Return to a world of secrets and desires. In the sultry second installment of an eBook original serial from the New York Times bestselling author of Ruined and Addicted, Aria and Sebastian turn up the heat. But will they get burned?

My name is Aria Winston. I’ve fought desperately to escape the seedy underbelly of Las Vegas. Now I’m on my own, in control of my own life and my own destiny . . . just the way I like it. Until Sebastian Caine changes everything.

If getting tangled up with her new boss is wrong, Aria doesn’t want to be right. Powerful men usually have a way of thinking they can take whatever they want while giving nothing back, but Sebastian is different. He’s gentle with her body. Rough in all the right places. And hot enough to make Aria break every last rule she’s set for herself. But with her history, it’ll take more than mind-blowing sex to heal the pain deep inside . . . no matter how good Sebastian’s intentions are. She’s spent her entire life fighting for control of her own life, and no one’s going to take that from her. But the more time she spends in Sebastian’s world, the deeper she’s drawn into his sensual games.

Play Me is an erotic serial intended for mature audiences. Aria and Sebastian’s story continues in Play Me: Hard.

I was a bit disappointed with the second book in this series.
Last night I fell asleep at least three times trying to read the first 57% of it. Now my close friends know that I tend to doze off a lot, but if a story is a little boring, well then it is a sure fire guarantee I am going to be catching extra z's on my couch.

Aria and Sebastian are in his office at the casino. He is showing Aria his sexy DOM like ways and she is proving to be a natural Submissive. Sebastian seems to have Aria under his spell and she is following all of his commands.
Sounds hot right? Yea! It was hot but by the time I got to the 57% mark, the sex had not happened yet and we were still in the office with these two, and just experiencing kinky foreplay. I've never read a story where the foreplay goes on for 57% of the story!!

FINALLY, they have sex! It was hot and I do love when there is a little biting. Like on the shoulder. Maybe once. I think Sebastian went a little too far with marking Aria. I didn't care for it. After the sexy times are over, Aria feels off kilter. She's thinking Sebastian has gotten what he wanted and will be done with her. However he's looking for so much more with her. She goes back to work but is in a fog and totally off her game. I was not aware that great sex could make a woman act like she's in a drunken stupor.

I did like that Sebastian sees how disoriented Aria is and he feels a strong need to protect her. I was also just happy that we got a little bit of a story to go along with the incredibly long foreplay scene!! LOL

Aria and Sebastian quickly become further entwined with each other.

The second volume of Play Me is aptly entitled HOT, and indeed this part is absolutely scorching. Their sexual relationship is delightfully explored practically the whole way through. Lovely

Sebastian takes our heroine out of her comfort zone in the bedroom, but I so wish he'd pushed those boundaries more.... a LOT more. The story is themed towards control and kink, hinting at BDSM but I didn't feel that aspect as convincingly as I would've liked. The heroine goes into

Play Me: Hot is faced paced with an insta lust feeling and despite my slight reservations, is a very SEXY second part to an entertaining and enjoyable erotic serial.

4 Appropriately Named Stars

This second installment is hot! Sebastian and Aria have had this attraction and pull to each other from their first meeting. Play Me - Hot begins exactly where Play Me - Wild left off, they are in Sebastian’s office and he asking Aria to decide if she wants Sebastian.

In the beginning it is easy to believe that Sebastian just wants to dominate Aria. While that does come up it is obvious while he is attracted to her physically, he is also has a strong desire to protect her. You have to remember the type of work Sebastian did prior to coming to the casino, he wants to be her hero. Aria is strong and determined, but as we learn most of it is a front. I can't wait to learn more about Aria’s past and what she needs as the series continues.

So while this installment is mostly sex - very hot sex, it goes by super quick. I was going through it fairly quickly and then it was just done, onto book 3. I think this series has a lot of momentum and the books go by really fast, which is good for serials. I am eager to see how things play out between these two.

The first step of Serial Addiction is admitting you have a problem... My name is Eliza and I'm addicted to this serial. Is it an addiction I want to overcome? Heck no!

The first book left me with a taste for more and the second has done nothing quench that. In a single intense scene between Sebastian and Aria, we witness how explosive their chemistry is. For a moment I suspected it was going to go the way of the Dom/Sub type relationship but was glad to see that there are more layers to their story.

