Shannon. Beckett Cohen has been searching for her after that humiliating night in his apartment, and he finally found her again. Beaten and hiding from someone. And he’ll be damned if he lets anyone hurt her ever again.
When Jamie Pittman walks into the clubhouse—a joke played on her thanks to her new stepbrother—Undertaker is beyond smitten. The problem? She’s young and inexperienced at a fresh age of twenty-two, and he’s no good for her. He’s obsessive and possessive, and he needs rules in a relationship most women find overbearing. The second problem? She is far too willing to give it a shot. But can she really handle it?
Brock Bradshaw finally identifies the man after Shannon as a powerful man who owns most of the powerful people in the state. So, when Beckett decides to take matters into his own hands without the club, Brock knows it’s a bad idea. Terrible, even, but he won’t let Beckett do it alone. He needs to prove something to himself.
The plan backfires and lands Brock in prison with Beckett and a stab wound. No communication to the outside world. Guards and a warden owned by the very man they tried to take down. He needs to get out of prison, but how? He’s not even allowed to talk to his lawyer, and there’s no date on the books for a trial. How does he get himself out of this one?
Logan Gray is a writer and authorpreneur who likes to create books like artists like to create art. Description is important, but she wants to allow the reader to make the story their own. While she wants to give the reader what he or she needs to see the picture she's trying to depict, she doesn't want to fill the pages with unnecessary description to restrict how the reader views the characters or places.
While this may not appeal to all readers, she hopes it appeals to others who like you add their own touch to the story. Maybe they would rather the walls be white instead of gray. Maybe they'd like to envision the person is tall instead of average height. While the description as she sees it is there, it's not written so strongly the own interpretation cannot be made and applied. It gives the reader some creative freedom in a hobby that isn't always as flexible.
One of the better books in the series, but you can't read as a standalone. Completely impossible. This has a million different POVs which is annoying as I don't gravitate to books like it. I actually despise them. This was pretty fast pace, and completely unrealistic. I don't like promiscuous FMCs and this writer does like her hoes. Reading about an 18 yr old nympho is not my idea of a good time, but hopefully she won't turn into a main character. All the other FMCs are up to their ol shenanigans. Trying too hard to be badasses and make me roll my eyes. 🙄 Lex is still Saint Lex the Avenging Warrior Goddess. Which another huge eye roll. Beckatt get's his HEA with Shannon his childhood friend, turned prostitute, turned lady love. Not her choice to turn tricks just wanted to add. While Undertaker, yes his real name changed by him, is finding love with Jaime. But a blast from his past is back, and could cause trouble. Also, Undertaker is a huge red flag, but Jaime's into it. Hailey is being Hailey which equals a chip on the shoulder and a bitch to Gavin basically using him for sex. She's kidnapped in the end by traffickers because of course she is. Venom finally breaks up with Cinder the nutter, but I don't think it's the last we will see of her. Venom is still in love with Marnie, but is having a hard time forgiving her. I think that's about it. 🤷 Oh, and the serial killer. How could I forget? Which Undertaker's ex may become their next victim. Pretty sure it's a guy though.
Wanted to add these books are not edited very well. There are multiple mistakes with incorrect words being used, but I'm trying to overlook it because I know the author probably does this herself. Indie authors have it rough and I do understand that. But compared to the first book in the series which was almost unreadable, this is miles better. Just wanted to put that out there.

Every time I think this series has peaked, the next book proves me wrong. There's something about the way the storylines evolve and the characters keep growing that makes it feel like you're not just reading—you’re living alongside them. I love how the dynamics keep shifting, and how even after so many books, nothing feels recycled.
What really pulls me in is how each character has space to breathe. We get these little windows into their minds and lives, and it makes everything feel deeper, more connected. Some arcs had me cheering, others had me side-eyeing the pages like, really?! this guy again? But that’s half the fun—loving some, doubting others, and getting way too invested in what’s coming next.
And okay, the ending? Classic cliffhanger move. I saw it coming, and still wasn’t ready. There’s just never a good stopping point with this series—I always want more. It’s intense, raw, emotional, and honestly just ridiculously addictive in the best way.
If you love bold characters, wild turns, and stories that aren’t afraid to get gritty while still delivering serious heart? You’ll eat this up.
This series just gets better and better with every book,it’s definitely one of the best MC series ever written. In Consequences we have all our favourite characters back, Lex and Colt are going strong and Colt is where he was always meant to be, at the head, with Lex right by his side. Venom is heading in the right direction after getting rid of his hang on, Zane is still off his head and I think his future isn’t bright. I really couldn’t take to Undertaker, unfortunately, found him creepy, lol. This does end with a cliffhanger, like all the books, absolutely can’t wait for the next one to come out.
Goodness. The book is definitely named correctly because as we all know for every action is a reaction aka consequence. This book will keep your attention with all the action and the situations the fellows are getting into. It's great to see Lex getting back to more of herself than she has been. I was not expecting that cliffhanger. I can't wait for the next book.
I like that the characters had chapters in this story. There was a lot happening with the characters. Some things were resolved in the story. Other parts are still going on. Plus the cliff hanger with Hailey and Lindsey is very suspenseful. Looking forward to the next book in the series. The women are strong and resilient. Thank you Logan this story was absolutely riveting.
This book was so good. All the characters have chapters in this story. I really like that. This way, I can find out what's happening with them in more detail. There are some stories resolved, and others are not finished yet. The cliffhanger is a nail-biter. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
A brilliant read, exciting with many plots, dangerous, daring outcomes, love all the characters in the Drifters ❤️❤️❤️ cannot wait for the next book. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤
Wow. For the 20th book in a series, you almost expect a story to be a little repetitive, but this storyline is fantastic! The full circle moments for OG characters are amazing and the new additions are fantastic!
