Professionally, she produced hundreds of travel and news articles and has spent decades promoting zero waste technology and sustainability, composing a variety of technical documents, fundraising and marketing material, as well as website content for Native American tribes, government entities, and corporations. Prior to that, she was the schoolmarm in a one-room schoolhouse where she taught creative writing.
