Unfinished Love #2

Until We Meet Again

Rate this book
In the second book of The Unfinished Love Series, the best friend trio—Avery, Hannah, and Paige—are back for another unforgettable summer at the Exe Apartments. But this time, things are different for Paige.

After watching Avery struggle through a series of toxic relationships, Paige has sworn off dating for good. Determined to protect herself from the heartache her best friend has endured, she throws herself into building her successful business, leaving no room for romance. However, Hannah and Avery begin to worry that Paige’s work obsession is keeping her from experiencing the love she deserves.

In a bold attempt to push Paige out of her comfort zone, her friends challenge her to find a date for Hannah’s upcoming wedding. Reluctantly, Paige agrees, though she's terrified of ending up like Avery, who has suffered through one damaging relationship after another.

As she embarks on her search for the perfect plus-one, Paige’s journey is filled with unexpected twists—each more complicated than the last—and the outcome could leave her questioning everything she thought she knew about love ... and herself.

Whoa, I felt like this second book was even better than the first. Probably because I can relate more to the FMC, Paige, more than Avery in book one.

Second book of The Unfinished Love Series, this book follows Paige, Avery’s best friend. Things have changed, Paige now owns her own nanny business, and now has staff. She’s not looking for a relationship, but with their friend Hannah’s wedding coming up, both Hannah and Avery encourage Paige to find a plus one. Hannah knows just what to do and sets Paige on a blind date. At the bar, before meeting the blind date, Paige meets a peculiar man wearing a Hawaiian shirt. They start talking and their conversation and teasing hits just right. She leaves without his contact information. Since the bar, this Hawaiian shirt man is on her mind and he just happens to end up in places she frequents. She starts becoming more and more interested in him but for some reason, he seems to be so mysterious…

Bailey, you did it again! A book I finished all in one sitting. You did good and I’ll tell you this, the plot twist, my jaw dropped, legit dropped and my husband had to ask me if I was okay. These romance books you’re writing, they are not just any easy going miscommunication romance book! Definitely did not see it coming and excited to see if you continue with this series!!!

Until We Meet Again by Bailey Thomas is hands down my favorite book by this author so far.

Paige is understandably hesitant to date after everything that happened to her best friend Avery, so it takes some convincing from Hannah and Avery to get her to agree to a blind date. But the real twist? Michael isn’t even her blind date. Their connection is completely unexpected, and from the very beginning, the chemistry between them is undeniable.

I loved how Paige and Michael kept running into each other—it really gave their story a natural, almost fated feel. When Paige goes to Michael’s place of business, I started to suspect there might be a deeper connection to Avery, and unfortunately… I was right.

The reveal that Michael is Kyle’s brother was absolutely heartbreaking. My heart broke for both Paige and Michael in that moment. It added such an emotional depth to the story and really tested their connection.

Despite everything, I loved that this story gave them a second chance. Watching them find their way back to each other was exactly what I wanted and needed by the end.

This book had the perfect blend of chemistry, tension, heartbreak, and healing. Definitely my favorite Bailey Thomas read yet, and I can’t wait to see what comes next. 💛

Until we meet again
This was the second book of the unfinished love series.
This was more Paige she was as never Intresting I. Dating after the trauma her best friend went through Avery in book 1 but Hannah of the girl group was getting married so she set her up on a blind date so she had a plus one for the wedding but that blind date wasn’t what she wanted.
As she go on her search for a perfect plus one Paige’s journey is filled with unexpected twists each more complicated than the last! The outcome is a shock and I teallly felt for her she finally allowing herself to fall for someone only for it to be something she never thought he be. I again devoured this in one day ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ loved it!

This is the second book in this series and it follows Paige. I loved her in book one so I was excited to dive into her story and it didn’t disappoint.

The best friend trio once again is proved to be best friend goals. They stood up for each other and to each other when they needed too. No matter the situation they always had each other’s backs.

and HELLO walking red flags! At one point I thought these woman must have a red flag radar and follow it 😂

I cannot wait for Hannah’s story because that wedding scene 😳😳

4.5/5. Paige, Paige, Paige…

The plot twist had my jaw on the floor and looking back I love the subtle foreshadowing. Another great romance with FMCs I can root for, and FMCs I always want the best for. This was a quick paced romance, without the all too common miscommunication troupe I have come to hate. I found Paige to be frustratingly real at times, and the characters had depth. Really excited to read Hannah’s story in August!

This book allowed us follow Paige as she made a journey into being spontaneous and falling for her own Mr. Right. She has some major hurdles to overcome as she meets someone as motivated as her. Paige is fiercely loyal to those she loves and is always putting others first. She has a really good head on her shoulders and it was fun to see her rationalize throughout the book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. One of my favourite things was seeing that the friendship between the girls was still just as strong — it honestly added so much warmth to the story. The characters felt familiar in the best way, and it was really nice being back in their world again. Definitely a sequel I enjoyed from start to finish.
I loved the twist and turns.
The ending made me so happy 😊

"Heartbreak doesn't stop someone from having a happily ever after. It's simply a small chapter to the greater love story at hand."

When I say that the twist in this story made my jaw drop, I am not exaggerating. I was literally flabbergasted but equally fascinated.

I love the best friend trio of Paige, Avery, and Hannah. These women are the cutest together. They keep it real with each other and stand up for one another and love each other. Simply put, they're BFF goals.

The men in their lives.. they have a tendency to be something else..
Can we say walking red flags?!

Paige's story is relatable in the sense that I feel women definitely can go through the heavy things life throws at you and still come out on the other side stronger and more resilient than ever before.

I'm not going to spoil the story, but I am happy this book ended the way it did, and I can't wait to see what's in store for these ladies in the future and especially for Hannah's story because ahh that wedding scene was 😲 YES girl!

I like this book more than the first one book because it was more developed. I’m quite shock that I didn’t put the 2/2 together. That the guy she started to like is her best friend ex bf brother! What? It was a fun read, but I’m looking forward to the 3rd book.
