Volume II follows Piper back to Philadelphia to accompany Brock to the wedding of his sister and Reed. Reed is beyond surprised when he sees her sitting in the church. Piper refuses to let the hurt and anger toward Reed ruin the fun she intends to have with Brock. Brock has the reputation of being womanizer, a different girl on his arm every week. Can Piper accept the words Brock is saying as the truth? Can she get over her feelings for Reed enough to give Brock a chance?
M.S. Parks has created an interesting triangle. Who can you believe? Reed the cheating married man or Brock the womanizer? Moving on to Book 3. I need answers!!!

What has Piper gotten herself into now? Will she come away with her dignity and pride intact after accepting Brock's offer? Can she be accepted by a group of higher society people? Will she forget about Reed? Can she deal with the continued downcast verbal barbs from both the Stirlings and the Michaels? Can she truly expect for her sordid past to not come out? And not if it does, but when it does, can she live with all the repercussions? Will Reed let Brock and Piper find happiness together? Will Piper move back to Philly? Will Brock continue to support Piper, physically, financially and emotionally, if she does? When I'm left with more questions than answers, the author, M.S. Parker, has done a superb job leaving me wanting more .. once again! Can't wait for the next installment!

I loved Vol. I and was happy when M.S. Parker picked right up where she left off. I wanted to know, who did Piper pick? Was it Brock, who came on too strong or Reed, the man about to be married but who wanted her as his play thing. Oh how I wished she was going to take Brock's offer so she could kick Reed in the balls. I thought also, that maybe, just maybe, Brock knew there was something there with those two and wanted to mess with Reed. I am glad I was wrong.
Brock, it turns out, really ends up liking Piper and wants a relationship. He will fight for her, even knowing, that there is another she wants. Piper denies it, but Brock knows, he's not stupid. I love the fact that Brock is willing to give things up for her. Oh I can't wait to see how this ends.

Omg, omg, omg. Sinful desires is positivly sinful. The love triangle that is brewing between piper,reed and brock has you craving more and more. Not only is it a triangle between a high school crush but when the truth about reed comes out it becomes a love triangle with piper and reed and his brother in law brock. Even though piper started the relationship under differnt pretenses. She is starting to fall for brock because he see her like she wants to be seen. But does brock have different alternatives when it comes to piper or does he truely want her. This book is positively delicious and leaves you hanging on every word, thought and emotion. But what will it cost reed, piper and brock in the end. I'm so anticipating book 3 I can't wait to see what plays out in sinful desires (book 3).

This series just gets more exciting and suspenseful. Reed is an idiot, thinking he can get it on the side while staying in a loveless marriage is just crazy. Brock is a smooth talker and has all the right moves. Piper is trying to act out a little revenge on Reed but she may be falling for Brock at the same time. Great story and a quick read. So much excitement I can't wait for the next volume. I'm usually turned off by love triangles but this one keeps pulling me in. I received a copy for review.

So after the first Volume I was left kind of disapointed that it was so short, just as it was getting good it ended. But wow, I just loved volume 2. Im definitely Team Brock, he's hot and caring and I love the whole little love triangle thing. I can't wait to see what's next. Piper is a great character and I feel sorry for the poor girl and how Brock's and Reed's inner snobbish circle think that they're better than her. I do feel that volume two is packed from start to finish and I hope that people continued to read after volume one.

Shocked, surprised and totally torn. Who should Piper be with? Reed, the cheating fiancé? Or Brock and the unknown? Piper is intelligent but has one true friend, Ana. Should she listen to her or go with her own instincts? Piper makes some interesting choices in Sinful Desires 2. Will she regret them? Yes, there's another tease of an ending but M.S. Parker owns this...it's a fantastic read and I highly recommend it!

I'll admit I wasn't sure about the whole being the other woman on the side thing that the first book started....but this book I read in one sitting and thank goodness cause I didn't want to put it down!!!
Piper decides to accept Brock' s invitation, if nothing else a free vacation with a nice pay check but she finds the possibility of so much more!!! Amazing!!!
Can't wait till the conclusion of Sinful Desires!!!