No, what I want from Aria is something completely different. In the end, I want to build her up, not break her down. I want to give her control, not take it away. I want her strength, not her submission.

More of Aria's past is eluded too and a bigger picture being painted to explain her desperate need for independence. As intuitive as Sebastian is, he knows there in more to Aria that meets the eye and his initial need of her is replaced with another kind.

In the second novella of the Play Me Series, things are downright HOT. 95% of the story takes place in Sebastian's office. It is quite steamy and both Sebastian and Aria are definitely attracted to one another and have an intense physical and emotional connection.

 photo kisssing_zps1a19b586.gif
There's so much I want to do to her, want to do for her. I ache to touch, to smell, to taste, so badly that for a moment I'm paralyzed. My mind is a red haze of want, of need.

We get a little of Aria's past. Aria definitely has a fear from her past and it's dark. While Sebastian is dominant and controlling, she feels safe with him as opposed to her past. But is what these two are feeling for one another possible or can their past stand in their way?

Onward to book 3......But I did have a slight issue with this novella -

In this second installment things really heat up between Sebastian & Aria. Aria is still trying to be on her own & survive in Vegas, but she feels like her control is slipping away when she's with Sebastian. He's gentle & kind, but also dominant & controlling. He makes her desperate with desire for him when he's near, where she just wants to drown in him. She is trying to figure out his intentions towards her, but also enjoying what he's giving her sexually, & to her surprise emotionally. It is erotic & sensual, & more intense than any other intimate encounter she has experienced. Sebastian is quickly falling for Aria, & can't get enough of how responsive she is to him. He wants her like he hasn't wanted a woman in a long time.

-"I need-"

-"There's no shame in asking for what you need," he tells me, and this time I can feel his breath on my lips."

-"I need your mouth."

-And then he's kissing me, his mouth open and wet and ravenous against my own.

 photo 91cabe04-3b14-487d-9977-1ca875238876.jpg

-I want everything she has, everything she is. And I will have it. Eventually.

-I kiss her. Wickedly. Crazily. I kiss her and kiss her and kiss her, until I can't tell where she begins and I end. Until her lips are swollen and so are mine. Until her mouth and this moment are the only things that matter.

 photo adice.gif

-She's the sexiest damn thing I've ever seen.

-I've never wanted anyone the way I want Aria right now.

-It's pleasure and pain, ecstasy and agony, dark and raw and perfect.

3.5 - "I want to give her the world. Not make her afraid of it." Stars.

The heat notches up a tad in the second installment of Tracy Wolff’s Play Me series.

Sebastian and Aria, are definitely not just nurturing a boss/employee relationship anymore, and I think it is fair to say that a Dom/sub relationship is likely to be explored more as the novellas progress.

I am really enjoying this series so far, although to be fair it is only the second novella of five. Tracy has offered up some inventive sexy-times, and a guy that has a talented tongue in more ways than one!

”I want my name on your lips. Almost as much as I want your taste on mine.”

Onto part 3, let’s see where Ms. Wolff takes Sebastian and Aria as well as this reader next!

I'm in so much trouble right now...

Maybe it's the fact I read book 1 and 2 back to back but I'm lost...
For me, Play me wild was good and promising. But Play me Hot... I don't know, I can't find the words.

70% of the book is about sex. Sebastian becomes a Dom out of the blue.
Seriously I haven't seen that coming AT ALL! Maybe I should have read reviews before but for me it was a total surprise. And how it's mentioned felt awkward.

While some of the sex part were quite goo, it was like I only read about the same scene for a good portion of the book.

Sebastian wants Aria so much he almost loose control. There are pages and pages where he speaks about what he wants to do to her.

Aria wants him but she is not sure she wants to let him in. She is not a stranger to what kink and BDSM is but she is not sure she wants it for her. Yet she feels this attraction toward Sebastian.

I found this book very confusing. It goes off in all different directions.
We don't learn anything interesting about any of them.

While we know Aria has secrets. Something happened to her but still not a word.

I don't know at this point if I will continue this serial until the end. For now I'll try book 3 and see if it gets better but at the moment I feel no connection between them. And I can't bring myself to care for any of them either.

