Divorced and settled into single life, Debra planned a "Girls Night Out" to rival all, arranging a visit to Nexus, a local BDSM club, for a her best friend Katherine. To their surprise, Katherine catches the eye of the club owner, Isaac, igniting a scorching hot connection that has led to their engagement.

Though she loved her visit to Nexus, Debra has shunned her friend’s invitations to become a member, feeling she would be a third wheel to the engaged couple. Then fate intervenes and Debra gets an invitation to Nexus from someone she can’t deny.

In her mid-forties, Debra is on the verge of experiencing a life she never realized she desired. Her new found erotic fantasies have her exploring life’s most taboo behaviors with not one, but two Alpha males who have stolen her heart. Throwing caution to the wind, Debra embarks on a journey to find love, that could ultimately lead to the destruction of her heart.

Believing she’s found the road to happiness, guilt and shame consume her when a tragic loss thrusts her ex-husband back into her life, dredging up regrets of the past.

Will Debra embrace the new life she's discovered at Nexus, or will she allow old feelings and close-minded ideals, to derail her happiness and a chance at love?

I am an Independent reviewer for Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock. I give this book 5 freaking fantastic smoking hot fangs!
Lainie Suzanne brings you the second installment in the Nexus Series, Soleil. I will note that it stands well on its own, but I will have to read the first book.

This book is smoking hot, sizzling to the point of blowing up my kindle! I adore the fact that the main characters aren’t twenty something but the female characters are forty something.

This installment is mostly about Debra a 40 something woman, living a solitary life since her divorce 6 years prior, and her finding herself. That old saying about of all the Gin Joints in all the World, when Master Derek walks into her bank asking for a loan. The magic begins when he takes Debra to lunch and asks her to be his model for a Shibari class. (Shibari is a Japanese bondage art).

I don’t want to go into a lot of detail so I do not spoil the story but the alpha men in this book are so very well written and I would follow them around like a puppy. I can’t wait for the next book!

This book is for those of us who like Erotica. *Warning, if you are not at least 18 or DO NOT enjoy BDSM or MFM Ménage ..DO NOT READ THIS!*

OMG this book is so HOT! I also love that the women that Lainie Suzanne writes about are not all that young. Debra is in her mid-late 40's and does not have a perfect figure but, her men love her the way she is. I read it from start to ending in a little over 1/2 day. Of course I didn't do anything else because I couldn't put Soleil down. 5 star HOT's for Soleil!

Please do read the warning and if you don't like what is listed in the warning then don't read the book.

I don't know if there is another book in this series but, I certainly hope there is. I need to read Gina's & Zeke's story now.

Excerpt: I think about Mom's advice- No one has the right to tell someone their love is wrong and don't allow someone's opinion to determine my happiness. Our relationship is right for us. Our love ~ Our way. DDP

Okay so here is the: ***Warning - This book is meant for mature audiences 18 years and older. Scenes include MFM menage, anal play, BDSM themes

I was very lucky to receive an ARC of Soleil & stand behind the 5stars I gave!
Lainie Suzanne knows how to keep you interested, that's for sure!
There was a scene that was so hot that I had to put my kindle down for a minute to clear the images from my brain so I could continue!
I love how the main characters have honest insecurities and I love their easy banter.
Deb is in her late forties, divorced from Scott-the schmuck-who you'll become reacquainted with,
and she agrees to help teach a class at Nexus that ends up changing her life.
*Warning, if you aren't 18 & do NOT enjoy BDSM or MFM Ménage ..DO NOT READ THIS!*
I dislike spoilers, but I'll tell you this, it is hot!

I looked forward to reading Soleil from the time it was announced. I clicked with Debra in Nexus, the first book in The Nexus Series, and couldn't wait to see what new author Lainie Suzanne had planned for her.

Debra is a fun and loving friend, so happy for Katherine, but she's having a heck of a time. She's dealing with jerks and family issues so the chance to help Derek sounded perfect.

And that's where the story takes off!

It's full of hot, panty melting scenes.

But...more than anything else, Soleil tugged at my heartstrings because it's a love story - fears and all.

<3 I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves naughty books! It definitely has mature content! <3

Another chapter in the Nexus Series. After reading Nexus, I felt like the Nexus family was my family. I needed to keep up on what happened in their lives and lives. Lainie keeps me up to date! Debra met her men (yes, men) at Nexus when she brought her best friend Kathy there for a night of fun and exploration. She didn’t know where this would lead her. Who would have thought sassy Deb was the perfect submissive to not one, but two amazingly sexy Doms. When you get to know this trio, you realize that ménage is absolutely possible, and absolutely hot! Lainie manages to keep us up to date on the rest of the group, without taking the spotlight from the books heroes and heroine. I thought this would be my favorite part of the series. I would give it 100 stars. Then I read on...

