In Hidden Emma Kurtzler is still in love with Wil Jacobson, but feels that six months is not a long enough time after her husband's death to agree to court and marry will openly in the Amish community.

One morning Emma visits an elderly neighbor and finds him dead on his kitchen floor; the Amish Secret Widows' Society has another murder to solve. Each one takes a part in the investigation and finds clues that help solve another murder in the Lancaster Amish community. The key to solving is to figure out what was Hidden by Frank the elderly Amish man that was killed. I do love a good clean mystery with a good touch of romance.

I am typically a huge fan of Samantha Price and her series. This book was a huge miss. Just way too much, the mystery is convoluted and outrageous. Too much is thrown into the last 20% of the book, and the book is only 160 pages long! Hidden would have benefited from an editor to pare down the crazy that comes out of nowhere, or another 50–100 pages to allow for the book to evolve and make sense.
It makes me question whether or not I will read another of her books.

Hidden: Amish Mystery (Amish Secret Widows' Society Book 2) is a wonderful continuation of this series. In book 2, the Amish Widows' secret society has to help solve another murder. An elderly Amish man is found dead and his cottage is ransacked. What could the killer be looking for, and who was the killer. It is up to the Amish Widows' secret society to help the police solve another one. All the while, Emma, and Wil have problems of their own. Never a dull moment. In all candor, I was so fortunate to receive received a complimentary copy. Regardless, I would read every one. When you read one of Samantha's books, you can't wait for the next one. Thanks again Samantha Price for your wonderful adventures.

This is book 2 in the Amish Secret Widow's Society series. Samantha never lets you down with her wonderful writing and her characters. You like Amish stories or a good mystery then please check out her books.

In Hidden there is a murder and the widow's have come together to solve the crime. Someone is being deceitful about who and why they are there in this Amish community. See if you can figure it out. I sure didn't guess right who done it. Pick up book 1 and keep going on with this wonderful series.

Hidden by Samantha Price is the second book in the Amish Secret Widows’ Society. Emma Kurtzler stops in an elderly Amish neighbor’s home to let him know about a change of plan and finds him dead on his kitchen floor. She again plays sleuth with the widows to discover who is the guilty party. Another enjoyable Amish mystery with Ettie and Elsa-May as well as three other widows.

What a mystery! I was kept intrigued by the many possibilities of what really happened.
The romances developing were also mysterious!

Another mystery for the Amish Widows to solve. An older gentleman of the community is found dead. As well as it's discovered that he's though to have stolen art work. Emma again is involved in a mystery. There is romance involved as well.

Well written Amish Mystery

I love the characters in this series! They seem so real, the indecisiveness when it comes to matters of the heart really rings true. Wil and Emma's relationship makes perfect sense, I can understand why she wants to wait, and Wil is such a sweet man. I can't wait to read the next book to see how the relationship between them progresses. I always enjoy when an animal is included in a story line and with this one we have Growler. As if romance isn't enough there is also a well written murder mystery that isn't easy to figure out which moves the story along at a fast pace. Amish fiction readers will enjoy this series, but anyone who enjoys mystery,romance, and a bit of suspense should give it a try as well.

This book was just as good as the first. The author has a way of making you wonder who the culprit is until the very end.