If getting tangled up with her new boss is wrong, Aria doesn’t want to be right. Powerful men usually have a way of thinking they can take whatever they want while giving nothing back, but Sebastian is different. He’s gentle with her body. Rough in all the right places. But the more time she spends in Sebastian’s world, the deeper she’s drawn into his sensual games.

Play Me #2: Play Me Hot is the second installment of the Play Me series, Sebastian continues his lesson on control but never anticipated Aria to be such a responsive quick learner. Tempted out of his control, it snaps leaving her pushed too far and withdrawing into her self. So far he has proven himself the same as the other high roller "whales" she services nightly.
In the end, I want to build her up, not break her down. I want to give her control, not take it away. I want her strength, not her submission.

At this point, the past of the two is still unknown, but their quest for control is strong...confused and tormented by the intensity of their need. Aria wants to be strong but hates the way Sebastian makes her feel needy and weak, she can't think when he is around. Sebastian is disgusted with his loss of control, marking her as his in every way possible, at this point I'm confused at his methods for teaching. He wants to show her she in charge, but then makes more decisions for her removing her control. Luckily our heroine is strong enough to push back. Moving on to the next installment needing to know who they really are and where they are headed.

5 HOT Stars

Play Me Hot succeeds as a follow up to book one. Picking up exactly where they left off, the connection between Sebastian & Aria feels as undeniable to the reader as it does to the characters. The author manipulates this feeling of control between a desire and possession again with book two. Most of this installments gives us their first sexual encounter together. Off-the-charts HOT. The passion exuded from both of these people keeps you glued to the pages.

Being a novella, it’s short and easy to read through in one sitting especially since the writing pulls as far into the characters orbit as you can be. Sebastian’s needs for Aria, his compulsion to care for the fragility she hides behind her strength provides a safe haven of belief from the reader. He can read her like a book and is drawn to reactions so much so he pulls her apart inch by inch. Whispers of dominance and submission come into play during their first encounter. It’s a softer kind of dominance laced with a delicate submission. Different than the usual BDSM I’ve read yet just as intriguing, just as special.

We get clues and ideas about their pasts but never find out what their story is which just adds to the intrigue of the plot. We’re left wondering how much Sebastian can really break down Aria’s walls and when will she see the scars of his past as well?

There are parts of this story, during their long sex scene, where the language and structure gets repetitive but it’s really so passionate it can be overlooked. Each novella leaves you hanging a bit at the end but not without having already made you want to know more throughout the entire story. Play Me Hot is another great installment.

Aria has accepted the offer made by Sebastian. The chemistry can’t be denied that is for sure. Sebastian is planning on showing Aria how to gain the control he knows she desperately wants. By exerting his control over her, he’ll show her through surrender.

This installment was pure heat. Their first encounter was erotic and did not slow down one bit. The only thing that I had trouble digesting was the instant sub-space situation. It felt a little awkward. But overall this serial is shaping up to be a hot read with enough intrigue that leaves me wondering what is in their pasts. Something forced him to need this much control and something has her running... just what that is, remains unknown.

Still it's not enough, She's given me so much--her body, her trust. Yet I want more I want everything she has, everything she is. And I will have it. Eventually. For now, I;ll keep pushing for--and taking--everything she wants to give me.
Part 2 starts right after part 1 and it's basically just sex and orgasms. looootttsss of sex.

Sebastian wants to show Aria what it feels like to be in control yet lose control at the same time. When Aria caves and pleads for his touch, he's more than willing to give everything to her. After being satisfied sexually, Aria finally realizes what she's done. After seeing the marks Sebastian left on her body, memories from the past come pouring in and the tough girl facade Aria puts up is suddenly gone. Sebastian realizes the change and is determined to discover the cause of the change one way or another.

I enjoyed this book, however, the emotional attachment wasn't there for me. The sex was epic and hot, but I guess the author did a really good job of separating the sex and the emotion, cause when it was over, it was over. I did enjoy how wound up Sebastian was by the end, its nice to see the guy be the one who is overanalyzing every once in a while...

Now that was scorching hot. This story takes up moments after the first book, when Sebastian has asked Aria a question. She answers his question not only with words, but with her body. With her inner musings, we gain a little more insight into Aria's background.

