I found a lot of this information helpful. However some of it contradictory to other good accepted information. The idea of calorie counting for example. This isn't a bad read but I would recommend reading other books as well.
It tells you great info but it also contradicts its self. It does this by saying these are you shouldn't eat but then list them also in food to eat. When you look at the recipes its has a lot of them with the foods it says not to eat. I liked the info about how the thyroid works and things like that, just didn't like it kept going back and forth with what to eat being in the what not to eat.
Some contradictions in what she says but mainly a good source. Seems to agree with other sources on a lot of things. Not sure she's an expert. Sources aren't cited very well or often. All of this makes me question her credibility. But as I said, she does agree with many other sources I've read on much of what it here. Self-published.
I was anxious to read this book. Ready to research more ideas to begin my healing journey. I was confused by some of the recipes that had ingredients that were listed in the book to avoid.
