Love was complicated enough the first time around.
Dylan Carter thought he had it all figured he's running the hottest TV show on primetime, engaged to Spencer, the man of his dreams, and finally over Austin Ridge, the one who got away. At least, that’s what he keeps telling himself. But when Austin suddenly walks back into Dylan's life, and onto his TV set, old wounds resurface, and feelings Dylan buried long ago come rushing back with a vengeance. Suddenly, Dylan's picture-perfect life doesn't feel so perfect anymore.
Austin Ridge made his choices years ago. Career first, heart second. Now a star in his own right, he's come home hoping for a fresh start and maybe a little forgiveness. What he wasn't counting on was meeting Spencer, Dylan's fiercely loyal fiancé, who makes it very clear where Austin stands. Lines blur, secrets surface, and emotions spiral dangerously out of control. As the past and present collide, Dylan, Spencer, and Austin find themselves caught in a whirlwind of passion, jealousy, and unexpected truths.
Fallen Stars and Hidden Heartsis a heartfelt, funny, and deeply romantic story about the complexities of second chances, the messy reality of love, and the courage it takes to face your hidden desires, even when they threaten everything you've built.
An emotional, unexpected, and deeply satisfying conclusion to the series.
Fallen Stars and Hidden Hearts brings Dylan and Austin’s journey to a close—and now Spencer’s too—in the most beautiful, surprising way. I went in genuinely afraid Spencer would be sacrificed for the sake of Dylan and Austin’s reunion, but the story chose a richer, more meaningful path. No lazy plot twists here—just a thoughtful, heartfelt exploration of how love can grow, shift, and expand.
The emotional payoff of sticking with these characters through three books was everything I hoped for. Their story unfolded in a way that was tender, messy, and unexpectedly perfect. It honored the complexity of their relationships while still delivering a resolution that felt earned.
This finale didn’t just stick the landing—it soared.
I was really afraid that Spencer was going to meet an unsavoury end and even though I wanted Austin and Dylan to make their way back to each other, I definitely didn't want poor Spencer to be refrigerated to allow that to happen! I could not be happier with how this went. This was a sweet touching story of the expansive nature of love and this entire series hit me all up in my feels. To be fair, I LOVE me an established relationship story, so THREE WHOLE BOOKS covering their relationship was a dream come true for me!

I was provided with an ARC from Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review.
This was a fantastic ending to the trilogy. It ended unexpectedly, but sometimes I think that’s the best. This book really hit me, in a good way. I wasn’t sure at first with book one, but I’m so happy I stuck with these books and I will absolutely recommend them to others!
I laughed, I cried, and I experienced every emotion on the spectrum as I read through this series. Now that I’m on the other side, I’m so happy that our duo(now a trio) made it to the end and connected more strongly than I could have imagined.
3.5 stars, might round up to 4. This was a whole ride, what a trilogy. I am really glad I discovered it, this is really underrated. I appreciate how much turns the story took, coming to a conclusion I didn't expect.
The plot in this finale focuses on Dylan, Spencer and Austin and how the making of the show makes them get closer to one another each time. Dylan and Austin have history as we know, and things get more complicated the more Spencer's presence takes time and space. The result from this triangle is something no one ever imagined.
So first of all, I definitely liked this book more than the second one. It had a lot drama, which is exactly what I was here for. I never felt bored nor I thought any scenes were fillers.
I caught myself checking the progress from the ebook because at certain point something happens that really had me thinking: how's this going to end good for one person that doesn't hurt the others? I was at the edge of my seat. To answer that question, the author had a surprise.
This book was very satisfying in the aspect of giving a deserved ending for their characters. However, there's one thing that I wish it would've worked out better and that is the . I wish we had more development between them because their feelings sort of came out of nowhere in my eyes, and I felt like the book did more telling than showing. Part of me is conflicted because my ideal finale would've been .
Despite that, I do feel like the ending was satisfying in the sense that it came to a nice conclusion. I was afraid at some point that it wouldn't do justice to all, but surprisingly it did. Although I believe Austin needed more development, I was still fine with his ending and everyone's overall. The epilogue is what tied everything together.
When I started these books, I never thought this would be the type of ending the story would have. I really liked the realistic aspect of having the MCs change with time and growing into their own, not staying the same person as they used to be, all of that while getting to know new people in the process that leads them to their happy ending. That was an interesting journey that will stay in my mind.

An emotional, unexpected, and deeply satisfying conclusion to a series that had me in a chokehold.
Fallen Stars and Hidden Hearts wraps up Dylan and Austin’s journey—and now Spencer’s too—in the most beautiful, surprising way. I was genuinely scared going in that Spencer was going to be sacrificed for the sake of Dylan and Austin’s reunion, and I loved that the story took a different, more meaningful path. This book (and the whole series, really) hit me right in the feels. I laughed, cried, and devoured every word in one sitting, reading all three books in one sitting. I just could not get enough! The emotional payoff of following these characters through three books was everything I could’ve hoped for—and more. I live for established relationship stories, and getting to experience Dylan and Austin's evolution across all three books felt like a gift.
