Never Drama Free

Can anyone think of anything worse than a mama's boy? How about one that you've given your life to, but he won't marry you? NOW if that isn't shocking enough add to that some quarreling, lack of respect and skeletons in the closet and you'll have the contents of dramas very own, La Jill Hunts, newest novel.

I shoulda never played house.
I woulda been beyond all of this.
I coulda done better!
Paige says as she watches her dream life take a turn for the worse through the rearview mirror as she hits the highway back home.

Though pained Paige finds a way to move forward with a new look, life and possibly a new guy. Unclosed and unknown issues force her back down memory lane. Will the old Paige falter, or are the new and improved habits here to stay?

All of you die hard Drama Queen/No More Drama fanatics will love the relationships of some of the past characters. Good read and I would have loved to see a lot more action because a few characters needed a couple of knocks upside the head.

I really like this cover.

This book is about friends and family and how too much of BOTH being in a person's business can turn something good, bad. Paige and Meeko are good friends and Paige's cousin Celeste has it out for her (Paige) because Paige met a guy named Quincy and they hit it off. Celeste went around 'hating' on her cousin Paige, telling family and friends that she herself was in a relationship w/Quincy and a bunch of other weird stuff....all and all she was lieing and it all was put to an end towards the end of the book when Paige told her friend Meeko that her cousin couldn't possibly be telling the truth because he was w/her.....ALL NIGHT!!! Lol!! This was a cool book...helped to pass the time. If you love reading about drama and disfunctional-friends and family, this is the book for you! Happy reading!!

I wanted to like this book but I didn’t I felt bad for Paige but she knowingly put up with a lot of unnecessary bs..... Let this be learning lessons to all the ladies who read this : never make excuses for a man because you’ll end up wasting your time and being weighed down by heart break ........

Very good book. I liked Paige and I was happy she stopped calling for her bf stupid lies. Her cousin Celeste was nuts. I'm rooting for Paige and Quincy in Book 2.

Shoulda,Woulda,Coulda by LaJill Hunt narrated by Charise Booth

Wow! LaJill Hunt brought it this time. I am so glad that she took it up a notch. This book literally runs circles around it's precursor.
Before I began listening to this novel I was listening to another book and let me just say this was a breath of fresh air. Sometimes you just want to feel good and this is that kind of book. The main character is very likable and you find yourself cheering for her. Myla was very well written for a child. I actually enjoyed all of the characters and their differences. I even liked trifling Marlon. This book made me smile and it made me anxious to see how it would unfold. One of my criticisms is I feel that Quincy was not developed. I didn't fall in love with him and he was way to comical for me to take him serious. I was however satisfied that Paige found happiness. This novel will make you think about what is more important to you and what your moral standards are. You will also reminisce about love and what it feels like to love someone and if it is possible to love two people at once. Why would I say that? Just ask yourself why Paige cried when she found out Marlon had done the ultimate betrayal.I believe the author leaves this story open for a sequel and I enjoy imagining what Ms. Hunt will drum up next.

I enjoyed this book it was a really good read. It's about a lady named Paige whom been with her bf for 6 years they have a daughter and also had a son together who died at birth. While trying to deal with the death of her son and alcoholic mother in law that doesn't think Paige is good forger son. Regardless to this Paige still loves Marlon and all she wants his him to commit to her and put a ring on her finger. Marlon will realize he had a good things but by then it will be too late.

what i have learned from this book is that there's always someone in our lives that is going to be there to try to stop us in life but sometimes we have to ignore the little things that they do to achieve our life long dreams or goals.Paige went through alot in life with her boyfriend marlon and his mom lucille. ms.lucille did not like paige at all and tried everything in her power to bring paige down but no matter what ms. lucille did to her she always brushed it off and moved on.

This book was a really good page turner! After being in a reading slump for a couple of months, this book really brought me out and I am glad that Paige was able to find love in the end.
