Perfectly Steady: A Motocross Single Dad romance

Rate this book
Odette wasn’t looking for a family. She certainly wasn’t looking for a man.

Then came the Stratfords.

Hired on as a dietitian for a promising rookie in his first pro motocross season, Odette was just hoping for a new beginning — one that, most importantly, finally put a little distance between her and the parents she’s spent a lifetime unraveling from. Raised by people too wrapped up in their own wants to truly see her, she’s still learning what it means to be cared for fully, and without question.

Suddenly, she’s surrounded by warmth she doesn’t quite trust, hired by people who believe in her, and growing close to a team that feels suspiciously like home.

And then there’s Mitchell — Orson’s father.

Sweet. Steady. Unexpectedly sincere.

Odette tells herself it’s just a harmless crush. Nothing serious. He’s married anyway… right?

But as the truth unfolds and boundaries start to blur, Odette is forced to confront what it might mean to be wanted simply for who she is. Because Mitchell is steady in ways she’s never known.

And terrifying in the same breath.

Because if someone like him stays… what happens to all the reasons she’s carried for why she’s unlovable?

Perfectly Steady is a slow-burn love story about choosing trust over fear, and learning how to love — gently, fully, and at your own pace.

After Afton Seeser’s last book “Perfectly Untamed” I was hooked into the world of motocross and “Perfectly Steady” definitely did NOT disappoint! Reading the slow burn of Mitchell & Odette’s love story was everything ❤️ Seeser has the amazing ability to create characters that feel very real, and the spicy scenes in this book were TOP NOTCH 👏🏻 We also got a bit more of Ruby, Chance, & Brody and I can’t wait for book 3 to see how that turns out!

I loved it all. The passion and need to be apart of his kids life. Coparenting is hard if you don’t have the right partner for it and you embodied that in depth with Mitchell. I won’t give too much away incase others who see my post haven’t read it.