By the end, I wasn’t just rooting for a couple—I was rooting for a trio. The way their story unfolded was tender, messy, and unexpectedly perfect. I didn’t see that ending coming, but it made complete sense—and it made my heart soar.
If you haven’t started this series yet, prepare to feel everything. This final book sealed it as an all-time favourite for me. I’m going to miss these characters so much.
In the most stunning and unexpected way, Fallen Stars and Hidden Hearts concludes the adventure of Dylan, Austin, and Spencer. Going into the story, I was really worried that Dylan and Austin would have to sacrifice Spencer to get back together, so I was relieved when the plot veered off in a more meaningful direction. This is an in-depth look at the ways love can develop and change without any sloppy plot twists. I felt all the feels reading this book and the entire series. In one sitting, I read all three volumes and found myself laughing, crying, and devouring every word. There was no way I could stop! After devoting three books to these characters, I felt every emotion imaginable. It was a blessing to be able to follow Dylan and Austin's development through all three volumes because I love stories about long-term relationships. I went from pulling for a couple to rooting for a trio at the end. Tender, chaotic, and surprisingly perfect ,that is how their story unfolded. That was an unexpected but perfectly satisfying finish; it lifted my spirits to new heights.I received a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews, and this is my honest review.
I love this three book series and this final book is the perfect payoff for characters I invested in from earlier books. We first meet Dylan and Austin in the first books and their relationship went off track. Now in book three Dylan is with Spencer and live is going great, till Dylan reappears. I was not sure where this book was headed with these three men, but so loved the direction it took. (trying not to add spoilers). A well written realistic book that brought out a range of emotions in me, the most being happiness. I encourage you to read these three books as they are a solid addition to anyone's library. You will fall hard for the characters, the plot, the twists, and the ending. I did receive an ARC and leave this honest review.
The conclusion of the "Echoes of Us" series is fine, but I wanted a more dramatic and grander ending. I mean, I don't know what would make it better, so what do I know. At least I know how Dylan's and Austin's story turns out, and I begrudgingly acknowledge it's satisfying.
Reading Books 1 and 2 first is necessary. So, it's the familiar cast of characters like Natalie just being very Natalie. She's a hoot!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and series. I can easily recommend it.
I do like a second chance for a couple who love and find themselves thwarted by circumstances, even those of their making. So as I read the books in this series, I was looking forward to Austin and Dylan finding their way back but also feeling conflicted because Spencer is a good guy and now in the mix because of his relationship with Dylan. The creative way this author brought this love triangle to a conclusion was really thoughtful and took me someplace I was not expecting but appreciated. A good end to this series. I received an ARC from GRR and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I do not want to give a lot away, but I personally was very happy with the way this story played out for all three men. I was completely invested in the happiness of all of them equally, so I had been worried! Feelings and emotions were realistically complicated here and not everything just fell into a perfectly wrapped package for the three of them. Their intimacy is hot! Lots of beautifully shared times physically. I was definitely left with a good feeling about their futures, even Austin and Spencer!
This is the third book in this series. It tells the story of what was between Dylan and Austin years ago. What is between Dylan and Spencer right now. Then what happens when Austin becomes the third that completes their circle. There is some jealousy, some wistfulness glances and a lot of love
I liked that it went down the throuple route rather than them splitting up, since the story finishes in a more full fulfilling way. It's a good finish to the series but does lack some of the detail which was in the last 2 books, which is expected since it's really move of an ending book than a totally new plot line.
So this is what I was looking for when reading book 2. It felt like the book kind of paused and didn't fully decide what was going to happen between Dylan, Spencer, and Austin. It felt like this should have just been a part of book 2, as I don't think it works as it's own entry. But I was happy with how things ended up for our boys.
A simply superb trilogy following these amazing characters. I fell in love with them on their journey and laughed and cried alongside them. A truly captivating read that was such a pleasure! Highly recommend I received a free arc copy and this is my honest review
These wonderfully well-written, complex characters took me on an emotional roller-coaster and I loved every freaking moment. This was a great ending to their journey.
Really loved this concluding entry. Seeing Austin turn back up and everything that does to not just him and Dylan but now to Spencer as well made for a great story. I couldn't wait to see who would end up with who.
This is the third and final book in the series and it brings it to great conclusion and it was good to see how everything worked out for Dylan, Spencer and Austin. Good series.
Loooved this book. Loved the entire series really but this one just peaked. Perfect read to snuggle down with and you won't want to put it down. Highly recommended