This book is mostly a moment in time with the two of them, their inner thoughts and how they respond to each other. But with their inner thoughts you gain so much perspective on who they are.

This story was originally released as a 5 part serialized novel (Play Me Wild, Play Me Hot, Play Me Hard, Play Me Real and Play Me Right) but has since been released as a bind up called Play Me: The Complete Story. Although I read this in instalments I'm posting a single review for the entire book. This story works as a complete stand alone but it does feature a cameo appearance from Ethan Frost who has his own series.

Aria has left her family and her controlling father behind her and is struggling to make ends meet working as a cocktail waitress in a local casino. When she loses her temper with one of the casino's big spenders who was getting a little too rough she knows she's blown it and is sure to lose her job but she hadn't counted on the new boss. Sebastian never intended to take over his father's casino but when he is called in run the show after his father suffers a heart attack he quickly realises that things have got to change. He won't tolerate his staff being treated poorly no matter who the client is and he's determined to shake things up a bit. The connection between Aria and Sebastian is instant and intense but will Aria risk everything by sleeping with the boss?

One thing I can say for sure about Play Me is that it's hot as hell, Sebastian is a delicious Dom who knows exactly what he wants and he's not used to being denied. The sex scenes in this story are absolutely scorching and it was very, very easy to see why Aria would fall under Sebastian's spell, I'd certainly find him impossible to resist! This is only the second book I've read by Tracy Wolff but it definitely won't be the last, in fact after seeing the cameo from Ethan Frost I'm planning on diving into his series very soon.

As much as I loved the chemistry between Sebastian and Aria I did feel things moved far too quickly between them. I guess that this is probably because of the serialised format - you have to hook readers into the relationship very quickly and keep them there to make sure they want to continue reading. I just think it could have been so much better if we'd been made to wait for the characters to act on their intense attraction, I think as it was everything happened so fast that I struggled to believe it. This was especially true when you learn more about Aria's background, I don't think there is any way that someone who has been through what she had would be so quick to jump into an affair with a man in such a position of power over her. It wasn't even the speed of them getting down to it that I had an issue with (although I think that was fast too!) but within a week of meeting they were head over heels in love and thinking of marriage and I didn't feel like they'd taken enough time getting to know each other outside of the bedroom.

I may have had an issue with the speed of their relationship but I still really enjoyed their story, I love the author's writing style and I would pick up another book about these characters if the author decided to write one. In the meantime I'll definitely be devouring the Ethan Frost series and keeping an eye out to see if Sebastian and Aria make an appearance in there too.

5 "Wow, that Was Hot" Stars!

Book 2 in the Play Me series begins where Book 1 left off, and let's just say it starts off super hot and steamy! Nearly the entire book revolves around Sebastian's and Aria's first experience together and the after effects.

While we got hints that this might be a promising new BDSM series in Book 1, it is now clear that Sebastian definitely has some creative ways for teaching Aria about control and self-empowerment; and I, for one, can't wait to see what additional lessons he has in mind! Additionally, one thing is for certain: this couple has just begun to scratch the surface of discovering each other, both in the sensual sense, and as it relates to what clearly hints at some deep dark secrets.

In book 1, we learn that although Aria comes from a different walk of life, today she is finding a way to survive financially as a cocktail waitress at the "High Rollers" section of the Atlantis casino in Las Vegas. It is her near firing, while dealing with a particularly "grabby" customer, that leads her to meet Sebastian, the casino's owner's son.

Sebastian may have been gone from the family business for the past 10 years, but now that he is back, and actually the one running the show (in light of his father's illness), he is intent on changing the way things are run. At the top of his priorities, is making it clear that the casino will no longer tolerate the sexual harassment of its employees by customers, even if those customers happen to be billionaires.

From the very first time he meets her, Sebastian is intrigued by Aria. Right away he recognizes her control issues and becomes determined to empower her and unravel her mysteries. Aria, however, while also attracted to Sebastian, has made a vow to never again get involved with a rich man, and above all else, never to cede control.