Craziness!!!
sinful desires is definitely SINFUL!!! Reed, still claims he wants her and he don't love his fiancee. While Brock, the brother of Reeds, fiancee is putting the moves on Piper, and giving it all he got.

I could not wait to see how the second book was going to be like. I felt really bad for Piper, how Reed treated her. Then enter Brock I love how he is with Piper and loved seeing Reed's face. I can't get enough of this story and can't wait until book 3 comes out

Ok, I like the book and the writing, still fast paced, hot, and steamy. I personally am a bit confused on if I want Reed or Brock for Piper, and I wish it was dual pov's, but it's interesting and suspenseful.

Review for Sinful Desires I and II
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Stars
Initially, I had only signed up to review the first volume of Sinful Desires but M.S. Parker was so generous to send ARCs of two volumes instead of just the first. It seemed silly to only review one when two were present, especially considering the cliffhanger ending that was essential in volume one and, unfortunately for me, also in volume two.
SinfulDesires1Tease2Spoilers aren't something I enjoy, so I won't touch too much on the plot as the twists are a big part of this quick, light read. But I will say that Reed turns out to be a guy I would love to squash like a big, fat, juicy, tick. The nerve of this man! Augh!
Piper Black never fit in, mostly because she was from the wrong side of the tracks and was bullied by most of her high school classmates. It was only her best friend Anastascia that made life tolerable as the sole scholar in an upscale school. Otherwise, she either didn't exist or was ridiculed. Not quite a basis for fond memories of teen years.
It didn't get any easier as she grew older as her mother fell sick and was fired from her job, forcing them both to survive on Piper's meager savings for dance school. Her mother's death was more than she could take and she moved to Las Vegas with dreams of breaking into the world of dance.
Dreams aren't reality, though, and Piper ends up as an exotic dancer. Then Anastascia reminds her about their reunion and despite her misgivings, she decides to go. It turns out things haven't changed and Piper is just as looked down as ever. The only bright spot is the attention given to her by her former crush, Reed Stirling. His interest leads her to decide to sleep with him, putting to rest the "what-ifs", while gaining a happy memory of a heated, satisfying, erotic encounter. BUT, he's not what she thinks he is.
They unexpectedly meet again in Las Vegas while she's doing her job, and it's not a happy encounter. She also gets off to a bad start with Brock Michaels, who decides to make up for it by paying her to be his date at an upcoming wedding. What happens afterwards is something she never expected. Is Brock the man she hopes he could be? Is he sincere in what he says and does or is he playing her, too?
Piper is a realist, and while she isn't proud of how she ended up, she tries to keep her dignity while making a living. There aren't any starry-eyed dreams of how she'll end up with a rich, handsome man or make a fortune overnight. She has her feet on the ground and her eyes wide open. But each time she tries to think positively, she gets burned. Badly. It's not a wonder that she has no faith in humanity.

Reed may be the main character here but he is someone I love to hate. He might be sweet, but there is no backbone to be seen in him anywhere. He can't make a choice, he can't stand up for himself, and he can't think. If there is something positive about him, I don't see it yet. No way would he be my choice for hero - even if I think that's how he'll end up - which shows how well M.S. Parker weaves a story and got me invested in the characters!
What happens in the third volume of Sinful Desires? How will M.S. Parker make Reed likable (for me, anyway)? Or will Brock win the girl? Piper needs to make some hard decisions and I must to know what they are!