This is the second book in the Nexus series by Lainie Suzanne. This book is about Debra who was Katherine's from Nexus best friend and Master Patrick and Master Derek. Debra is 45 years old, she's been divorced for six years, her ex-husband, Scott cheated on her several times. She works at a bank and one day Master Derek comes in with questions about mortgages. He invites her out to lunch so they can talk privately. After a lengthy discussion about the BDSM lifestyle Derek asks her to assist him with his shibari class. Debra is a little nervous but she agrees to be his assistant. Derek and Patrick have been best friends since they were teenagers, Patrick is a police detective and Derek is an assistant district attorney. They are both Masters at Nexus and they like to share women but it's never clicked for them to have a relationship with the same woman. They are both very attracted to Debra and think the three of them would work well together.

Three is Not a crowd!

As a forty something divorced woman, Deb has had her share of bad dates. After her most recent flub of a date she has all but given up on finding someone special. When the delectable Derek walks into her bank and invites her to lunch, she never thought it would be the spark that ignites her love life.

Derek finds Deb's lack of experience in BDSM refreshing. He sees her natural submissive nature and is instantly attracted to her. Will he be able to bring Deb into "the lifestyle"?

Patrick is also attracted to the sexy newcomer, and he senses her attraction to him. He and Derek have been best friends for many years; they even came into the lifestyle together. The two sexy Doms share everything. Is there a limit to what they will share?

Once again Lainie Suzanne has penned a relatable story. With Deb, she has given us a still beautiful, yet middle-aged divorcee` trying to rebuild herself. Deb's struggle with her upbringing versus her desire, hits close to home and allowed me to put myself in her spot throughout the book. This is a profile fitting so many in our age group, and I applaud her portrayal of a real woman.

The way Lainie has written the BDSM scenes and the D/s relationships shows all parties receiving respect and in control of their own fate. Never did I feel the characters were being coerced or mistreated.

If you are not interested in gorgeous men, beautiful women, erotic and kinky sex scenes, and an overall HOT book, don't read Soliel! But if you are into all of these things and want to read a well written story, go pick up Soleil, just make sure you have a change of panties and a working BOB!

Sometimes you buy a book and forget you have it until you re-read the first book in the series and then you go WOW I MUST read the second book and then discover you own it. Slip myself over the head wondering why I did not read it when I bought it back in April '15. But good for me it was a perfect New Years Eve read. This is a continuation of book one Nexus and if possible it is even steamier than book one.

If you are into triads and BDSM than this is the book for you. I would highly recommend reading Nexus first. Lainie Suzanne wrote these characters with so much life like they are in front of me....I think that is part of the reason that I like this book so much. They come alive on the page of my kindle in front of my eyes. It is like she is showing us a side of the life most of us want to see but are afraid to ask or go see. This book shows hot, steamy, safe sane and consensual in all aspects of their live and THAT is so important. I went start from this to Deceit book 3 and so should you.

A fantastic second book in the Nexus family! Deb, Patrick and Derek's story is heart warming, comedic and panty melting sexy all balled into one book. I could easily identify with the characters as they are older, established in life and all have anxieties/baggage that come with life. I also loved that I could hear what Deb was thinking at times. It brought me even closer to her and even more real. I did find the ending of the storyline with Deb's past to be less intense then book one, though still satisfying. I still half expect or want more to happen to Scott!

Though it is a stand alone read, we are caught up to date with Katherine and Isaac in Soleil. It reminded me why I loved these two so much from Nexus! One cannot help falling deeper in love with them after this book! The word MINE will be forever etched in my head after these two books.

Cannot wait to see what happens with this cast of characters in the next book of the Nexus family!!

Sexy, bdsm menage romance. I enjoyed book 2 in this standalone Nexus series almost as much as I did the first, Nexus. Debra is 46 y/o and divorced from the messed up, cheating Scott. This is her chance to explore bdsm, her submissive nature, and (lucky her!) attracting both sexy Masters, Derek and Patrick.

I love Debra and Kathy's relationship. I'm so glad that Kathy's story from Nexus continued in this one. Debra seemed a bit more spunky in the first book than this. I missed that a bit. I would have liked a bit more scenes with Deb, Patrick, and Derek bonding and forming their relationship beyond the sexual.

If you enjoy sexy menage scenes, this has a couple of very erotic ones! I'm looking forward to more books in the series ... maybe about Charlotte and Edward. Hint, hint.

I fell a bit more in love with Kathy and Master Isaac! His surprise for her was romantic. I recommend Soliel and if you haven't read Nexus, read that, too!

