This is 100% somno. Nothing else. Honesty, there’s more story in the book description than there is in the actual book. LOL Also, this says it’s 144 pages, but it’s honestly about 60 pages (at most)since it’s all double spaced and some lines are just a single sentence.

Calder sneaks into Willa’s home every night for three months, fucking her while she sleeps. When she finally gets pregnant, he fucks her until she wakes up and informs her that she now belongs to him. She says ok and they live happily ever after.

There is absolutely no story or dialogue between them. He whispers to her while he’s fucking her, but nothing beyond that. When she wakes up at the end, she asks his name, so we’re assuming she has no clue who he is.

I mean, if you’re into somno (which I am), then it’s good.

Loved the kink but seriously, there isn't any plot. It gets very repetitive after two chapters which is a bit disappointing because I genuinely wanted to love this.

Dark romance that is pure smut - somno and breeding kink. I was torn on 2 or 3 stars because the smut was okay but the book was really missing some development. I wish there was context other than the blurb on the background of the male and female lead before the smut kicked off. It just felt like these main leads appeared out of nowhere and we learn nothing about them.

I also found it unrealistic the female lead seemed to have no idea every morning about the male lead's visit. She didn't seem confused or surprised. And when the reveal happened, she didn't have a reaction at all.

Outrageous? Yes.
Unrealistic? Completely.
Did it make me squirm in the best way? Hell yes.

I devoured this like the depraved little gremlin I am. Wild setup? Sleep kink? Breeding? Yes, please. It’s absolutely insane—but so hot. I just wish there’d been some connection before the clothes flew off, because dang, this needed a tiny dose of reality.

Still… if you’re here for the sleep kink filth, this one delivers.

Look this is 99.99% smut and .01% plot, if you are looking for the plot just don’t. The timeline makes no sense, it’s 6 days then all of a sudden months. Also, how did she not wake up or know when he came on her? See what I mean, no plot.

Now the smut was good, but started to feel repetitive towards the end.

I didn't like the writing from this new to me author. It wasn't errors, it was the third person narration and line spacing. There was also a section towards the end, where basically a whole page was repeated. But the story was fun. Looking at the back catalog, there are many titles that are calling right me, so hopefully I get used to the writing, or it gets better.

The EXCESSIVE repetition and "I'm so cool and deep" teenage poetry vibe interfered with my enjoyment of this book. Could have been hot if it wasn't 15 chapters of him sneaking in,having intercourse,and leaving,yet no explanation of how she isn't realizing something is up if she awakes every morning dripping cum. cute epilogue,though.
