Unhinged, Intense, and Absolutely Addictive
I didn’t read Crave — I descended into it.
This book is hot.
It’s heavy.
It grabs you by the collar and refuses to let go until you’re fully feral and questioning your life choices (in a good way).
This is my latest dive into A.K. Rose’s universe, and once again she’s reminded me why I will always come back when she calls. Her characters don’t gently fall for each other — they collide. Every interaction is loaded. Every look lingers too long. Every moment feels like a spark hovering over gasoline.
The passion is relentless. It’s not just about heat — it’s about need. The kind that sits heavy in your chest and simmers under every word. Their chemistry is so sharp it feels dangerous, and honestly? That’s the appeal.
There’s a moment that perfectly captures the vibe — quiet, close, charged — where the tension is doing more work than action ever could:
“His voice dropped, rough and low, and the space between them felt unbearable.”
THAT.
That’s the energy.
The kind that has you holding your breath because you know what’s coming… and you want it anyway.
The steam builds naturally out of the character dynamics — the push, the pull, the way they circle each other like there’s no escape and no desire to find one. When it hits, it hits hard, and it feels earned.
By the end, I wasn’t calm.
I wasn’t normal.
I was fully sucked back into A.K. Rose’s orbit and already ready for whatever she does next.

CRAVING TO KNOW ALL THE SECRETS
Just a little background first, please read The Blood Ties Series, in order, before reading Crave. While this is the beginning of a new series, characters and events are discussed and it won't make sense. Although, I guess that is how the Ares brothers feel, because they do not know and nothing makes sense!
It's true, every family has its secrets, just some more than others and this is the case for the Ares family particularly Angelica the adopted sister. Darkness seems to follow the characters of these books, with an unforgiving, relentless pace, this story takes you through their grief, pigheadedness for answers, trauma and a willingness to OBEY even the slightest command. There are new players and new threats but at the heart of this story is family and what will be done to keep everyone safe while finding the truth at any extreme measure. A.K. Rose has delivered a powerful, seductive story that pushes the boundaries while maintaining a cohesive, detailed narrative.

Finished the first book of the Blood Secrets series....and whoa. What a rollercoaster ride. Like Ma'am....not only was I on the edge of my seat for all 9 books of the Blood Ties series, now on the edge of my seat with the first book of the Blood Secrets series!!
And now I have to wait for book 2?! What?!?!???!?!?!? The roller coaster ride she put me through was beyond measure. Between the boys, the hate, the love, the betrayal and THAT ENDING?!
I'm going to go crazy waiting for more.
Thank you Atlas Rose Author for yet another amazing book. You truly work so hard for all of these books and it pays off in full!

I was given the opportunity to read this as an ARC, and wow it exceeded all my expectations, I have read her blood ties series. I loved that this continued on in that universe and some of the characters are in it like Vivienne. I loved the characters in this book. I hope the brothers get their answers but not at the cost of their stepsister but I hope she gets her memories back. Can’t wait to read the next part in this series. This book will be added to my collection

CRAVE – BOOK ONE IN THE BLOOD SECRETS SERIES (DARK FORBIDDEN ROMANCE EBOOK) Angelica, Theo, Jude, Gabe, Silas the sister (Daughter) the brothers , she is accused of of murdering their parents. She is brainwashed to Obey , Submit! This story is fast paced, nonstop steamy, cruelty, torture, betrayal, lies . I was so enthralled with the story , OMG I can’t wait to read the next addictive book.

I was given the opportunity to read book 1 in the Blood Secrets series as an ARC, and let me tell you A.K. Rose did not disappoint with this one. The twists and turns and connecting everything with the blood series books just depends the story. If you have read the 1st series then read this one as you get a look into some of the side characters and more into the Ares family.

Here I thought we were done with the Order. I need to know what in the world did they do to her. In A.K. fashion this book was a slow burn but when the heat started to burn it was hot. I know Crawl will have me clutching my pearls!
