In the far future of the year 2032, life in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the United States of America is a daily fight for survival and precious vital resources. Roving bands of bloodthirsty degenerates, their minds addled by the morality-deteriorating effects of death metal’s influence, prowl the desolate landscape in search of victims to rob and torture.
Amidst this horrifically bleak dystopian setting, a small paramilitary faction known as Defense Condition carves out a life for themselves by mounting their motorcycles and standing tall against the tyranny of the nefarious death-worshiping hordes. This tight-knit band of rogues are about to go up against the ultimate evil.
Led by a deadly femme fatale, one sect of demonic maniacs overshadows all others in the severe extremes of their merciless occult savagery. They are the most ruthlessly satanic blood-fiends to ever walk this Earth. They are the legions of hell. They are the descendants and acolytes of death metal royalty. They are the Children of the Gore.
This novel is a stand alone sequel to the extreme horror novel Genital Rot. It takes place years later, with a new cast of characters, and does not necessitate any prior reading.

This one is a flawlessly paced wild ride through a post-apocalyptic wasteland. It's unrelenting, brutal and bleak.
You don't need to read Genital Rot to enjoy it, but I thought having done so improved the experience. The vibe was, surprisingly, completely different though, it's really its own thing. Where Genital Rot reveled in the violence and brutality Children of the Gore indulges in it.

This is a stand alone sequel to Genital Rot, which takes place 20 years later. A post-apocalyptic action horror, whereas Genital Rot was an extreme horror, this story is just as gripping, exciting, and powerful. It's also brutal, the killings depicted within are barbaric, bloody and remorseless.
20 years later and the effects of the band Genital Rot and their worshipping fans is being felt more than ever, it's tearing America apart and the results are devastating. The Children of Gore are rising up and bringing devastation and corruption with them, challenged only by Defense Condition, a group of adults intent on overpowering the children.
Oliver paints a very bleak apocalyptic landscape, where survival is key, however that may come about.
This is a fast paced story, with lots of action-packed, relentless, remorseless and extremely violent fight scenes, and some absolutely badass weaponry. Weaponry that is matched only by the savage kills they dish out!
Depravity, debauchery, gore, sex....and so much leather and metal! Ending in all out bloody chaos and carnage!
TO THE BITTER DREGS!! 🤘

This book is fucking awesome. I really dug the metal + post-apocalyptic Mad Maxesque aesthetic. The story is a brutal splatterpunk adventure through a heavy metal wasteland with vibrant bloodthirsty characters and constant action. I couldn't put it down! Having not yet read Genital Rot, the story is definitely stand-alone so one does not need to read GR first, though after reading, I bumped GR to the top of my TBR.