This was a great book.
Its not your average love story and thats what made me love it even more. Its about Deb, Patrick and Derek. They have a unique relationship and with that comes a lot of questions can a m/f/m relationship work in a long term and not just a short lived one. Deb defiantly has her doubts to over come and then you add in her ex who wants her back and is willing to try to break up her other relationship just adds to the complication.
It was very well written that the characters and their relationship is believable. If you have ever wondered how a relationship like that could ever work this book is a great way to get into their form of thinking and look at if from a different perspective. Their isn't anything taboo about the relationships in the book.
This book is a part of a series. If you haven't read the others then this one will make you want to. I look forward to reading the next one. I don't want to leave these characters yet.

After only recently reading the first book from this author - Nexus, I was delighted to discover this the second book had just been released. I absolutely loved Nexus it was hot and steamy and the characters were believable and lovable. Soleil is a perfect follow up, I loved it just as much if not more than the first. I already knew all the back story so I could just dive right in and enjoy the fun and Debra definitely knows how to have a good time! These books are quick and easy to read, with some of the most amazingly hot scenes I have ever read. What's even more refreshing is the main characters are in their 40's with insecurities like us all. Can be read as a standalone but personally I'd recommend reading Nexus first. Definitely recommend and can't wait to discover more books from this author :-)

I was giving an arc for an honest review:

I freaking think lainie suzanne rock. If you love a great m/f/m then you will love soleil this book bring together 3 different people each who are looking for different things . this book is hot and the chemistry they share is off the charts but its more .Deb thought she was looking for the one but maybe it takes the three of them to make a whole . love comes in all forms and sometimes not always conventional and I think this book shows that even through its an unconventional relationship that its the one for them . This book had my attention from the beginning till the end and I still wanted more. cant wait for the next book in the nexus series

This is definitely a must read

Soleil is the second read in the Nexus Series. Soleil is a steaming hot m/f/m menage BDSM read. Deb a divorced 40 something leads a hand to one of the hot, sexy, alpha Doms at the Nexus Club, Derek. Along the way she catches the eye of another one Nexus' Dom Patrick. Together the three steam up the walls of Club Nexus. I continue to love this series more and more with every read. The heroines are not your typical 20 and early 30 something, perfect 10s, but instead older, wiser and sexier. The alpha male are hotter with every read and men that every woman would like to take home. I can't wait for the next book in the series to see what new hot stories Ms. Suzanne has for us!

Lainie Suzanne has done it again! With Soleil, her second installment in the Nexus series, she has given us real, fully-developed characters that are a pure joy to read about. And she tackled a subject matter that can be at best, a slippery slope. But she navigated the subject matter and characters intelligently, respectfully and beautifully. I love Deb's feistiness, Derek's coolness, yet so very much in control, and Patrick, well that man just oozes sex to me! Their scenes together were blazing hot! Bravo, Lainie Suzanne! Another sinfully delicious read and I look forward to the next one.

Debs' life struggle was all about what other people would think of her new life & it was sacrificing her true happiness! I'm glad the way the book went & it was freakn' HOT! As for Leo & Gina..... I'm wondering what's up with them? Will we hear anything about them in the future? This book is so well written that it only took me 1 1/2 days to read it (in between life/day to day things). Such an easy hot read that the words flow faster than you think! ;) Yummy & wanting more PLEASE!

Hotttttt

This book was hot, sexy, and soooo steamy. I enjoyed it. Liked the characters, their back story, coming together, and ideas around this book. But, in saying that felt it was lacking some drama. I feel like something big should of happened. I feel the turning point wasn't much of a turning point. It lacked intensity and drama. That's what I was searching for from every flip of the page. I guess in the end that's what I was expecting.

Really Enjoyed the storyline of this book.. The ex was an idiot. Can't wait to read the next story in the series. I love the three of them in a relationship. Made for hot scenes. Keep up the great works.

Will say it needs edited again some of the punctuation is missing from where people are talking and gets confusing with the actions... But other wise its a good book. I recommend this series.

A great steamy read. The story moves along quick and this sequel to Nexus carries the story forward well. My only complaint was that everything seemed to move too easily for everyone and the tragedy that Debra suffered I wish we had seen more of an impact and reaction from her. Otherwise, it was a sexy quick read and I look forward to reading the next in the series, which is already on my Kindle.

Debra is a lucky woman. She's attracted the attentions of not one but two sexy as sin Masters. At the same time her ex suddenly decides to try to re-insert himself in her life. While she's not having any of that it makes her question her relationship with Derek and Patrick. Fortunately, events play out that sets her mind to rest and aligns her priorities.

First I must say I won this book from an event with no promises in return and am voluntarily reviewing the book. This is the second book in the Nexus series and I feel they should be read in order. I read and loved book 1 in the series and was excited to win this book. The story line is now about Debra, Katherine's best friend and her journey. This book gives you not one but two hot, sexy dominant alpha males, a little action, a couple sad moments and don't forget the hot and steamy sex. This book flows at a great pace and has enough twist and turns to keep you hooked til the end. This series is a must read. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
