness.
The introduction of the second boy is where the story begins to shift. Their bond, built on shared neglect and understanding, becomes the emotional anchor of the narrative. There’s something both tender and unsettling about their connection—it offers hope, but also raises questions about how two broken individuals might influence each other. Will they heal, or will they spiral further into darkness together?
The atmosphere plays a major role, with the cold, uncaring town acting almost as its own antagonist. The indifference of the people around them reinforces the story’s themes of neglect and invisibility, making the boys’ bond feel even more significant.
What makes this story particularly compelling is its tension between two possible paths: healing or revenge. That underlying question—whether they’ll choose to build a life together or make others suffer as they have—adds a layer of suspense that keeps the reader emotionally invested.
Overall, this is a stark, character-driven narrative that explores the consequences of abandonment and the power of connection. It’s both heartbreaking and thought-provoking, appealing to readers who appreciate emotionally intense stories with a darker edge.
Considering its length as a short story, I found it absolutely captivating and remarkable! From the very first page, I was completely engrossed, and I must admit, I was left feeling a bit disappointed when it came to an end so swiftly. In addition to being a quick read, the writing style was superb, and the characters were incredibly well-developed and engaging. The unexpected plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat, constantly trying to predict what would happen next, and the overall tone was simply perfect for a delightful holiday read, making it a truly memorable experience.
I received an advance copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
“Krampus & Claus: A Christmas Serial Killer Short” by B. Shytle is a quick, gritty Christmas novella. When Grant gets kicked out on Christmas Eve, the entire town abandons him; cold and alone, he is rescued by another discarded youth, Brad. Together, they form a bond and become the rejectors. Krampus & Claus are here to punish and seek revenge. This is the perfect fiery, smutty, MM Christmas-themed short to help you reach your end-of-the-year reading goals.
Wow…just wow. From saddening and depressing to demented and deranged in such a short story. LOVED IT!!! B. Shytle is an amazing storyteller. This short story had incredibly well-developed characters for such a short work. You will be hooked on the Prologue and then completely surprised by the turn of events in the remaining chapters. Make sure you read the triggers, but if they don’t bother you, definitely take the time to read.
This short Christmas story was simply to die for 🫢 Brad and Grant meet and the rest well guess you’ll have to grab this and take the time and read it. It’s a quick read but definitely had me hooked from the beginning to end and left me wanting more. Who doesn’t love a MM love story? Who doesn’t love a Christmas story? But I mean..who doesn’t love a good bloody candy cane and being put in their place?? Grab this story by B.Shytle and let us know what you think..
Happy hunting 😘🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵🥵🎄🎄🎅🎅

Two boys thrown out like they are garbage become everything the other needed.
Christmas time is the best time for Krampus & Mrs. Clause to take out their frustrations on the town that never cared about two young boys who deserved better.
I enjoyed the story but I really wish there had been more to it. There could have been more backstory and more about how they got to this night.
I loved reading every bit of this dark, unhinged, super quick read.
Like who doesn't love a little bit of murder action on the holidays.
It's filled with twists, action, deranged characters, revenge, blood and so much more. I was captivated from start to finish. I couldn't get enough of grant and brad.
I don't want to write to much cause it will spoil it, but it's a must read. Highly recommend.
This enchanting and brief novella left a lasting impression on me! It elevated Christmas to an entirely new dimension, and I couldn't be happier about it. Brad and Grant encounter each other under the most heartbreaking circumstances imaginable, yet their connection feels destined. Both were orphans, cast out from their homes on a frigid Christmas Eve night. Nevertheless, they offer hope to others on this special night—what a lovely gift, right? Be sure to check out TWS before diving in.
What a fun short naughty read! Where would you find solace when you are not loved? Also, would you hate a holiday so fiercely because you associate it with the day you were thrown out in the cold. Two orphans who trauma bond and rampage through town on people who have hurt and spurned them. Won’t look at a candy cane the same.
Oh... My.. God.. I absolutely DEVOURED this book!! It is fast paced, to the point, and DEFINITELY one of my top Christmas reads of the year! I will NEVER think of a candy cane the same again lol. Tthe spice was spicing BEAUTIFULLY! If you like Horror AND Christmas, I would HIGHLY recommend this amazing book!
Krampus & Claus is part of the Holiday Stories Series.
This is one super short Christmas type read. This will not get you in the holly jolly spirit, instead we get a dark version of someone's "happy" Christmas tradition. Honestly, you just have to read it as I will give too much away. It is a quick read with a small amount of spice.
After having been pushed out of his foster home on Christmas Eve and finding another little boy named Brad. Grant and Brad years later unleash their kind of fun on the town. I really liked this super short holiday story. Laughing at the use of sharpened candy canes that had to be one of the best parts.
I just finished it and WOW. Lactually felt this book and even though they off people lol on Christmas eve. I love a good pull in read that has u flipping pages not wanting to finish. They both was orphans kicked out of their homes on a cold winter Christmas Eve night. Brad and Grant didnt need anyones love, they had their own Twisted Love. Perfect love story.
Short and Spicey! Love this author and everything she puts out!
Grant and Brad are quite the duo, I wont spoil anything but prepare to be like "awe" then like "wtf" but in the end it was short spicey and just what I needed this start to the holiday season.
Wow! This was fantastic. Short and Spicy just like me ! Seriously though this was a great read it kept my interest and was paced perfectly! The guys were well guys and I am in my MM era son this tracks! I will never look at a candy cane the same.
Loved everything about this book. Perfect love story of serial killers who love each other. I love Grant and Ben and think they did what they felt was deserved for their treatment and revenge. Short spicy, murder Christmas book sign me up.
He’s dark and he’s spicy. I love me some MM and this delivered. Trauma can make you better or bitter and it definitely made these two bitter. It’s super short but it’s not lacking in ten spice department. 🥵
If your looking for a cute Xmas read then give this a miss lol Brad and Grant are young and alone on Xmas Eve until they find each other. They want their revenge and they will get it. Quick read. Wouldn’t complain and would definitely read of this was turned into a longer story in the future.
If you’re looking for a short and spicy Christmas read that has some twists and unaliving in it, then this one is for you. I enjoyed Brad and Grant’s characters throughout this book and everything that happens in between. If you’re looing for a MM story, you will definitely find it in here.
Quick read. This was about grant. He was in foster care and his foster dad kicked him out in the snow on Christmas when he was 13. He had only pajamas on no shoes or anything. This is where he met Brad and they had a ritual every Christmas.
When you are thrown away as a child and taught that there is no joy you may meet up with your love and the two of you grow together to become the Christmas joy Destroyers, Krampus and 'Mrs.' Claus.
all tho mm isn't normally my thing this book was quick read but unhinged aswell I loved the xmas eve part where they used items that were so in theme with the book