The power of lust, however, is nearly impossible to resist; and Play Me Hot shows just what can happen when that allure becomes overwhelming. Once Aria comes off that high, however, will she make an exception for Sebastian or stick true to her vow to avoid men like him?

I can't wait to see what happens in the next installment, Play Me Hard! With a title like that, my mind is already conjuring up all kinds of images! I also can't wait to start getting more color as to each character as their pasts are slowly revealed.

This is the second book in the erotic Play Me series by Tracy Wolff. At only 50 pages, it really seemed like one chapter in the overall story. 70% of the book was one scene, Aria and Sebastian's first intimate encounter. It takes place in his office while she's on break and it's intense!

 photo Play978-0-8041-7782-5_zpsbf9053db.jpg

Aria seems to need what Sebastian can give her, however, she resists what he wants to give her, which seems to be everything. We get a few more hints about Aria's past and some of the trauma she's faced, but there are definitely more secrets to find out.

Too late for me to run, too late for me to hide. -Aria

It's hard to give a book this short more than 3 stars. I will say I want to read more and I have a feeling that once we learn more about Aria and get to know Sebastian better, I will get more into it. This one was light BDSM (it used terms I'd never heard before like subspace and subdrop), and definitely hinted at a lot more so if you like books like FSOG, you would like this series.

THE SYNOPSIS SAYS THAT THE HEROINE’S NAME IS ZOE, BUT THE ARC I WAS PROVIDED THE HEROINE’S NAME ARIA SO MY REVIEW USES THE NAME “ARIA”.

It is so hard to rate novellas – 5 part books that are released as novellas since there is so much the author can give the reader and very little that can be said in the review. So here is my opinion about part two of PLAY ME.

First half is mostly sex. The sexual tension was high in the first book so I was glad that these two characters finally got together. However, in a novella, the sex can become a little too much and feel like the entire book was sex. It was hot steamy sex, but as I see 60% pass and it is still a sex scene, I was already like “when are we going to get to the story?” The book is about 55 pages long. However, once these steamy scenes are over we get to learn a little about Aria’s fears. After much thought, I think this part was written the way it was so that the reader was able to connect with the characters.

The second installment of Play Me is exceptionally hot. And it definitely makes up for the fact that there was not one single sex scene in the first installment.

This one is basically one giant sex scene.

The chemistry between Aria and Sebastian is smoking hot. The air kind of sizzles between them.

When I saw the direction this book was headed, I was like, YES! Finally!

But then, when I was at 60% and we're still in the SAME sex scene, I was anxious to learn more about the characters. I know, shocker, right? Me, tired of a sex scene??!!

Subspace. This always goes right over my head. I've never partaken in BDSM kind of sex....(although I've had some pretty exciting sex in my day) and I just can't relate to this.

However, if Sebastian would like to teach me about subspace, I'd gladly learn!!

We do get some glimmers into these characters' lives. And it leaves me wanting more.

And I'm ANXIOUS to read more!!! On to the next one!

I read parts 1-5 consecutively as one book, and therefore will review them all together.

a love at first sight story, with both parties carrying plenty of excess baggage.

I really liked that this had a pretty quick pace. I hate getting shorts where everything just drags. For me, there was none of that here. there was always something happening and it was always moving forward.

parts were a little predictable, not screaming in your face predictable, but more just logical conclusions to the events and info given.

I haven't previously read the Ethan Frost books, so I can only assume from the notes at the end, that the next one will give us details on Aria & Sebastian's progress with their plans.

This book picks up right where book one ended and that's with Aria making a decision that will affect her in the long run, depending on what she chooses. As I read more about Aria and why she changed her name, appearance and lifestyle I realized that if I were in the same predicament I probably would have done the same.

Her relationship with Sebastian is no longer that of boss and employee but something more, something deeper than she ever expected it. It's a matter of time before their pasts come back to haunt them when they least expect it. Loved this second book, and can’t wait to read more in this series. ~ Kara, 4.5 stars

Hot, very hot! Play Me Hot lives up to its name with no trouble at all. Sebastian and Aria got to know each other better, and they both have demons in their past.

Originally released as a serial series but now combined into 1 book !! I do love serials and I can say that if I had read this as a serial , 5pt. series I would have been just as thrilled !! Each part left us with a cliffy yet each new part started off where we left. Both main characters have some big secrets and we are tormented through much of the story without knowing the details of these. it makes you unable to put the book down because you just have to know and if you read faster maybe you will find out sooner !!

