My name is Morgan and I have been tortured, abused and tormented for over six years, I have prayed for help, I have screamed for the why’s. I have fought with every fibre in my soul, but still he has won at every game he has played.
Harry King is not a force to be reckoned with, I have shown him all my cards and yet he still holds me in my cell of a room.
I am getting closer to finding out who Summer is and why I have had to suffer. All the players are getting into position, their final cards are about to be drawn, how many will see the light of darkness again? Its time to find out once and for all.
When the mistaken come face to face . Summer and Morgan knew nothing of one and other (or did they) and through the hands of the devil(Harry) they are thrust in to one and others life. but how will things chance when Harry gets a visit from a ghost? Can these four live there lives in perfect harmony? Or will there still be deceit to unravel? Bailey & Morgan Wyatt & summer Who will come out the victorious??
This tale is so damn twisted, but I didn't want it to stop!! I am in awe of Amy-Beth's ability, the woman is AMAZING!! That ending was so effin perfect. Bring on wyatt. I need him now;)
Boy oh boy! This book is full of action. Carrying on smoothly from Mistaken Identity book one, we go on to find out what happens with Morgan, Bailey and wyatt. twists and turns around every corner.
I enjoyed the story and where it went, I didn't anticipate the ending and found myself gasping in places. it was graphic and therefore not suitable for readers under 18.
Wow what a great book i loved this one better than book 1 but you need to read book 1 1st its deserves the 5 stars i have rated it well done highly recommend it if you like dark reads this is the book for you
~*~ Obsessed by Books arc given in exchange for an honest review ~*~
"once shy and awkward young girl to a young woman who fights back..."
Welcome to Morgan's world, she exists as a plaything for a vile corrupt man. Kidnapped, beaten and raped for six years this is her story of survival and escape. She is taken brutally out of the blue and wakes up in her new life a prisoner in Harry Kings warehouse. He is the top dog in an organised crime ring. Mason is the wrong girl he believes she is Summer, his nephew's girlfriend. Wanting to strike out at Wyatt for becoming over confident Harry takes the girl. She is ears and abused but somehow is strong enough to survive. Her hope is to find out who Summer is and why she was mistaken as her.
The plot twists and turns as Bailey and Wyatt plot to take the family business down but these things take time and you always have to keep looking behind your back...Wyatt is taken out and the plans stall.
The story is told from several pov and with flashbacks interspersed so we see how she has toughened up and what has given her a fire burning in her soul that keeps her going. We witness the brutality of her life and the never ending descent into madness as Harry realises he has the wrong girl...
Part two and things get even more twisted. Summer and Morgan are reunited and the truth of their paternity is a shocker. Everything Morgan thought she knew gets turned upside down. With Harry now dead Bailey and Wyatt are planning for a HEA with their files but something is a little off with Summer. She isn't happy that Morgan seems to be the golden girl and that her selfish made her suffer for so long in her place...the boys feel something is about to blow up in their faces and they are not wrong.
Poor Morgan is once again kidnapped and molested having been set up by her sister. Some things just can't be forgiven...
The plot is action packed and although a little dark and twisted there is so much love, hope and strength in the characters. They go back to war with the guys that took over from King and fight to save their Princess. Blood is shed, new scars are made and yet they are survivors.
I loved the dynamic between them and the sassy mouth of a girl that really was at the wrong place at the wrong time and yet in the end it brought her together with the missing piece of her soul.
The Mistaken series book 1 and 2 by Amy Beth is one hell of twisted read!! I was held captive by the pages from start to finish. Told from varying pov and with flashbacks to the past we get the tale of Morgan "once shy and awkward young girl(evolves) to a young woman who fights back..."
Part two in this series and just when you think maybe life can improve for Morgan and the others Amy Beth changes everything. With Harry King dead everything will be better now, happiness, futures to plan and 6 years of life to reacquaint yourselves with, right??? Wrong. Summer and Morgan are reunited and the sisters deal with the results of their paternity, each sister handles it differently and you get the feeling Summer isn't quite all she seems. She's jealous of Morgan and her reasons for her silence are not making sense. Morgan is angry at everyone, her captivity and her parentage and her sister, she doesn't understand why it happened to her. He life, family and kidnapping was all a mistake: she suffered for years for Summer and she never even fully understands the consequences of her actions and the repercussions it had on those around her. Wyatt and Bailey don't fully trust Summer either "there is just something about her whole story that doesn't sit right with me." Muses Wyatt, their so right with their assumptions as their is nothing more vicious and malicious than sibling rivalry.
This time round the plot twists are more sinister and far reaching as one person's motives drives them to the point of madness. It's a journey back to hell for Morgan and will her knights be able to save her again or will their be more blood and tears shed this time??
Amy Beth has created a brilliant dark duology and with the added pov of Summer too we get the full version of events from each connected character. This is a fantastic debut and I can't wait for Wyatt's book next.
**I recieved the book by the author for an honest review!
4.5 stars!
I was so excited to read this book because of the way the last book left off.
