Halcyon Holland is leaving her live-in boyfriend, taking their daughter and the baby in her belly with her. She’s tired of waiting for the ring, so she buys herself one. When her ex doesn’t reconcile their relationship, Halcyon begins to second-guess whether or not she compromised her chance for a happily ever after. After all, what man in his right mind would want to deal with the community stigma of ‘baby mama drama?’ But Zachary Bishop has had his eye on Halcyon since the first time he saw her. Without a ring on her finger, Zachary prays that she will come to her senses and not only leave Scott, but come back to God. What one man doesn’t cherish, Zach is ready to treasure. Not deterred by Halcyon’s broken spirit, Zachary is on a mission to offer her a second chance at love that she can’t refuse. And as far as her adorable children are concerned, Zachary’s love is unconditional for a ready-made family. Halcyon will soon learn that her past circumstances won’t hinder the Lord’s blessings, because what God has for her, is for her…and him…and the children.

This compelling story related to me that God, is always with me even when I sin and strayed. Oh the joy that I had while I was in sin Jesus Christ loved me! This was a beautiful romantic story about waiting on God.
Halcyon and Zachary allowed God's Word to guide them to happiness. The complete series had me praising, in bible study and prayer meeting.
Pat Simmons has penned another great story about forgiveness, redemption and love in the lives of Halocyn and Zachary. Haloycn is a young lady who has made some bad decisions in her past. As she tries to move forward will she open up her heart for the love that God has destined for her. Zachary has loved Halocyn since forever. Will he be able to open up to her and tell her his true feelings.

I really enjoyed this series! It ended to quick for me. This book proved with God, faith and love all things are possible. I love that she uses Scriptures and provides the chapter and verse so you can read it your self. Awesome writer, this is the second series I read by her, and I love both of them!
l like this read I enjoyed Zachary especially he is a dream come true. He demonstrated Excellent love for the children that's extremely important. Furthermore, he was a Christian with the Love of God in his, heart, mind and life. Bridget is one lucky lady.
Zachary Bishop is my kind of man. He was simply amazing and the way he demonstrated his love for Halcyon was beautiful. It was a delight to see how God talked to the characters and the sprinkle of scriptures throughout the book added flavor to the story.
I read all 4 books in order which helped. The women of the series were strong without being over powering to their mates. However kept waiting for more background on the sister Tracy. Hopefully she will have a book in the future.
Pat Simmons is just such a Godly and Amazing Authors. She always have real characters dealing with real issues and How God is always there. Such an amazing job with this story.
I enjoyed reading this book. I felt as if it gave real life situtions along with the word of God to help an individual deal with what they may be going through.
