Feeling foolish was the last thing Amish woman, Angela Bontreger, expected when she arrived in Lancaster County. Her Aunt Elsa-May had assured her Robert would be a match. That was the sole reason she agreed to correspond with the man. Now, after at least forty letters and many months had passed, she was in his living room while he sat glaring at her as though she’d escaped from some far-away insane asylum.

Accused is another murder-mystery and romance combination that the Amish Secret Widows' Society solves. In this one the sweet romance and the mystery are equal parts of the story. Angela Bontreger, from another Amish community has been writing to Robert Geiger and comes to visit. She is surprised to arrive at Robert's house and he has never heard of her. The mystery is soon solved when they figure out that his nephew, Jacob has written the letters.

This starts the romance and the investigation by the widows into why Robert's late brother Ross was Accused of murder. The romance is sweet and a proper Amish courtship. They mystery is solved with the help of the widows and the late Ross Geiger's name is cleared. Accused has another happy ending and another murder solved.

I borrowed Accused form the Kindle Unlimited program.

I really love the way Samantha ties all the books in this series together. It adds so much to the collection and wants you to continue to read one after the other. The Amish Secret Widows' Society is at it again. In Samantha's book ACCUSED. This time, they are trying to prove a dead Amish neighbor's brother is innocent of the crime of murder for which he was accused. Many twist and turns. In this story, we are introduced to Angela and Robert who are brought together by Robert's nephew. Emma's and Wil's wedding gets closer as they struggle with the question of where to live. Bailey returns for a quick visit, and Silvie is still around...sometimes causing trouble. We will see what happens next in AMISH REGRETS.

Accused by Samantha Price is the third book in the Amish Secret Widows’ Society. Angela Bontreger, niece of Elsa-May, has been writing letters to Robert Geiger for some time. He has invited her to visit him in one of the letters. When she arrives she learns that he never wrote any of the letters, but rather his young nephew, Jacob, wrote all the letters because he was looking for a fraa for onkel Robert. A murder-mystery is also a part of the story which the widows’ society helps to solve. Very enjoyable and a 5-star read.

A really good read.

Really enjoyed this book. I like the Widows Society and the fact it includes Ettie and Elsa May is an added bonus. Immediately makes you feel at home.
It is very clever how the lives of the characters weave together.
The killers identity was a surprise. I sometimes work the killer out early on in books this time I didn't.
As always hearing about their faith in God brings comfort.

These books are stand alone but you won't want to miss any, Samantha Price's books are always well written and these are a great mystery. So far I never figure out the who done it! The characters are wonderful. Angela has been getting lot of letters from a gentleman. She has fallen for him and hoping she will be his fra. So she goes to meet him and what a surprise she gets. Great book!!

Recently widowed Emma Kurtzler has to fight for her farm. She can't quite figure out if her neighbor and very close friend is actually friend or foe. I listened to this on YouTube as an audio.

Another great read

It seems like each book in this series is better than the last. Introduction of a couple of new characters added another romantic element and of course a great mystery makes for a great read.
