Binding Vows was a great Dark Mafia Romance. I really enjoyed it once I got past the first couple chapters.

For me because I hadn't read the previous book I was a little confused at first, but once I got everything figured out I really enjoyed the story and the characters.....well most of them.

The only thing I'm still trying to wrap my head around is the ending.....like WHATTT!!!???

I NEED the next book like yesterday, I "hate" cliffhangers haha

Binding Vows is the 2nd book in the Binding Devotion Series A Dark Mafia Romance by B. Shytle & M!stress Murder.

I thought that Binding Devotion, the 1st book in this Trilogy was good, well Binding Vows stepped that up, this was an amazing Dark Mafia Romance. I have to say that I really enjoyed this book. I just had to get through the first few chapters; I found it a bit slow in the beginning.

Tori has given birth to Onyx’s son. Tori and Onyx are both thrilled and flying high with their son’s safe and healthy arrival. But Deangelo isn’t so thrilled. And this fact is putting a strain on the relationship/arrangement that the three of them have.

Deangelo eventually gets tired of being so enraged and decides that he’s going to take matters into his own hands. He wants an heir of his own with Tori. But, when Onyx arrives, he totally loses it and flips out and does what ever he has to in order to protect Tori. This sets everything in motion that leads to a string of events that forces Tori and Onyx to do what ever they can in order to protect their little family and friends from this Godfather.

While all of this is going on, Topaz finally begins to actually examine his own feelings and what he’s feeling from Kya. But both Topaz and Kya suffer from their own Trauma and nightmares. But soon they are finding themselves falling in love with one another.

Then Tori discovers that she is indeed pregnant with Deangelos son. Tori believes that this will protect her loved ones, but when she gives birth to Deangelos son, someone she loves will have to sacrifice their life for her and her son.

Binding Vows had a great storyline, plot and subplot. The characters were amazing, well developed, they continued to grow and develop through this story and they felt natural and you could connect with them on a base level. I just can’t say enough how much I enjoyed this novel.

And then I came to that ending. It’s one that I am still trying to get my head around. That cliffhanger is one that threw me for a loop.

Now I need the last book like yesterday. This cliffhanger is driving me insane and I need to know what happens next and I need to know how this trilogy ends.

I could not wait to read this book. Book 1 left on a cliffhanger, and well this one does too.

Tori births her son who does belong to Onyx. While Tori and Onyx are happy about this, Deangelo is not. And that fact strains the relationship/arrangements that they have between them. Eventually after being so enraged, Deangelo decides to take matters into his own hands and get the results he wants; having an heir that is his with Tori. And when Onyx comes, he looses it and does what he does to protect Tori. But that set into motion a string of events that leave Tori and Onyx doing everything they can to protect their family and friends from the Godfather.

Meanwhile Topaz finally starts to look at his feelings he is getting for sweet quiet Kya. But they both have their own nightmares and trauma. And soon they are both falling for the other.

And when Tori reveals that she is pregnant with Deangelos son, she thinks that it will protect her loved ones, but when the baby is born someone she loves will sacrifice their life for her and her son.

This book ends on a cliffhanger once again. And it's not pretty. I am just hoping for a different outcome then what I think is waiting.

This book was absolutely fantastic! The first installment concluded with a cliffhanger, so we were eager for the second book. Tori is now raising her son with Onyx, who is doing everything in his power to protect his loved ones. However, Deangelos is not pleased with this situation. Tori also shares the news that she is expecting a son with him, hoping for a positive outcome. In addition, we get to see more of Topaz and Kya in this book, as they also develop a deep connection and fall in love. Each character has faced significant challenges and emerged stronger. The story concludes with yet another cliffhanger, and I can't wait for the release of book three! I truly enjoyed this read, so make sure to check it out!

Wow once again, this book delivered on so many aspects of the spice and the suspense!! Not cool B not cool. I mean a cliffhanger is good cause it brings the readers back to find out what happens to the characters we have grown to love. The story really leans into the found family aspect with our band of gem named vigilantes. I love the dynamics of all of the relationships. The author does a great job of introducing us to these characters and making us fall for them. I felt like I was part of the group.and I’ve come to care about them and what happens to them, except maybe D’Angelo cause reasons.

Read this book in one sitting! Couldn’t put it down! So much happened in this book that you don’t want to miss! These characters just keep developing. The story just keeps you so interested.

The beginning starts with the birth of Onyx and Tori’s son. Deangelo doesn’t handle the realization that the boy is not his heir very well. Eventually he comes around and they all work through the emotions.
Topaz and Kya figure out their feelings for each other. Of course each of them have their own traumas to sort through.

The ending of this book is just WOW! I hope we don’t start the next book the way I think we might. The wait to find out will feel like forever!