Piper gets a surprise invite from Brock to be his date to Reed’s wedding. He maybe using this invitation as an apology for how he acted at the bachelor party but Piper does not remember what he did. Now she is left with the decision, go back to Philly to see Brock and be his date to Reeds wedding or stay home wondering what could have been. After agreeing to be Brock’s date, Piper has second thoughts, as she isn’t sure she made the right decision. Being at the wedding and seeing Reed again could be more than she bargain for or will it be exactly what she needs to move on?
I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.
Piper deciding to go to the wedding wasn’t a surprise. It’s not like a woman who was given the means and the way to do something like that wouldn’t consider it just to be able to see the way the guy reacts to them being there. I get where she is coming from and the decisions she made but her thoughts and emotions seems to be a bit more scattered in this volume. Her heart knows it belongs to Reed but her mind is telling her that Brock is the man she thinks she should be with. Her best friend did give her a warning about him being a player, but Piper hasn’t seen that side of him yet. I think she is too blinded by emotions to see what’s in right front of her. As a reader I still haven’t forgotten what happened at the bachelor party, since Piper doesn’t remember it I’m anxiously waiting to see how it will comes back and bit her in the butt.
The fact that Reed isn’t happy with Piper is being with Brock has him staying true to what he has said about his feeling for her. He has tried to talk to Piper about what’s going on, but dealing with a woman you’ve hurt doesn’t come easy. I admire that he is trying but there is still so much about him we don’t know yet. I haven’t figured him out yet and it still has me very cautious as to whether I like him or not. He’s playing the happy husband but there has to be more to this situation he is in because the way he reacts to Piper being with another man doesn’t fit the type of character we’ve seen from him.
Brock is a guy who knows what he wants and goes after it, but this has left me wondering why he would be okay with Piper having feeling for Reed. He comes of a sweet, kind, caring and understanding, and as he doesn’t seem to care what Piper’s current occupation is, but there is still something about him that makes me think he’s up to no good. He wasn’t like this in Vegas when he first met Piper. It will be interesting to see where his character goes in this story.
This volume of Sinful Desire took the story in a slightly different direction having Piper date Brock and pushing Reed to the side, which has me wondering what is going to happen next. The main characters stayed true to themselves but by adding a third player into the story has its kept me guessing what twist M. S. Parker was going to throw at us next. This story may come off as a romantic drama but it has a suspenseful side to it. I look forward to see how it all plays out and who will let Piper down and who will show her that they’re the one she should be with. I highly recommend this to my fellow readers.

Just wrapped up Vol 2 and I'm just as greedy for vol 3 and I was for vol 2.
My initial emotional response is a little all over the place.
Brock - I have the same question as I did originally. Are you a good witch or a bad witch? Right now, the set up is for him to be a good guy. I just don't know if I believe it.
Reed - You messed up, dude. I'm not sure why, but I think you actually went up a few notches in my book in volume 2. I knew the dream was a dream as I was reading it, but I wish you pulled out.
Piper - You're not happy with your life and you don't have any family left. You have 1 friend that's been by your side and you treated her pretty crappy. You need to open up to her. I mean I don't even know why you're still in Vegas. Move in with Ana back home until you get on your feet with a real job. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a book, not real life. Regardless, I don't like the way she treated Ana.
I've heard the name Danny more than once in this series and I have some suspicions. I’m not sure if I’m on to something or if I am becoming a conspiracy theorist.
These are my thoughts. It’s a serial and a damn good one at that. I seriously recommend it. I’m always a little iffy with serials, because the short parts can make me feel less connected to the characters. That’s really not the case with this one. Read it!!

When Piper took the envelope from Brock she wasn't sure what she was going to do. The choice was to either stop behind in Las Vegas and go about what she was doing before she ended up sleeping with Reed or to go along to his wedding as Brock's date and have to sit there and watch him get married. After some thinking she decides to head to the wedding even though she knows it's full of lies, but when she gets there she knew from the start that she was going to get judged about who she is and what she does.
Reed is honestly shocked when he sees Piper sitting there at his wedding and through the whole ceremony he looks at her instead of his newly wife. Piper can't believe that he is doing that considering he is getting married right in front of her. As soon as the ceremony is over Piper heads straight out, she has no idea whether it was a good thing coming back here but she puts up with all the stick and hassle she's getting from the other guests.
However after things get a bit too much for her she ends up sleeping with Brock, and then Brock tries to get her to stay for longer, but what will happen when she ends up going to a family dinner with Brock and Reed's families. Also what will happen when Reed mentions that he still wants to be with Piper.
This book is getting hotter by every minute, I love the way that M.S. Parker has brought out all this amazing drama and that Piper is in the middle of a love triangle. This story is only going to get better. I recommend you to read it.

