Rescued by the Spy
Michael O’Malley is a spy working for the Solarian Federation, undercover in a sting operation against Jerold Laricon and his Ligeian settlement on Titan. Laricon is a man with Machiavellian social restructuring schemes and a desire for world domination. It’s a bad time for Nina Stanley, O’Malley’s old flame, to get kidnapped by Laricon.
Muddying the waters is Michael’s need to fit in and partake of the succulent fruits of Laricon’s stratified system—including the sweet, beautiful, and willing Alyssa. Michael wants to help Nina and free Alyssa, but he also wants to crush Laricon’s unscrupulous and vicious rise to power.
Nina is appalled by what she experiences in Ligeia at the hands of the evil Laricon. Her goal is to get out, no matter what it takes. But what if the price is Michael's life? Can she live with herself if that happens?
Nota this book includes polygyny, but is not a ménage story. The story contains dominant males, and some difficult situations. However, it is an erotic romance with a happy ending. There are some graphic sex scenes, though that is not the point of the story. If any of these elements offends you, this is not the book for you.

In the year 2220, in the Ligeian settlement on Titan there is a colony where women are subservient to men. Women are trained to serve men from a young age and having more than one consort is suggested. This is where Nina Stanley finds herself after kidnapped from her home. She is sold to Jerold Laricon, the Great Man in charge of the settlement. That is when she recognizes Michael O'Malley, an old flame from six years ago. He is not the man she remembers; he is cruel and refuses to help her escape.
Michael cannot help Nina no matter how much he cares for her. He is a man on a very important mission for the Solarian Federation as a spy. To help her will jeopardize his whole mission. Yet Nina cannot seem to keep herself out of trouble longer than two seconds and he can't stay away from her. Then there is sweet biddable Alyssa the young consort he had to take, only to realize she is just as important to him as Nina is. With his mission in trouble, Michael has to do some fast-talking and quick deals to keep them all alive until the Federation gets there.
This book was awesome there is no other word that can describe it better. It has espionage, violence, sex, and more sex. Did I mention the sex? The story-line is amazing. I loved the whole dominance and submission aspect played out in a different way. Instead of your typical boy meets girl, boy likes being a Dom book, it is so much more.
Michael is your ultimate antihero with a huge splash of asshole mixed in. You love and hate him sometimes within the same chapter. Nina is so used to being free her rebelliousness borders on annoying even to the reader. While Alyssa’s sweet demeanor makes you want to shake her to wake up and smell some freedom yet still love her. These three characters made for an excellent read. I would definitely recommend this book!

I loved this book! Sci fi, romance, lots of erotic scenes, action, and a tremendous plot.
Wow! This one had some pretty intense scenes that pushed me out of my comfort zone at times. The sex is probably the hottest I have ever read from Patricia Green. It was amazing!
The plot and world building were top notch. The whole culture based on the dominance of men, and the submission (usually consensual) was fantastic.
But what I liked most about this story was the fact that there were no surprises when it came to bad guys. The bad guys were so easy to despise, and there was no confusing who the bad guys were.
I like that in a story.
I also really loved how Nina grew to accept her submission to Michael, and also open herself up to the new exploring with submissive, Alyssa. This was very sexy and beautiful.
This could be the best Patricia Green’s story I have ever read.

I was blown away by this wonderful book. I have read all of Patricia Green's book and thought she couldn't top herself but she did with this one. It's Sci-Fi, political, suspense, adventure, romance and steamy explicit hot sex, also violence and spanking, a little something for everyone over 18. The characters were awesome and Patricia delved deep into the feelings and emotions and the dialog was from different points of view. The secondary characters were also well drawn some wickedly evil. I also enjoyed the sense of humor and would highly recommend this delightful adventure. Move over George Orwell.

Although the author writes great this wasnt for me.
For the writing style I would give a 4 star.
But when Michael that is a NO NO for me.
So thats why I DNF.

Story? What story?
I have to say the story was so weak and that it appeared the only reason the author was writing this was to include as many different versions of sex as she could think up.
This book is degrading to both women and men.

Normally i have no problem with D/S books, but this one just kind of threw me off. I didn't really like how he treated her, even in the privacy of his rooms he was still kind of an ass. Again maybe this one was just not my cup of tea.

This one is really short. This is mostly sex and some violence. The spy is there to break up a slave ring and a new slave is someone he knows. Lots of sex and with some story. Don’t pick this up if you are offended by explicit sex. If you aren’t it is a short easy read.