Aria is running from her past, on paper she seems like a normal twenty something struggling to make ends meet. Little does anyone know she is anything but. Well she is but she was not brought up that way , she has chosen to live this life now. Full of struggle and hardwork. She needs to have control and this comes from things in her past that were always out of control. Sebastian is very similar. He has spent his life either doing everything to please his father or everything to go against him. Now with his father sick he is in Vegas running the casino/resort business and attempting to finally live life for himself. He is also very controlling in his business and personal life so of course when these two meet it is extreme. A wants to prove she has no desire to be with S and of course S will do anything to make A want him !! They heat up the office , sheets , honestly any surface around. The scenes between them are so very long and detailed. The control or loss of , the emotion the desires , especially in Sebastian's POV. It is crazy to be in his head while he struggles with how he feels vs what he thinks he needs. They take you on a ride with their push/pull but when things get deep the emotion is real. Sebastian's past is heartbreaking , his story is one of loss and guilt. You feel for him and get to understand him better. Aria's past , her secret is the big show stopper !! She is not at all who we thought. Her past is heartbreaking too and you fear for her and feel for her loss.

The end in a sort of HEA. BUT where do they go from there ?? Will we find out more in Ethan's story or will we be left to wonder how Aria and Sebastian make out ??

Play Me #2: Play Me Hot

This is the second installment to the serial "Play Me" by Tracy Wolff and I'm sorry to say that I could barely finish it. It had nothing to do with her writing, which has always been amazing, and everything to do with the subject. This is just not my genre. BDSM is definitely not a genre I go to very often, just because I usually do not like the way the characters treat each other. I will say that I don't know a lot about it, but sometimes I feel like certain authors know even less. I don't know if that's the case with Ms. Wolff, but I just did not appreciate the feelings this book gave me. I was angry and I felt like he saw her as an object that he could immediately bend, mold and utterly control from out of nowhere. In no way does he refer to her as an object, but the way that he thought of himself was just almost like she was his subject and he was just meant to do with her what he wished. I can't really even explain it, but I felt like he thought very highly of his abilities and it ticked me off. Like he believed he was brainwashing her or something. Those of you who may read this and know about the subject could be thinking I'm being very uninformed about it, and you would be right.

I wasn't overly in love with the first of this serial and I thought I had an idea of where it was going at that time. Now knowing where it's headed, makes me even more unsure if I want to continue this series. I can absolutely envision people really enjoying these, but unfortunately I'm just not one of them. I do love Tracy Wolff and I will continue reading her other books, but I will be doing a bit more research about the books beforehand.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for allowing me to read this book.

Aria is scared to lose herself in Sebastian. He's a powerful man, but she can't help the attraction she feels. Aria had to decide if she can put all her past fears aside to be physical with this guy.

I love how Sebastian tends to her even as he commands her to do his bidding. He doesn't want to be seen as an awful guy to Aria. He wants to take care of her, and there's only one way he knows how without losing all control.

Play Me Hot is the second installment in the Play Me series. It literally pick up right where Play Me Wild leaves off.

We learn a little bit more about Aria and Sebastian in this novella. Not only that, but they have some very hot sex. I am not exactly sure if this book would be characterized as BDSM, but there is definitely a dom/sub thing going on. Sebastian says he wants to teach Aria how to be in control of her life, and he plans to do that in the bedroom.

Aria has obviously suffered in the past, and that is where her don't mess with me attitude comes from. Aria is a little messed up after she and Sebastian's intense sexual encounter and she suffers from what Sebastian calls subdrop. I had never heard of this before, but I looked it up and apparently it is something a sub suffers from after an intense sexual encounter, or quite a few of them. I have read other reviews that this term was used incorrectly, but from what I read about it, it was exactly what Aria was experiencing. Sebastian and Aria obviously have an intense connection and you definitely experience that in this book.

Once again the book just ends. I honestly can say I don't get serials like this. That was the only thing that is bothering me about this series so far. Good news is, these books do all release on the same day, as far as I know.

4 stars!
