This was an enjoyable, nostalgic trip to Crystal Lake, where people have been keeping an eye on Jason, but also outside his walls, the world has fallen.

It's a fast-paced read, but not without its issues- mainly grammar and typos. The author does address these at the end but I can't help feeling a little more care and attention would have caught a lot of the errors. Saying that though, I did enjoy being back in the world of Jason, and I like the idea of more stories featuring other supernatural killers. Some of the deaths are typical Jason style, so that was good to read. Jason is also portrayed on a more emotional level as well, which was interesting- you kinda started to feel for him.

Overall, it was an ok read. If you fancy reminiscing about Crystal Lake and have an hour or two to spare, then it's worth your time.

This was my first fan fiction book and I can’t wait to check out others with all the possibilities! Wish it was a tad bit longer but it was still short and sweet.

Felt true to the spirit F13 movies.

A true homage to the movies, but with a new twist. Never has Jason been so relatable. The Easter eggs and call backs felt natural not forced.