The energy is electric, a perfect mix of tension, heat, and camaraderie that makes every chapter pulse with life. The relationships shine brightest; the way the characters connect feels raw and real, like you’ve somehow slipped into their world and earned a seat at their table. And just when you think you can breathe again… the ending hits, leaving you hanging off the edge with your jaw on the floor.

It’s emotional, fast paced, and filled with moments that make you grin one second and gasp the next. The author clearly knows how to build a team you’ll root for and a world you’ll crave more of.

Absolutely thrilling.

The continuation of Tori and Onyx's relationship. The book opens with Tori having their son. Deangelo is not happy with this situation, and the result is Tori gets pregnant with Deangelo's baby. A dark journey for all concerned and we have another cliffhanger (which was no surprise to me but wanted to point it out). This second installment ends with gunfire and a fade to black. Now to wait patiently for the rest of the story. Also, we get a peek into the budding relationship between Topaz and Kya.

Waiting patiently.

Still waiting 🥰

"There is no better loyalty than that forged in blood."

AHH, I couldn't wait to get my hands on book 2 in the binding series, once I did, I couldn't put it back down. It's dark, intense, gritty, and oh so good.

It's a rollercoaster ride with twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat. I loved the characters, their journey, storyline and plot. It's action filled, packs a punch and has a killer cliffhanger.

I can't wait for the next book, highly recommend.

Binding Vows is book two of The Binding Trilogy.

We see how deep of a loyalty and love Onyx has for Tori. He is willing to do whatever he needs to do to ensure her safety. I loved his utter devotion. Tori is kind of all over the place. She is the leader and wants to be strong but she tends to make some poor decisions. Having Onyx there seemed to help her be calm and work through everything. But now that ending....I need the next book stat.

Binding Vows is book 2 in The Binding Trilogy and continues on from Binding Devotion. Like Binding Devotion, Binding Vows is a dark continuation of Tori and Onyx's very intense, intriguing, dramatic journey and it's not for the faint of heart. Be sure you check trigger warnings before you start reading. It also ends on a cliffhanger so be prepared for the wait to continue this fantastic journey.

She never disappoints with her writing! However, if you're not down for constant cliffhangers and having to wait. Her books are not for you until the whole series is out. Believe me you, you'll be able to binge them fast as they're impossible to put down and this one is no different!

Leaves you breathless and thinking, what the heck? But as with anything from B, I bet there will be answers to a lot of questions, but how long will it take to get them?

If you're into DARK stuff, then come check it out; if not, just keep moving and that's totally fine.

Book 2 of the Binding series starts with a slight time jump forward and a quick recap of what we missed. Tori is married to DeAngelo and is navigating motherhood while still trying to maintain her position within the syndicate. Onyx is her rock through depression, trauma, and drama. We also get to know Topaz and Kya better in this book as their story also unfolds and it is sooooo good! I thought this book started out a little slow but grabbed my attention and ended fantastically. I am so excited to get my hands on book 3 to see how everything plays out!

“I’ll sacrifice myself to protect my family. Always.”

I am speechless and shocked; what a cliffhanger! I seriously need book 3 so I can see what happens. I liked the first book but I absolutely this book. It’s action-packed and steamy. There are definitely some dark elements and will pull on your heartstrings.

So I honestly didn’t like Tori throughout book 1, but I actually really liked her in book 2. I felt like I got more of a sense of why she did things and I enjoyed her character development. I still love Onyx. His love for Tori is so strong. I just really love everything about him. I also enjoyed getting to see more of some of the other characters in the story like Topaz and Kya.

If you want a dark romance that will leave you on the edge of your seat, you should read this now!

Omg. This book was everything plus more. Tori is the epitome FAFO! I am absolutely in love with her and Onyx's dynamic. Then Topaz's story just made my heart melt. This does end on a major cliffhanger....I don't know what to do with myself right now. I will be impatiently waiting for book 3.

Binding vows is an amazing read with a great plot, twists, and of course spice. You definitely need to read Binding Devotion before you hit up this book. A lot of the focus is on Tori and Onyx's relationship and raising Ayden, or their little moon and a surprising twist that massively complicates their lives. Tori suffered from post-partum depression and wanted to spend time with Ayden so she took a step back from the B.C.G.R. She does get back into it further along in the book. I was not really a fan of Tori in Binding Devotion. I liked how big of a baddie she was but I didn't like her relationship choices and she never showed who she was. This book shows she is still a boss but you get a better picture of who she is. Plus, you for sure get a definitive answer on her relationship. And Onyx is still absolutely amazing. He ensures that Tori and Ayden are always taken care of. This book also shines a light on Topaz. He has been haunted by the death of his sister, so he has issues allowing anyone to get close to him. Respectively, Kya has suffered at the hands of monsters. I liked seeing them let their guard down and grow closer.

I love the characters, the plot, and the spice. The one thing I despise about this book is the cliff hanger! I am hoping that it is the plot twist of all plot twists and that I can sob in happiness instead of despair. I can't wait to see what happens in Binding Pacts!