Again, this book is a novella type. It's very short. But oh so worth reading it. It does start off where the last one left off.
Morgan is trying to find Summer and get answers for everything that has happened to her.
Again, I'm going to say very little because it will spoil something so know this, there will be (again!!) Lots and lots of twists and turns.
I also very much hated Summer. She was the bane of my existence. Very annoying. Also one thing I didn't like was that sometimes, things got too repetitive. It was frustrating.
Other than that this book delivers a lot!! For a few pages lol Definitely worth reading. Can't wait to read Wyatt's book and hopefully he gets his HEA as well :)
Now or Never picks up where Mistaken Identity left off. After reading Mistaken Identity, I was left with a whole bunch of unanswered questions. I was beginning to question whether Summer really existed. Summer does exist, she's Morgan's twin that no one knew about. You'll going to have to read the story to find out how that happened. In the first book, Bailey seemed to be a descent guy but I still wasn't completely sure about him. In this one there is no doubt that Bailey is a great guy.
There are a ton of twists and unexpected turns in this one. Most of my questions where answered. I would have liked to learned a little bit more about Summer, Bailey, and Wyatt before this all happened. I can't wait to read more about Wyatt in the next one.
Now or Never by Amy-Beth is second in a series. After six years of terrible captivity, the captor is dead and Morgan is free. Summer is reunited with her long lost sister and things look like they're getting better. But then, don't they always before they go completely to pot?
Dealing with six years of torture is proving difficult for Morgan and she is angry all the time. She suffered because she was mistaken for Summer and spent six years being tortured because of that mistake. And now things are getting twisted and complicated and this novel will leave you even more breathless and shocked than it's predecessor.
Jeez - I'm a bit numb after this one. A fantastical, I'm getting ready to read book 3 kind of numb. I will start by saying it's the second in the Mistaken series - and I highly recommend reading them in order. There is some overlap but you will be lost. And well frankly - mind numbing read folks. It's dark, it's dirty, and it will keep you turning pages!
Ms. Beth - continues on through the story and she will keep you guessing who is who, who are the good guys and who are the bad guys. It is definitly a mystery that will keep you guessing and wondering what you just read!
Amy's characters are dark, abused, abusive, and smoking hot! She writes with depth and purpose. If you like dark, sexually charge books - GET THE SERIES! Moving on to book 3.
This book was given free by the author for an honest review
This is book 2 in the series so make sure you read the first one as this carries on straight from book one.
Harry King has tortured poor Morgan for six years and he finally realises he has the wrong girl! It all comes to a head and Morgan is finally free of the hateful Harry. But will Morgan be able to escape the past or will see realise she is still living the nightmare and it’s nowhere near to waking up?
Amy-Beth, you have an amazing (if not slightly twisted in a nice way) mind and the twists in the plot will keep you hooked till the very end. This book deserves so much more than 5 stars I can give it.
Wow I really enjoyed this book ! It's dark, intense and raw. This is the second book in the series and it's recommended you start with the first as it is one continous story.
The author weaves a complex and intricate web of information that has you feeling tense and questioning the characters in a "who done it style" mystery.
The plot is very well thought out and the complexity of it shows how much planning and plotting the author put into this piece.
If you like dark and gritty reads then this is definitely one for you.
Morgan's story continues in this book. She was tortured, raped and tormented for six years. Just as she is rescued and she learns to adjust to society again, her evil twin, Summer has other plans for her. Now is the chance for Wyatt and Bailey to take down Harry and to find out what Summer is up to. This story picks up where it left off and ties in the missing pieces that we were wondering about in Mistaken Identity. Again this story is not for the faint of hearts, but if you like dark reads then this book is for you, but you must read book 1 first before this book.
I received a complimenty copy of this book through Crazy Cajun Book Addicts for an honest review. Wow!!! Loved it just when you think Morgan is about to get her life back fate has other ideas. She comes face to face with the one person who could have saved her all those years ago 'Summer' but is there more to Summer than meets the eye? Again another dark and gripping book from Amy-Beth with lots of twist and turns along way to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Amy beth is one of the best authors I've read in a long time
This book was given to me for a honest review This is the second book to mistaken identity I really enjoyed it loved all the details that was in the book and it was well written I loved morgan Wyatt and bailey loved how the lads protected the girl from danger
I gave this book a 5 star review thank you Amy beth.

3.5 stars..I don't know what to say??? This one had lots of twists and turns, I LOVE Bailey and Wyatt I must say... Hot..Hot..Hot. Girls, not so much. This book kept me intrigued as I did finish it.. I Had my doubts I would, and find myself delving into the next one..Wyatt. So this leaves me thinking the author has done her job! wether I liked it or not is irrelevant, I still kept reading. Well done Amy!
I struggled with this book. There were so very many editing, sentence structure, grammar and over use of the same word kind of issues throughout the entire story. I enjoyed the characters and the base storyline. There were awesome (and kind of sick and twisted) twists and turns in the plot, lots of surprises to be found, and steamy sex too.