Piper can't believe that he is doing that considering he is getting married right in front of her. As soon as the ceremony is over Piper heads straight out, she has no idea whether it was a good thing coming back here but she puts up with all the stick and hassle she's getting from the other guests.
However after things get a bit too much for her she ends up sleeping with Brock, and then Brock tries to get her to stay for longer, but what will happen when she ends up going to a family dinner with Brock and Reed's families. Also what will happen when Reed mentions that he still wants to be with Piper.
This book is getting hotter by every minute, I love the way that M.S. Parker has brought out all this amazing drama and that Piper is in the middle of a love triangle. This story is only going to get better. I recommend you to read it.

I absolutely love this author. She has a unique writing style that pulls you right in. In this new serial series by this hot new author, we meet Piper. A young woman who works in a gentleman's club. She is a girl running from her past though at times it is difficult. As we follow Piper's journey, she will run into old lovers and meet new lovers. Who will win Piper's heart in the end?
In Volume 2 of this series, Piper is still reeling from the lies and deceit that is Reed. What she doesn't expect is to see Brock, Reed's soon to be brother in law or the interest he takes into her. When he invites her as his date to the wedding, she know she should stay away because it only spells trouble but she cannot. Will seeing Reed be too much for Piper? Will Piper give a chance to Brock?
I love Piper though I want to strangle her at times. Her life is already complicated but this poor girl keeps having it thrown at her over and over. I have enjoyed watching Piper grow and become stronger with each volume. She is learning to take charge and demand what she wants. It is empowering. Fingers crossed that Piper chooses with her heart when it comes to love!

So why the heck is Brock willing to pay Piper so much to be his date to his sisters wedding , Reeds wedding , ya crazy right ?? We know she accepts because she wants to make Reed squirm , to see if he will go through with it , stand up and be his own man or let his parents rule his life. Of course Reed is jealous and in pain but he is stuck in the marriage because of his family and so unless Piper wants to be the other woman and sneak around Reed is crap out of luck. I hate the way brock and reeds families treat Piper. They are stereotypical snobs with too much money and not enough personality. Piper and Brock really get to know each other at the wedding reception and from their starts a new adventure...

Brock is great and I just love him and they do have a hot chemistry going on !! Piper decides to hang around in Philly for a bit and learn what she can about Brock while trying to forget about Reed. Piper has returned from her reunion with very fond memories of her time with Reed that was cut short due to returning to real life. Piper is back in Vegas erotically dancing to support herself. M.S. Parker has me completely enthralled in this story and the characters. Sinful Desires Book 1 left me thinking, "OMG that poor girl" well Book 2 has me thinking,"You go girl!". Could you watch your high school crush, the man you have given yourself to completely body, mind, and even unwillingly soul, marry another? Even if only a week ago he professed you are truly whom he wanted to be with and he had no love for her, the woman his family arranged for him to marry. Piper makes a decision to take Brock up on his offer, but her motives are less then rainbows and sunshine. With revenge and spite being the forces that push her towards this next step in her story, I wonder if she is open to the direction her choice can take her life in. Is it really over for her and Reed? Is Brock the real thing, or is he a rebound like Reed accuses? Can she get past the social differences between her and either man... All of these things remain to be unseen but I am biting my nails to get the answers.

After reading volume one, I was surprised by the turn in volume 2. Piper decides to take up the offer made by Brock Michaels, and return to Philadelphia to attend the wedding of the man who broke her heart. Little did she know that the man who invited her, while reported to be a notorious playboy, is a sweet man who may actually be what she needs in her life. While she is uncomfortable with his social position she seems to actually like Brock, even if she feels she isn't good enough for him. Can Piper mend her broken heart by falling for a man who is Reed's brother-in-law? I like Brock's character. He may have been a player in the past but he seems to genuinely want a relationship with Piper. The budding relationship is well developed and the sexual tension is hot, as are the sex scenes. As is the pattern with Ms. Parker's series there is a cliffhanger but the next book is already available.

This book picks up where vol. 1 left off. Piper is trying to decide if she should accept Brock’s invitation to return home for Reed’s wedding. Deciding to give him a second chance, as he had come off as a creep at the bachelor party, she uses the cash he gave her to purchase the plane ticket back to Philly.
When she arrives at the airport, Brock is a perfect gentleman. Charming and attentive, Piper thinks she may have misjudged the man. After enduring the wedding and reception, Piper’s emotions are on overload. She just needs to forget, and what a better way than having Brock physically help her to forget all about Reed. When Brock continues to woo her during her stay, she likes him more and more. But when a friend issues a warning, will Piper heed the advice, or is she already in too deep?
This book was fast paced and by the end, you were anxious for the next in the series. I enjoyed the read and can’t wait to see how this all plays out. 4 stars

Love how fast paced these series are and this one is no exception.
Piper is hurting from the mess that is Reed and falls right into the arms of his fiancées brother who offers her the chance to be at the wedding!
Will she find what she is looking for in he arms of Brock. He certainly sets out in the right direction and sweeps Piper off her feet but will the romance last? Is Brock really the right man for her and will Reed come through and be the man she wants him to be?
I was a touch surprised when Brock enters the scene as a potential love interest for Piper and did feel slightly wowed by the fact she quickly picks up the pieces from Reed and rebounds pretty well straight into Brocks arms!
Brock starts out being a truly lovely addition to Pipers life and seems to help her out but moving forward you do have a sense that thinks with Brock may not all be as they seem!
Once again we are left hanging as to what will happen next - and I love it!

This installment answered a few of my questions, but I am still VERY suspicious of Brock. I haven't waivered on my feelings about Piper. She is a stubborn girl and is still wanting to achieve her dream even though the road is isn't clear, but her naivete bothers me. Is she so desperate for love and acceptance that she doesn't see the signs?
After a wonderful week with Brock, Piper is again presented with another proposal. This relationship went from 0 to 100 in 10 seconds. It's moving way to fast, and Piper will not heed the warnings. Once again I'm disappointed in her choices, but damn that girl has one crazy sex life. I think I'm jealous. I still have M.S. Parker's awesome sex scenes and great storytelling to keep me wanting to know what happens next. Three stars for the 2nd episode of Sinful Desires.

Volume II, yes please! This book leaves off from book one when Brock offers Piper $600 bucks for a plane ticket to attend a wedding. Not wanting too because she could use the money for other things she decides to go for it. After arriving Brock pretty much wined and dined Piper he was proud to have her on his arm. As for Reed well he wanted his cake and eat it too. He was fit to be tied that Brock would parade around with Piper he wanted him for his self, but he couldn't he had an image to uphold. Although her heart is totally with Reed can she truly move on with Brock? Is Brock just playing Piper for a full? Stay tuned as Volume III will be released soon.

Ah.. Piper decides to go to Reed's wedding as Brock's date.. and boy do things get interesting from there.
I didn't like Brock from the first time we met him in Part 1 and didn't care for him through this whole part either.
Piper again collides with a man that she thinks there is something special with, but he's not all that he seems to be. I kept hoping Reed would prove us wrong and be a better man than his previous actions had shown him to be.... but well, you'll have to read how it goes.
Again spelling errors hurt the flow of story. I hated how Piper had only slept with one person for so long and then in a VERY short amount of time she sleeps with two guys who are buddies. Four stars for me.
